Saved, Healed And Delivered!

I will extol You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up, And have not let my foes rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. Psalm 30:1-2.

 Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.  Their soul abhorred all manner of food, And they drew near to the gates of death.  Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses.  He sent His word and healed them,  And delivered them from their destructions.  Psalm 107:17-20

     Yes, God saved, healed and delivered His afflicted people from their destructions under the Old Testament and under the New Testament. Yes, the cross of Christ shows how earnestly God desires to heal us.  Yes, it’s true that healing of the body is linked with forgiveness of sins and a covenant relationship with God. Yes, we need to realize that Jesus redeemed us from all effects of the sin and fall of man, and that as a result we can be healed if we acknowledge Christ as our Savior and Lord. Physical death and sickness entered the world through sin, the cure is salvation in Jesus. By coming to Christ in sincere repentance, we can know Him as Savior, Healer, and Deliverer. His word is unchanging:

I will love You, O LORD, my strength.  The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3

It is a fact that the Old Testament types and prophesies, and the New Testament fulfillment of those types and prophecies, prove that through the atonement of Jesus we can be saved and healed. It is also a wonderful fact that the lovely God of love died to redeem us from all the effects of sin. The cross of Jesus causes us to confidently expect miracles, healing and deliverance from God. The God who gave His Son for us will also with Him freely give us all things. The redeeming work of Jesus is the basis of every blessing the Christian receives. Christ's death was the foundation of creation, of redemption and all the blessing of the new covenant and makes us complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. God’s word is unchanging:

As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,  rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.  Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.  For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:6-10

But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. Because finding fault with them, He says: "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah-  "not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the LORD.

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. "None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more." In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. Hebrews 8:6-13

Jesus said that His delivering love and power in the age of grace was to be likened to "the acceptable year of the Lord," that is, the year of Jubilee. Well every fiftieth year, or more precisely, on the tenth day of the seventh month of the 49th. year, on the great day of atonement, the sounding of the trumpets proclaimed the year of release and redemption. Every inheritance throughout Israel was restored to its former ancient family owner. All prisoners, captives and slaves were given their freedom, and all debts were absolved. The land, as on the Sabbath years, enjoyed a year of rest, and was not sowed or reaped, its natural produce was the property of all, to partake as they needed it. The blessing of God gave an abundant harvest to make up for the deficiency of food due to the suspension of work in the seventh year. The sixth year yielded a miraculous supply sufficient to meet the need of three years. (Lev.25v8-23.)

However God’s word, 'Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land,  'And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family,’ Leviticus 25:9-10, tells us that no blessing of the year of Jubilee was to be announced by the sounding of the trumpet, until the blood of the bullock slain as a sin offering was sprinkled upon the mercy seat on the day of atonement.

And now through the death and shed blood of Christ, the slaves and prisoners of sin, sickness and Satan can know complete release and deliverance, rejoicing in the forgiveness of their sin. Through Christ's atoning death salvation and healing can be ours. So we come to Jesus for salvation and healing and He will give it to us on the grounds of His atoning death. Throughout the Scriptures we see that it was the blood of the atonement that was the grounds of healing. In Levitucs 14:18,19., we read that atonement was made for the lepers cleansing, and we read in Numbers 16:45-50., and 2 Samuel 24:10-25., of plagues being stayed because of the atonement. God’s word is true:

And the people spoke against God and against Moses: "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and our soul loathes this worthless bread."  So the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many of the people of Israel died.

Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, "We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD that He take away the serpents from us." So Moses prayed for the people.

Then the LORD said to Moses, "Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live."

So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. Numbers 21:5-9

The Word of God tells us that the bronze serpent was a type of Christ's atonement, and the Israelites were healed through looking at it. If forgiveness and healing came to all who looked at the brazen serpent, the type of Christ's atonement, then, surely, by looking to the fulfillment of that type, our dear Lord Jesus, we can expect greater blessings than the Israelites experienced through the type of Christ’s atonement? God’s word is unchanging:

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, "that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life  "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:14-16

"And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself." John 12:32

This proved true in the ministry of Jesus, He healed all that came to Him of every disease and sickness. Christ's death is now the basis of every blessing that we receive as Christians for Jesus is the Savior who forgives ALL our in iniquities and heals ALL our diseases.

In Exodus 15:26., God promised to be "God the healer," and though it is a conditional promise, like all the promises of God, it reveals God as the healer of His people. Also similar promise is in Exodus 23:25,26., where God promises His obedient children, "I will take sickness from the midst of thee and the number of thy days I will fulfill," and again Psalm 91:6, promises those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High long life. (Psalm 90:10.)  These promises are conditional upon the keeping of the moral law, and law of health laid down in the law.

