Perhaps the mayor of Toronto wasn’t being hyperbolic when he told the CBC’s Peter Mansbridge that he had a “come-to-Jesus” moment that led him to quit drinking after a series of unfortunate events.
A video that surfaced on YouTube showed what is quite unmistakably Rob Ford dancing at the West Toronto Church of God (located at 1655 Wilson Ave.) alongside the “Hallelujah”-happy gospel choir on the stage late Sunday afternoon.
There was not much context provided for the now-deleted original video — not that one is really needed — although a voice at the end is heard to remark, “He lost some weight, though.”

A picture posted to Twitter expressed another opinion on Ford’s spiritual state:

“If you don’t see a difference in me in five months, then I’ll eat my words,” Ford told Mansbridge during an interview on Nov. 18. “I’ve had a come-to-Jesus moment if you want to call it that. I’ve let my dad down, I know he’s upstairs watching this.”
