THE GIVER

Jesus Is A Giver
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.  "Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  "Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:7-11

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." Mark 10:45

Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today and forever and He is a giver, not a taker! He is alive and well and in the miracle business ready to meet and help people at the point of their need! When we received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior God Himself became our provider, protector and a source of all wisdom and strength that we need. By faith we can receive all that God has intended for us to have. Because of Jesus we now can believe for God to supply all of our needs spiritually, physically, and financially. He is able!

Yes, when we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He took our name! Our name was sin. Our name was weakness. Our name was fear and poverty and every other evil thing we inherited from Adam.  Jesus took those names from us and gave us His own in exchange. That's right! Ephesians 3:15 says that the whole Body of Christ has been named after Him both in heaven and earth. That means you have been given Jesus' Name. Its authority is now ours!   We are named after "Jesus, Mighty God, Wisdom, Deliverer, Avenger, Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Word of Life, Advocate, Provider, The Great I Am, Helper, Savior, Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor,  Savior, Healer , Deliverer, Lamb of God, Lord of Hosts, Root of David, Author and Finisher of our Faith, The Way, Healer, Son of God, Man of War, The Truth, Judge of all the Earth, Advocate, Refuge, Rock, High Tower, Strength, Friend, Brother, Chief Cornerstone, King of Kings, Light of the World, Chief Shepherd, My Strength and Song, Righteous Judge, Son of Righteousness, Resurrection and Life, The Alpha and Omega."

Jesus is now our Jubilee. He has restored us to all the benefits God originally planned for mankind. Because of Jesus, we can walk in divine health and see all our needs are met-spirit, soul and body and financially! We can stand in our faith walk and declare and decree that there is nothing missing, lacking or broken in our finances and every other area of our lives! Through Christ Jesus God says to us today, "Come to Me and get what you need. Don't be shy about it. I've been there. Come boldly to the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Think about it. God is in love with us--so in love, He's given us everything He has! He's given us all the healing, all the wisdom, all the wealth, all the strength we could ever need.   Bible victory is ours, and we can believe for God to give us victory in all ways needed spiritually, physically and financially.  His word is unchanging:

"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.  With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation." Psalm 91:14-16

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Matthew 9:35

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.   For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,  saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you."  And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 6:11-15

And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets:  who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,  quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Hebrews 11:32-35

Through the new birth and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit we have become a power house of God to demonstrate to others the power and love of God! Through the battles and storms of life we can still shine, living blameless and without fault by holding fast to the word of God. Through God’s power and life   we can live victorious even in the midst of Satan’s onslaughts. His onslaughts of sin, sickness, disease, poverty and death cannot touch us. We live in the realm of life where with God all things are possible through the name of Jesus and standing in faith on God’s word! God’s word is true:

"Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' Matthew 7:22

"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8

So they went out and preached that people should repent. And they cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many who were sick, and healed them. Mark 6:12-13

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.  "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. Matthew 14:12-14

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,  and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

God has highly exalted Jesus Christ and given Him the name which is above every name. His name is above any problem, mountain, sickness, demon, need, foe, enemy, disease or problem that we could face or are facing! Everything must bow at the name of Jesus in heaven and earth! Through the use of the name of Jesus and faith, there is available to believers  the exceeding greatness of God’s power, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,  far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

Through love God has made us new creation full of power and love He has made us invincible champions. And by faith working through love, (Galatians 5:6) He has made us faith giants who can bring spiritual realities into this physical world through God’s word. It’s to be noted that God’s word, not circumstances or people, determines truth. The possession and confession of God’s word, by which heaven and were created by the spoken word, and the mighty name of Jesus brings real change to things in our lives to negatives things that are temporary and subject to change by our faith!

God made this world through spiritual realities. It was the spiritual world that formed this natural one. The spiritual world is much more real than the physical one. While the physical world can be changed by the spiritual world, the spiritual world is never changed by the physical world. But through the Spirit and word of God we have the ability to change this world and our circumstances and experiences just like many before us. God’s word is true:

So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done. Matthew 21:21

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.  By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3

The world was formed or made at God’s command. Likewise, our world can be formed and made by our command of faith. By our command the things that are spiritual realities can become visible in our life.  We can use our faith, our heart, our spirit, our mouth and speak the word of faith, the word of God and create change and see mega mountains be moved into the sea! God’s word is true, For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. 1 John 5:4

Faith operates outside our senses. It is born in the heart. Generally, all human beings have the tendency to walk by sight and not by faith. We rely on what we see, forgetting there is a spiritual realm that our eyes don’t see. It does exist and is both real and eternal. Faith connects us to the invisible and eternal world, where God’s government and celestial court is found. Faith moves us out of human limitations and transports us to the threshold of divine glory, where we leave our weakness and feebleness at the feet of the cross in order to be clothed with the invincible strength of the Spirit of God. We leave behind a world of failure and defeat to walk the solid streets of success and prosperity, transform the absurd into something logical, the rotten and despised into something useful and blessed for the world.

The writer of the letter to the Hebrews says that faith is the certainty of what you hope for. God will give life to all those pictures that He has impressed on our hearts through faith. Then what you draw with the faith brush here on earth will be accepted in the heavens. Faith is the conviction of the things we cannot see. As well as physical eyes, God has given us spiritual eyes. If we develop them we will be able to see easily the biggest miracles prepared by God in the world of faith. The Apostle Paul said:

"We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal" 2 Corinthians 4:18).