Some would say that we cannot claim these Old Testament promises, however, Jesus showed by His ministry that these promises are to be extended even to the Gentiles in this new dispensation. Many such lovely promises as Deuteronomy 33:25,27. Johuas 1:5,9. Isaiah 40:31. Psalm 23 etc., given originally to Israel, comfort and encourage Christ's Church today. We can also find comfort and healing through such Old Testament promises as Exodus 15:26, 23:25, Psalm 103:3. These promises are "Yea and Amen" in Christ, when we fulfill the conditions that God laid down with them. God’s word is unchanging:

 Therefore, when I was planning this, did I do it lightly? Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No?  But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us-by me, Silvanus, and Timothy-was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.  For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God,  who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 1:17-22

We read in the Gospels that Jesus healed all the sick in the multitudes that came to Him. The inspired exposition of Isaiah 53:4 in Matthew.8:16-17., informs us that Jesus healed all in the light of His atonement. Like the scapegoat, Christ has borne away the sins and sicknesses of all who trust in Him and His redeeming blood (Levitcus 16:22). It is foolish and unscriptural to say that healing is not in the atonement. Jesus died to deliver us from our sicknesses and pains as well as our transgressions and iniquities, He comes to give us peace of body as well as peace of soul.

The truth is indisputable, Christ's substitutionary death extends to healing of the body as well as the soul. Delitzsch, one of the greatest Hebrew scholars of all time, states there is a substitutionary and "mediatorial sense" in the words of Isaiah 53:4. In Isaiah 53:4, the same two verbs, "nasa," borne, and "sabal," carried, which are used to tell us that Jesus "bore our sicknesses and carried our pains," are the identical verbs that are used in Isiah 53:11,12., to state that Jesus bore our sins and iniquities for us as our substitute. This proves that healing is one of the "all things" that are given to us through our Lord's atonement.

In Isaiah 53:4., "surely," is "aken," which means, surely, indeed, certainly, and truly. It is worthy of note that the only "surely" in the redemptive chapter of Isaiah53, is before the promise of healing for the body, so we can "surely" expect healing for our bodies as well as for our souls. This "surely" is emphasized in Matthew 8:17., when Matthew says that the prophesy of Isaiah 53:4. was "fulfilled", it means that it was "filled full," that is, the full extent of its promise was revealed. The full extent of the promise of Isaiah 53:4., is healing for ALL who come to God for healing.

The Christ of the cross is the perfect remedy for all our needs, both spiritual and physical. Through the shedding of Christ's blood, all who believe are redeemed from the curse of the law. Galatians 3:13. We can claim healing on the grounds of Christ's atonement, just as we can claim salvation from our sins, it is part of our salvation, it is a privilege for all who believe in Jesus. Jesus said that most people will not believe that God wants to heal them, so He did miracles to confirm that it is God's will to heal those who come to Him for healing (John 4:48).

When the angels came to the shepherds, they brought the best tidings possible, "good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people, for unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord". (Lk.2v10,11.) The angelic choirs told of the intense desire of God to bring peace to mankind because of His goodwill and love. They proclaimed the greatest event of all history, God manifested in flesh to save mankind. When Jesus came to show His goodwill and to give His peace and salvation, what did He do? The gospels reveal that Jesus saved and healed all who came to Him in faith, confessing their need, He showed the wonderful goodwill of God, we never read of one needy person being refused, the only stipulation that Jesus made was that people came to Him in repentance and faith.

When Jesus preached the sermon at Nazareth in Luke4., His message proclaimed the perfect benevolence and goodwill of God. He said, in effect, "Today, you can prove the truth of Isaiah 61:1,2. and 58:6., you can prove the goodness of God in saving and healing power." TODAY He tells YOU that there is deliverance for all the captives because of His atonement.

When Jesus read these Scriptures in the synagogue at Nazareth, He showed the will of God in relation to deliverance from sin and sickness. Christ came to preach salvation, to heal the sick and broken hearted, to deliver Satan's captives, and set mankind at liberty. Christ came to bring salvation, health, and happiness, He could say, "This day, is the Scriptures filled full in your ears, through my ministry". Jesus showed God's will for them and for us. He explained and demonstrated God's strong desire to bless them.

The tragedy was that they did not receive the promised blessings offered to them by Jesus, because of their prejudice, contemptuous familiarity, unspiritual carnal outlook, and rank unbelief, and we can miss enjoying the promises of God and the blessings of Christ by the same unbelief, ignorance, and unspiritual carnality. God’s word is unchanging:

Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him. And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, "Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands! "Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?" And they were offended at Him.

