WITHOUT CEASING

God’s Supply is Unlimited

"And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him  "and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Acts 7:9-10

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

For those who will love and serve the Lord like Joseph did, even as a slave and in prison, and hold to their integrity, God’s supply of riches and resources is unlimited.

'Behold, the days are coming,' says the LORD, 'that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah: 'In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David  A Branch of righteousness;  He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In those days Judah will be saved,  And Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she will be called:  THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.' Jeremiah 33:14-16

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8

God has a season and perfect timing for all things, including when He shall perform for His children, His church and the nation of Israel all the good things that He has promised them. Nevertheless God’s trusting ones are to ask, seek, and knock with a promise from God that "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”  God’s word is unchanging:

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 8 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. James 5:13-18

Seasons for answers and showers of blessings are not under man’s control but God’s. Nevertheless God’s word is unchanging:

"I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. "I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.  "Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. "And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid.

"I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore.  "Thus they shall know that I, the LORD their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people," says the Lord GOD.' " Jeremiah 34:25-30

The strength and resources of God’s people is nothing less than God Himself and all His riches and resources, no matter what they are going through. The excellence of the power is of God and not of us.  For God’s word is unchanging:

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.  We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-  always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

So then death is working in us, but life in you. And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak,  knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.   For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,  while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:7-17

God’s trusting ones do not lose heart, even though their outward man is perishing; yet their inward man is being renewed day by day.  Their  light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for them  a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,  as they   do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

In all things the life of Jesus and the glory of God is still manifested in them as God always leads them in triumph in Christ.  For God’s word is unchanging:

O LORD, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;  You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;  Yes, I have a good inheritance.  I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel;  My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:5-8

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?  The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.  For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?  For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ. 2 Corinthians 14:14-17
