IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH YOU SING AND DANCE AND PRAISE THE LORD, IF YOU ARE IN REBELLION OR HAVE NOT DEALT WITH UNCONFESSED SIN IN YOUR LIFE, GOD WILL NOT MOVE ON YOUR BEHALF!

YOU SHALL
His Enemies His Footstool
You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this," Says the LORD of hosts. Malachi 4:3
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption-1 Corinthians 1:30
But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. Hebrews 10:12-13
Our God is a God of victory and success, not defeat and failure. And there is nothing too big for our mighty God to handle. As His children we can now have victory and success in everything (Psalm 1)! The Bible says that Jesus sat down at the right hand of God waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. Jesus did not just sit down after His sacrifice, His death on the cross, He sat down expecting!
We need to position ourselves with an expectant heart under an atmosphere of thanksgiving! Expect is the thing within us that tells us that every problem will eventually be solved. The problem we are facing now has an expiration date. We are to expect it! There are enemies who have afflicted us with sickness and afflicted our life with disfavor. We can expect God to make all our enemies our footstool as He has promised. We are to be expectant! A farmer who has toiled in the ground and planted seeds expects a bountiful harvest and so should we! God’s word is unchanging:
Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, "which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches." Matthew 13:31-32
And He said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, "and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. "For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. "But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come." Mark 4:26-29
How do we bring God into our situation to put our enemies under our footstool, under our feet? It’s “by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving”. God’s word is true:
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; Philippians 4:6
The Bible is full of examples of God magnificently caring for His people, even in the most difficult circumstances. Paul tells of a time when he was being held in the stocks in the innermost cell of a prison. Though the situation seemed hopeless, Paul still boldly lifted up songs of praise to the Lord. Then, "Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off!" (Acts 16:26, NLT). Amazingly, God blessed Paul's faithfulness by sending a miracle to break the chains that bound him, and He can do the same for us now!
We can rejoice in the goodness of the Lord today. In the Book of Psalms it says, "He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what He has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord" (Psalm 40:3, NLT.) We can proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ! His name is lifted on high, for His ability to perform miracles in our lives is great! God’s word is unchanging:
For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many. 1 Corinthians 1:8-11
We don’t deny trouble, sickness, weakness, desperation, enemies and other curses that affect people but we confess that our God is bigger than them all and He is a miracle worker! We confess we are secure in Jesus. We have God Almighty living in us who can come against Him and succeed. If we are children of God we are not under a curse. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:13-14).
Both Jesus and Peter walked on the water when the boat was in the middle of the sea tossed by the waves through a strong wind. The bible tells us:
And Peter answered Him and said, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased. Matthew 14:28-32
We are to let faith in Jesus, not fear, dominate and control our lives and circumstances and walk on the waters of trouble in our lives until we come safely to the other side of plenty and prosperity! Until we have our success and victory we are to stand on God’s word:
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints- Ephesians 6:10-18
"Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. John 8:36
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 8 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18
Jesus freed us we have a right to be free. We have a right to know Jesus in the fullness and wholeness of His salvation to be free and stay free in Jesus mighty name. We have the right to walk in glory and the Spirit of the LORD! Because Christ is in us we can according to the riches of His glory, be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, be rooted and grounded in love, be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; so that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. Yes, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, the power of the Holy Spirit who resides in and abides with us. And as we yield to the power we will see the fruits and works of Christ in us!
Because of Christ in us we not only have hope and glory but power and miracles for our God is a miracle working God and a life giver. Jesus came to destroy all the works of the devil and remove all curses from us including sickness, poverty and lack. Jesus, the Life-Giver, gives us spiritual life, physical life, life everlasting. For those who are in Christ it is written, "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, . . . because of His great love. . . made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:1, 4-6; Colossians 2:13; John 5:24-25). God’s word is unchanging:
Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:2-5
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11