But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house." Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.  And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching. Mark 6:1-6

Woe To The Foolish Prophets

And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,  "Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, 'Hear the word of the LORD!' "  Thus says the Lord GOD: "Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!  "O Israel, your prophets are like foxes in the deserts. "You have not gone up into the gaps to build a wall for the house of Israel to stand in battle on the day of the LORD.  "They have envisioned futility and false divination, saying, 'Thus says the LORD!' But the LORD has not sent them; yet they hope that the word may be confirmed "Have you not seen a futile vision, and have you not spoken false divination? You say, 'The LORD says,' but I have not spoken." Ezekiel 13:1-7

"For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light Mark 4:22

     Few had heard of Rodney Howard-Browne before he led a series of revival meetings in Lakeland, Florida in 1993. A lot has happened since then; some of it is commendable, and some of it is reprehensible. In theory Browne came to America from South Africa to "revive" a largely sleeping church. He quickly got labeled as a Holy Ghost "bartender" because of the manifestations of "holy laughter" dominating his ministry. In his meetings he taught that no only it was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep but only God was to judge pastors, not the (dumb) sheep! He also taught that thieves were to be blessed and rewarded, not judged for this is what Jesus would want them to do! He also taught that it was more important to give than to receive and spend a lot of time receiving offerings that he spent on himself and family members.

Rodney learned about nepotism from his good friend Senior Pastor Karl Strader of Carpenter’s Home Church, Lakeland, Florida, for the bible stated:

But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8

Christmas morning, Dec 25, 2002, changed the lives of Dr's Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne forever.  It was early hours of that morning, that Kelly, their 18 year old daughter, passed away in his arms.  She had suffered from the incurable disease, Cystic Fibrosis for 18 years.

 As she passed away, Rodney and Adonica offered up to Jesus the best gift they had to offer, their daughter.  Rodney then vowed, that because the devil had taken their daughter with this dreaded disease, he would pay with 100 million souls over the next 10 years.  Thus began the burning of the vision for 100 million souls.   The Kelly May foundation was born and the beginnings of World Outreach began with the planning of two great crusades this year.  The first in May/June 2003 in Mexico and the second Oct/Nov 2003 in Soweto, South Africa.   There will be 6 crusades next year and 12 each year thereafter. 

Hence it was not a surprise to learn that Gil & Loraine Howard-Browne were moving to Tampa this March to help Evangelist Rodney Howard- Browne win "One hundred million souls for Christ over the next 10 years?"  Considering the Howard-Brownes are naturalized Americans who don't belong to ECFA and are accountable to no one but themselves, this is a very stupid and impossible vision, especially considering that there have never been one hundred million souls won for Jesus in a period of ten years through out earth's history.  But the Howard-Brownes are nothing but liars, thieves,  con-artists and wolves in sheep’s clothing. I saw him in Florida as he was a guest-speaker at the Orlando Christian Center. I also attended his services in British Columbia, where he held a series of meetings from Nov. 19 through 23, 1996, in a popular charismatic church of Vancouver.

More than once in this 2,000-seat church auditorium, a member of his organization advised us to be careful at the altar and not step on those lying on the carpeted floor because "even if they are under the power of the Holy Ghost, they still feel pain!" Howard-Browne played a very active human role in the laughter manifestation. He joked again and again, "I'll read from The Amplified Bible, so if it comes out loud, it's because it's amplified." Himself a Caucasian, born and raised in Africa, now living in America, he came to this conclusion, "That makes me an African-American!" At the time of the offering he suggested, besides cash and check giving, "You can use your credit card: MasterCard, Visa, American Distress." The crowd was ecstatic.

Adonica - his wife - also made a brief appearance on the stage. At the very first meeting she was asked to greet the audience. Estimating that the crowd's response lacked enthusiasm, she said, "Are you just shy Canadians, or what? Are you just as the Americans?" A remark that lacked some tact! The Holy Ghost "bartender" seemed to believe that he needs to instruct people on laughing and behavior. He even defied those who would not respond according to his expectations.

It came close to threatening when he accused the more conservative people by saying, "We'll cast the religious devil out of you." He did not miss an opportunity to put his critics down, "Some people have got more faith in believing the devil can come into this place tonight to touch people. How dumb can you get and still breathe!" Referring to North American theologians, which he named dead heads, he said, "Bunch of whitewash, full of dead bones, like a constipated mule." Americans and Canadians, in particular, did not weigh much in his eyes. I don't know if his attitude has changed, but he said, "Jesus is alive. It's only North Americans that don't believe that."

The fact remains that multi-million dollars Family run Evangelistic Ministries in America be it the Hinn's of Orlando, the Straders of Lakeland, the Howard-Browne's of Tampa, the Falwells of Lynchburg, the Brights of Orlando, the Robertson's of Norkfolk, the Roberts of Tulsa, the Copelands of Forth Worth, and the Graham's of Minneapolis are notorious for hiding their total salaries and those of their family members and special friends in their indirect personally owned non- profit religious corporation while they live in palatial palaces like kings and royalty.

