JESUS CULTURE OPENS DOOR TO DEMONIC ACTIVITY
Jesus Culture holds conferences nationally and internationally, and recently featured Hillsongs United in Chicago and in Europe. Many young people, ungrounded in sound Biblical teaching, have attended these concerts, thinking they are innocently going to attend a worship concert. Yet Jesus Culture is only the door to the many demonic teachings, and practices of the occult,The dangerous, deceptive spirits of these teachings are leading many young people into false doctrine and clearly demonic influence. The Bible warns of massive endtimes deception, and exhorts us to warn the brethren of these spirits and teachings.

Jakes and related teachers and churches (Vineyard, International House of Prayer, among others) and ministries continue to practice and spread these teachings, drawing more young people into their demonic cultic practices.
Praise the Lord that many have been saved and delivered.
Jesus warned that many would come in His name, that wolves would arise among the body of Christ, disguised as sheep (Christians), carrying false doctrines of demons into the churches, performing miraculous signs and wonders, prophesying, and cast out demons in His name... and that many would be deceived.

Pastor Mike MIZELL, lEAD Pastor
Pastor Mike and Sheila Mizell have been Senior/Lead Pastor since
1993. They were married in 1986. They have two children, a daughter
Rebekah who serves in ministry and a son, Dakota who is in the US Air
Force. Under Pastor Mike’s leadership Bethel Temple has experienced
tremendous growth with people coming from all walks of life and
denominational handles. Pastor Mike’s passion is to see the body of
Christ united as the family of God; a place where everyone is someone
and has something to contribute. Outreach and missions are huge
components that drive his vision and leadership. Under his leadership
sermons and teachings are solidly biblical and transformational;
outreach is priority and services are designed to be engaging and
uplifting. Pastor Mike has a heart for people and is approachable on all
levels. Pastor Mike states, “Bethel Temple truly has a place for you!”

Pastor Brent SHIELDS, Executive Pastor for Worship & ARTS
Pastor Brent started in ministry in December of 1989 as a Youth
Pastor and spent 8 years in youth ministry. He became the Music Pastor
at Bethel Temple in October of 1998 and currently serves as the
Executive Pastor for Worship and Arts, overseeing the music ministry as
well as drama and creative arts and media ministries.He studied Criminal Justice at Tarleton State University.
Pastor Brent married his wife, Rachael, in 1999. They have 3 kids. Landry was born in December of 2004, Makenna in April of 2006 and Maddox in January of 2008.
In his spare time, he enjoys helping with the kids’ sports and school activities and just spending time with his family, especially in the boat on a lake anywhere.
What’s on his iPod? All kinds of music, but some of his favorites at the moment are Hillsong, Jesus Culture and the Desparation Band. There’s also a lot of 80’s stuff as well!
His goal in ministry is for Bethel’s team to foster an environment where the Holy Spirit is free to move as He sees fit, to be effective for the Kingdom and not just polished musicians and vocalists. His heart is to see the old and the young, the new believer and the seasoned saint experience the presence of a Holy God each time we gather and watch how He becomes exactly what each one needs no matter what walk of life they come from. He counts it a high honor to be able to lead God’s people into His presence each week.

Pastor Mackenzie Richardson, Associate Pastor for Connections and Assimilation
Pastor Mackenzie received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Church Ministries from Southwestern Assemblies of God University.Mac’s favorite music is Hillsong, Jesus Culture and the David Crowder Band. His favorite movie is Ghostbusters. When he has a chance, Pastor Mac enjoys 5K Mud-runs.
His goal in ministry is for students to continually develop a growing relationship with Christ Jesus so that everything they do will become an opportunity to make Him known.
