THE CARNAL WAY  LEADS TO WOE AND  DEATH

Exodus 15:26 and said, "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."

Psalms 103: 
1    Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2    Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
3    Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4    Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5    Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6    The LORD executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

The longer I live the more I see that the carnal mind brings about death, both spiritual and physical as the carnal mind depends on self reasoning rather than the mind of Christ and on the earthly doctor rather than the heavenly doctor. The carnal ones are sure they are right in all that they think and do and when they get sick from eating the wrong foods or too much of food they run to their favorite medicine or doctor but not to doctor Jesus who heals every disease!

Matthew 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17    that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: " He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses."

Matthew 4:24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

The carnal ones with their logic and reasoning devoid of child like faith say that God put natural doctors on earth for a purpose but ignore the fact that their doctors are very limited in wisdom and solutions to serious problems and are not available on call 24 hours a day  freely without any charge like Dr. Jesus!  I know of many who went into the hospital with minor sicknesses and came out with major problems and some never came out but died there!  Woe came to them just like God promised:

Isaiah 30: Futile Confidence in Egypt
1    "Woe to the rebellious children," says the LORD, "Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin;
2     Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
3     Therefore the strength of Pharaoh Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt Shall be your humiliation.
4     For his princes were at Zoan, And his ambassadors came to Hanes.
5     They were all ashamed of a people who could not benefit them, Or be help or benefit, But a shame and also a reproach."

Isaiah 31: The Folly of Not Trusting God
1    Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, And rely on horses, Who trust in chariots because they are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong, But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek the LORD!
2     Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster, And will not call back His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of those who work iniquity.
3     Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out His hand, Both he who helps will fall, And he who is helped will fall down; They all will perish together.

For those who don't understand what the word woe means it means - it means

1. grievous distress, affliction, or trouble: His woe was almost beyond description.
2. an affliction: She suffered a fall, among her other woes

But God's true ones can run to Him in time of trouble for they have inherited many benefits as a result of Jesus Christ including  forgetting  not all His benefits:   Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,    Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,  Who satisfies your mouth with good things.

And in all circumstances and every situation they can put on the mind of Christ for they have the Holy Spirit, the Greater one living in them!

1 Corinthians 2:6    However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7    But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
8    which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9    But as it is written: " Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
10    But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
11    For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
12    Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
13    These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14    But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15    But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