Just like with the Bakker's of PTL Club fame personal misconduct, mismanagement, and pillaging of the treasury and misuse of Ministry resources are quite common. Benny Hinn had to flee from Orlando Florida, when the media started to dig into the different scandals in his ministry. The Straders of Lakeland, personal friends of the Jim Bakker, Benny Hinn, Oral and Richard Roberts and Rodney Howard-Browne, went through a major split of Carpenter's Home Church in 1989 when the Straders refused to relinquish the financial control they had on the ministry, the church and its assets.

Unlike Jesus Christ who owned nothing, Televangelists Jan and Paul Crouch who lost their tax exemption for their Trinity Broadcasting Network are definitely not lacking in any material possession.  Their home is described as "a palatial estate with ocean and city views and was purchased for around five million dollars. It has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a billiard room, a climate-controlled wine cellar, a sweeping staircase and a crystal chandelier.    The three-story, nearly 9,500-square-foot house,  has an elevator, also has a six-car garage, a tennis court and a pool with a fountain. 

Trinity Broadcasting, established in 1973, has more than 768 TV stations on the air worldwide. The Crouches oversee a $100-million-plus-a-year enterprise. One of the Crouch estates is TBN's ranch in Colleyville, TX, just minutes away from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.  The 80-plus acre ranch contains eight houses and horse stables, is estimated to be worth about $10 million.

Mind you President Clinton did and President Bush does release his total salary and his personal income tax to the public while Billy and Franklin Graham and their friends do not. But adulterous and lying Bill Clinton seems to have more integrity and accountability than TV Evangelists do in this area?

It seems that all of these family run ministries see the dumb sheep as God sent to be fleeced for their own hidden agenda and growth of their personal kingdom of which they are kings and rule supreme and are not accountable to the public but only to God. But they collect their money from people and not God? And their tax exemption comes from the people and not God? So whom are they fooling? Not God and not the people!

Is it possible that they are really crooks who use the separation of Church and State to fleece the sheep as South African Evangelist Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne had said, it was their responsibility to fleece the sheep? For in a Howard Browne winter camp meeting in the USF Sun  Dome in Tampa Florida attended by two CNT reporters,  South African Pentecostal Evangelist Dr. Rodney Howard Browne taught pastors that "sheep needed to be fleeced or they would have too much hair and could not see where they are going. It was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep."

Dr. Rodney Howard- Browne had been credited with bringing the laughter revival to America. But from what really happened in Carpenter's Home Church in 1993 and 1994 and its devastating effect on the community including the robbing, raping and murdering of the sheep, was not much of a revival.

The leadership of the Assembly of God denomination both in Lakeland and Missouri also would not accept the testimony of one of its members Roy Aldrich that he was robbed and raped by money changers and wolves in sheep's clothing in Carpenter's Home Church during the so called "revival". But the State of Florida who cared about justice, righteousness and truth accepted the words and testimony of Roy Aldrich about the Straders.

The Florida State prosecutors proved their case and convinced the jurors that Dan Strader, the son of the senior pastor Karl Strader, devised an elaborate scheme to attract cash in the real-estate and mortgage investments. He was selling the securities without a license and that the securities were unregistered. This was done in an organized method amounting to Racketeer-Influence and Corrupt Organizations, or RICO Act.

Daniel, 37, was sentenced to 45 years in prison in August 1995. He was convicted of 238 felony counts for bilking 57 mostly elderly investors, some members of the church, out of $2.3 million by selling investments in properties that didn't exist or already had liens against them. Others who were involved along with Dan Strader were not pursed by the State of Florida as they felt that the conviction of Daniel Strader was a good example for others to take notice.

Dr Rodney Howard Browne used his influence and powers to raise money at Carpenter's Home Church to buy the senior pastor Karl Strader his much needed second Lincoln Town Car. But when Rodney was requested to use his influence and power to raise money for the unfortunate elderly victims of Dan's Strader, he refused.

It is to be noted that Howard-Browne's standard biography claims he once served as an associate pastor at Rhema. But according to Rhema church officials contacted, Howard-Browne was never an associate pastor-nor did he ever hold any pastoral credentials or responsibilities. Said Kelmeyer: "Rodney was never an associate pastor here. He was an ordained minister by the state and a lecturer at our Bible school, but was not involved in any form of pastoral work."

Howard-Browne also claimed a "doctorate of ministry degree" from an obscure San Jacinto, California correspondence institution called "The School of Bible Theology." A state Department of Education employee contacted likened the tiny school, which bills itself as "The Seminary to the World" and has no faculty, to a "diploma mill."

While most doctorate degrees are earned through serious study at through hard work at a credited University, Life Christian University of Tampa, another diploma mill now related to Dr. Rodney,  gives out honorary degrees to prominent Charismatic Christians based on stupidity and has stated:

"Many full-time ministers continue their education to the doctoral level through our Distance Learning program. These doctoral programs can include work in which the minister is currently involved and advanced standing is awarded for published works.  Our illustrious alumni include such internationally-prominent ministers as:

So why are prominent Evangelical leaders in America so dishonest about Doctorate degrees and are hiding their total personal salaries? Are they ashamed that they earn so much or not enough? Or are they Crooks and Liars?  Mind you the latter is more plausible for Evangelical Leaders in America, be they Billy or Franklin, Graham, Bill Bright, Pat Robertson, Rodney Howard-Browne, Benny Hinn, Jerry Falwell or others, have no integrity whatsoever; especially when it comes to their own personal salaries and those of their special friends.

David Taggart, a twenty-nine-year-old "personal aide" to Jim Bakker and his lover, received $360,000 in 1986 for special services. While in 1986 the Bakkers were paid $1.9 million. It is a fact the PTL Club was full of personal misconduct, mismanagement, and pillaging of the PTL treasury.  So are the others any different? For the total salaries of the Billy Graham and his sons and family are one of American's best-kept secrets and even their personal lives that are no different than that of Jim Bakker!

Self Righteous Evangelical leaders, such as Billy Graham and Bill Bright were shocked and dismayed, at the revelation about the life style and morality of these Pentecostal "televangelist in America. On Larry King live in the   fall of 1998 Southern Baptist Evangelist Billy Graham was insulted when he was compared with TV Evangelists such as Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Bakker and their sex scandals. Billy Graham said that he did not do those things which Jim Bakker or Jim Swaggart did - a statement that turned out to be a lie!

But Billy Graham's own son Ned Graham turned out to be no different than Jim Bakker.  Even though a President of an Evangelical Ministry must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, and not greedy for money, Ned Graham the son of Billy Graham, Southern Baptist minister, president East Gates International, a group that distributes Bibles in China told Christianity Today in an interview that he had abused alcohol and spent an "inappropriate amount of time" with two women on his staff.

Grace Community Church, Southern Baptist Convention, in Auburn, Washington-which counted Ned Graham, his wife, and their two sons as members established in 1999 the fact that Ned Graham was an adulterer, alcoholic, wife abuser, and drug user and revoked Graham's ministerial credentials. It directed Graham to stop using the title reverend.

Yet in a style reminiscent of Jimmy Swaggart, who refused to be defrocked by the Assembly of God denomination, Ned Graham left that congregation for another church.

Most of the staff and board members of East Gates International resigned amid controversies. East Gates, in Sumner, Wash., withdrew its membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability after Ned replaced the board members with his sister Ruth Graham McIntyre, brother-in-law Stephan Tchividjian, and business leader Peter Lowe.

Billy Graham, born as William Franklin Graham in Charlotte, North Carolina, a registered Democrat, and the leading spokesman for Christian Fundamentalism was educated at the now infamous racist and bigoted Bob Jones University   associated with Senator John Ashcroft and George W. Bush. As full time chairman of Billy Graham Evangelistic Organization, which he founded fifty years ago, Graham took a yearly one hundred percent salary from his own religious non profit organization; even if he was incapacitated, had a pension fund, worked about ten days a year and spent fifty percent of the time in bed or at the hospital!

While the Tampa Tribune had reported that "Billy Graham encourages religious leaders to be open about their salaries and publish their finances" But this does not change the fact that Rev. Billy, Ned and Franklin Graham, Rev, Jesse Jackson or any other prominent Baptist leader in America are not open about their total salaries and those of their family members and special friends.

Graham who has legally been stealing his full salary and other benefits for the last fifty years is unique in his special privileges in this non profit organization as no other employee in the Billy Graham Evangelistic Organization other than Billy Graham is paid a full one hundred percent salary and is allowed to spend fifty percent of his time in bed or at the hospital.

In the last five years newspaper investigations brought out factual revelation that showed that the "Born Again" Baptist leaders in America were no different than their Pentecostal counter parts. They were just as much liars, thieves and adulterers as the others.

As a matter of fact, even though he is sick and dying, spends over fifty percent of his time in bed or the hospital, Dr. Billy Graham has been taking a one hundred percent salary and other benefits from the B.G.E.A. that he had founded: Even though the I.R.S. rules state that no non-profit organization should exist for the benefit of one individual.  No other salaried employee in B.G.E.A. is allowed to take a one hundred percent salary plus his pension fund and other perks and spends so many days being sick, as Billy Graham has done and does.  Where is the justice or integrity in all of this?

Does the "Separation of Church and State mean that the chairman of a religious non profit religious organization could legally steal as much salary and other benefits as he wants if it is rubber stamped by his special board of directors and not be accountable to the donors or the public? This seems to be the case!   Otherwise hypocritical Baptist leader who preach integrity to others would not hide their salaries but be honest and state the "total compensation" of their five top employees, including Billy and Franklin Graham!

But Billy Graham and Billy Graham Evangelist Organization are very good a stone walling difficult questions such as the one asked of Barbara Webb, Administrative Services.

Billy Graham Evangelistic Organization in response to the reporting of Billy Graham's Hypocrisy And Satanic Jews on May 23, 2003 stated:

Mr. Graham apologized in regard to the Nixon tapes which were recently broadcast. Although Mr. Graham had no memory of what he had said, he felt it was appropriate at this time to give an apology. He does not actually feel about Jewish people in the way the words were said. Mr. Graham has made many friends over the years among the Jewish leaders and rabbis and has a great respect for them.

Thank you for your reply concerning Billy Graham's memory lapse!

I have an important question to which I would like to have an answer does Dr. Billy Graham at 84 years of age still take a 100 percent salary as a employee and chairman of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Organization and work less than 25 percent of time?

The sad part about Billy Graham's refusal to accept real responsibility is his use of the phrase "Although I have no memory of the occasion, I deeply regret comments I apparently made in an Oval Office conversation with President Nixon ... some 30 years ago." You will appreciate Bill Clinton the former President of United States and a great liar also used a similar phrase to avoid answering questions asked of him during the Monica Lewinsky scandal and would state " I don't recall." But God has a perfect memory and he recalls all things and so do others.

Graham's two faced hypocrisy also came out in a 1989 when a Graham memo to Nixon was made public. It took the form of a secret letter from Graham, dated April 15, 1969, drafted after Graham met in Bangkok with missionaries from Vietnam. These men of God said that if the peace talks in Paris were to fail, Nixon should step up the war and bomb the dikes. Such an act, Graham wrote excitedly, "could overnight destroy the economy of North Vietnam".

Graham lent his imprimatur to this recommendation. Thus the preacher was advocating a policy to the US Commander in Chief that on Nixon's own estimate would have killed a million people.

This disclosure of Graham as an aspirant war criminal did not excite any commotion when it became public in 1989, twenty years after it was written.

Billy Graham has raised up two sons Ned and Franklin who are as deceitful as their father. Ned Graham, the son of Billy Graham, Southern Baptist minister, president East Gates International, a group that distributes Bibles in China told Christianity Today in an interview that he had abused alcohol and spent an "inappropriate amount of time" with two women on his staff.

…Although Billy Graham encourages religious leaders to be open about their salaries and publish their finances none of the Grahams reveal their total compensation nor release their personal income tax as President Bush does and former President Clinton has done. It's the law of the land that all non profit chairman of corporations must reveal their total salary and that Billy, Ned and Franklin do not to their donors speak volumes of their hypocrisy?

Yes, Jesus told us to beware of hypocrites like Dr. Billy Graham and Rodney Howard Browne!

Vitamin B may help fend off Alzheimer’s in elderly by reducing brain shrinkage

Elderly people could stave off Alzheimer’s disease by taking supplements of B vitamins, after they were found to reduce the brain shrinkage associated with the disease by up to 90%, an Oxford University study has suggested.

Vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid can lower levels of homocysteine, an amino acid linked to shrinkage of the brain in conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease.

Previous studies had shown that patients with mild cognitive impairment suffered 50% less brain shrinkage overall if they took B vitamins.

A new study published in the journal Aging Cell by researchers at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa., has found the brain mechanisms involved that further link stress to the onset of Alzheimer’s.

The study, led by Domenico Praticò, professor of pharmacology and microbiology and immunology in Temple’s School of Medicine, looked at past research on corticosteroid — a  stress response hormone found at levels two to three times higher in the blood of patients with Alzheimer’s disease. Stress is known to be an environmental factor in Alzheimer’s and researchers wanted to add to this knowledge by studying what mechanisms were involved. They discovered early damage happens in the brain before the disease even occurs by finding that corticosteroid uses a brain enzyme called 5-lipoxygenase as a mechanism that damages the connection between neurons, leading to memory decline.

Scientists used triple transgenic mice — mice that contain genetic material transferred from another organism — that develop two brain abnormality signatures (amyloid beta and the tau protein)  for the disease. Over the course of a week, one group of mice was injected with corticosteroid each day in order to mimic stress levels.

The mice did not suffer memory loss; however, scientists did find that the tau protein was significantly increased in the mice that received corticosteroid injections. The mice that did not contain 5-lipoxygenase seemed to show no neuronal damage. By inhibiting this 5-lipozygenase enzyme, it is believed to also block the effects of corticosteroid.

The Alzheimer Society of Canada cites stress as a risk factor in developing Alzheimer’s disease — a disease diagnosed in more than 500,000 Canadians. They suggest reducing stress through meditation, deep breathing, massage and physical exercise.

THE GIFT OF TONGUE

WHEN WE SPEAK IN AN UNKNOWN TONGUE, WE SPEAK DIRECT TO OUR HEAVENLY FATHER, AND NO DEMON FROM PIT OF HELL THAT CAN INTERRUPT OUR DIRECT COMMUNICATION WITH OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. 1Cor:14:2 For one who speaks in an [unknown] tongue speaks not to men but to God, for no one understands {or} catches his meaning, because in the [Holy] Spirit he utters secret truths {and} hidden things [not obvious to the understanding].

SPEAKING IN AN UNKNOWN TONGUE IS THE BEST WAY TO EDIFY OURSELVES AND BUILD OURSELVES UP IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM. 1Cor:14:4 He who speaks in a [strange] tongue edifies {and} improves himself, but he who prophesies [interpreting the divine will and purpose and teaching with inspiration] edifies {and} improves the church {and} promotes growth [in Christian wisdom, piety, holiness, and happiness]. Jude:1:20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit.

THE GIFT OF TONGUE IS AVAILABLE TO EVERY BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN,AND ALL WHAT WE NEED TO DO IS TO DESIRE IT, AND OUR HEAVENLY FATHER WILL RELEASE THE GIFT. "GOD COVERS THOSE WHO REPENT AND EXPOSES THOSE WHO COVER THEIR SIN."

When you admit your sin, your failures, your shortcomings, your wrong attitudes, your spiteful thoughts, and your inappropriate responses--anything that shows you are putting your ego above God's will...the blood of Jesus covers your sin until it cleanse you. Therefore the world sees only JESUS.

On the other hand, whenever you hide your sin, God must first bring you to repentance before He can cover you. Sometimes He uncovers your sin before the world, using the shame of exposure as part of His work in your heart. He would prefer to teach and chasten you privately, but He will do so publicly if you do not respond to the gentle conviction of His Holy Spirit. To the Lord, your relationship with Him is infinitely more important--and definitely more eternal in consequence than your reputation or any discomfort you ma feel.

"You cannot have the benefits of God's power while sin still rules in your heart. Sharing His blessings demands that you surrender completely to His Lordship. You must allow the Holy Spirit to touch the hardness of your heart before you can experience God's power flowing through you freely and unrestricted."

Don’t Sweat It, Rest!

Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.” Ruth 3:18

God does not want you to “sweat”. Sweat here does not refer to your body’s perspiration, but your self-reliance or self-effort. God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything!

When you are resting in God, He works for you. In fact, when He works, you end up with more. He is the one who is giving to you. It is not about you trying to give to yourself.

This was what happened to Ruth in the Old Testament. After laboring in the barley fields from morning to evening, she was able to glean one ephah of barley (Ruth 2:17), which was equivalent to a 10-day supply of barley. Certainly, this amount was a blessing to her.

But when she rested at the feet of Boaz, her kinsman-redeemer, and did not labor, she received six ephahs of barley (Ruth 3:15), which was equivalent to a 60-day supply! When Ruth sought her own blessing, she obtained only one ephah. But when she sought the blesser, she received much more.

Ruth’s blessings did not stop there. While Ruth rested and sat still as her mother-in-law Naomi had instructed, Boaz, who was the owner of the barley field, went to work, initiating actions, executing them and speaking on Ruth’s behalf. Right through it all, Ruth sat still and rested. Eventually, Boaz, the barley man himself, married Ruth. (Ruth 4) That meant no more measured wealth of six ephahs, but the yield of the whole barley field in total!

Boaz is a picture of Jesus, our heavenly kinsman-redeemer. When we rest in the Lord, He will not rest. He will work on our behalf. What do we do then? We just trust in and enjoy His love for us.

Beloved, stop striving and be at rest. If salvation, the greatest work, comes to us by resting in Jesus’ finished work, how much more will all the other blessings?

There is no problem that Jesus cannot solve and no sickness that Jesus cannot heal but it doesn't matter how much you sing and dance and praise the Lord, if you are in rebellion or have not dealt with unconfessed sin in your life, God will not move on your behalf!

Live and Walk in the Spirit

There is much preaching and working with little spiritual result. It is owning to nothing but this that there is too little prayer, especially that much availing prayer that brings down the power from on high. Without the baptism of the Holy Spirit, prayer is not likely to produce results. Murray

 

It's not enough to know about our heavenly rights. We must know how to exercise them. It is important to take the time to devote to study and prayer, so we can understand for ourselves the things we hear so much about in church.

Some do not understand what it means to walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25 says, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." As a young Christian, I thought that living in the Spirit and walking in the Spirit meant the same thing. But if it did mean the same thing, the Bible wouldn't say, "If you live in the Spirit, THEN ALSO walk in the Spirit."

In the original language, live and walk  are two very different words. The word live simply means to have life, to breathe.

The word walk is a much stronger word. It means arrange in a regular line, march in military rank, to keep step, to conform to virtue and piety, and to walk orderly. The word walk is a much stronger word that talks about discipline and conduct. To live in the Spirit is something that you simply are. To walk in the Spirit is something that you have to learn how to do.

Those who only live in the Spirit, but don't walk in the Spirit, are the people who have received salvation and are no longer classified as spiritually dead. They are saved, but there is little fruit in their lives. They have not developed spiritually. But those who walk in the Spirit are the people that have actually disciplined themselves to the point of becoming Christ-like. If there are areas of sin in our lives and they are not confronted and dealt with, they will forever serve as weights to keep us from reaching our full potential in Christ. (Heb. 12:1.)

Can you hear God's voice? Are you sensitive to the Holy Spirit? The majority of Christians today would probably answer yes to both of these questions. You have probably had experiences that clearly prove that you can hear God. But, how many areas are there in your life where you know you are still walking according to the flesh? How many areas are there in your life where you know that you have not yet renewed your mind according to the Word of God? Some in the Body of Christ, in spite of the fact that they live in the Spirit, have not yet learned to walk in the Spirit.

Galatians 5:25 says walk in the Spirit, and it literally means conduct yourself according to the Spirit. If you want your life to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit, you must understand that this fruit will not just fall out of the sky and into your life one day. You have to make a determined effort that you are going to live for the kingdom of God.

The Holy Spirit is here to help you succeed, but you must make the choice to live for God's kingdom. You must not be willing to settle for anything less. You must be determined in your heart to have God's perfect will for your life. It is only through concentration, meditation, discipline, and prayer that we can learn to walk in the Spirit

GOD DOESN’T CHANGE!

Not only does God always heal; He has already provided healing for every person on the earth, just as He has provided forgiveness of sins and redemption.

God does not change. He is the Lord that heals us (Ex. 15:26), the Lord who sent His Word to heal us (Ps. 107:20), the Lord who forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases (Ps. 103:1-3), the Lord who bore our sicknesses on the cross (Isa. 53:4-5), the Lord who healed all who came to Him (Matt. 8:16), the Lord who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him (Acts 10:38), the Lord who set the church against sickness and commanded us to go and to heal the sick (Matt. 10:8), the Lord who told us that greater works would we do (John 14:12), the Lord who gives us power to lay hands on the sick and they recover (Mark 16:18), the Lord who confirms His Word with signs following (Mark 16:20), the Lord who healed the sick in the early church through the ministries of Peter, Paul and other believers (Acts), the Lord who gives gifts of healings to the church for the church age (1 Cor. 12:9), and the Lord who asks through James if there are any sick among us (James 5:14).

In accordance with Matthew 18:19, we can set ourselves in agreement with true authentic Christians and release our faith that we are healed according to God’s perfect will. Our relationship with God is the key to receiving His blessings in our life. The closer we draw to Him, the more wisdom and understanding He will impart to we so that we might have the faith and knowledge we need at any time.

We can pray in the Spirit according to Romans 8:26, "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."

We are to remember Hebrews 10:35 "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward." Also Hebrews 6:12, and be "followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."

YES YOU ARE HEALED IN JESUS NAME

Today many people are suffering in pain and different sickness. My friend you might have been taking medicine for a long time. But you need not be in that condition anymore. You may ask how? Well the word of God is clear. 3John 1:2 says: “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” So this means God wants your well being physical as well as spiritual. The thing is many people have a wrong conception that sickness come from God. No dear friend God wants you well. That’s why he sent Jesus to die on the cross for you so that you will have eternal life and your health restored. Isaiah 53:6 says: “By His stripes we are healed.” Notice it doesn’t say you will be healed. It is already done. The moment you accepted Jesus the healing has come inside you. You may say  I don’t see it. Well look at yourself well on the inside and you will soon see the miracle. Never lose hope. Don’t listen to the lie of the devil. Whatever sickness it can’t stay in your body because you are His child. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit. No sickness can touch you. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. So say I am healed and no sickness can touch me. See yourself healed daily. Thank him for the healing and soon enough you will receive the deliverance.

Father in the name of Jesus I pray for all those who are sick in the bodies or even suffering from mental distress. Lord you know their sickness. Your word says by your stripes we are healed. Yes lord I claim this healing into all my friends’ life. Right now let your healing power fill them and let them be made whole now in Jesus name. All sickness have to bow down at the name Of Jesus. Jesus I speak healing right now. Thank you for healing. Thank you for your deliverance. In Jesus name Amen.

Words. Use them right and they'll move mountains. Use them wrong and they can cause your entire life to go up in smoke.  So speak words of faith and stop the fire before it starts today!
