Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lust which drowns men in destruction and perdition. A notable fleecer, South African Pentecostal Evangelist Rodney Howard-Browne, a white supremacist in theology, who immigrated with all his brothers and parents to United States  became a naturalized American and taught that "sheep needed to be fleeced or they would have too much hair and could not see where they are going.. It was the pastor’s job to fleece the sheep had been credited with bringing the laughter revival to America. But from what really happened in Carpenter's Home Church in 1993 and 1994 and its devastating effect on the community including the robbing, raping and murdering of the sheep, was not much of a revival. Many fleecers peddle theological and spiritual poison. They bind Christ to the Almighty dollar bill and tie the gospel narrative to the riches and filthy lucre that they promise you is coming to you if only you became a Christian and gave them your seed offering.These  fleecers agree with Rodney Howard Browne’s assertion that it’s the duty of the pastors to fleece the sheep and that God alone can correct the pastors and no one else! Of course they teach "Touch not my anointed" and "Judge not!"

The only people who get rich from any prosperity form of preaching is “the fleecers” – TV Evangelist and Preachers. The dumb sheep who give to these so called “anointed ones” remain poor and deceived because in the last one hundred years God never gave supernaturally billions of dollars to any of His people because they lack integrity and their lust would destroy them. And very few of the TV preachers in America have any integrity! But God’s word is unchanging:
But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.  By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.
 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)-  then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,  and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. 2 Peter 2:1-11

It’s is a fact that some of the greatest corruption and perversion today is found in the house of God amongst Christians, not pagans. Not only do we have pedophiles who are priests or pastors, but we have rapists and thieves who masquerade as men of God. We find that many Christian evangelists and other ministers did not care for individuals but rather for the building up of their own empire. They are more interested in selling their products to their sheep then ministering to the sheep.  The establishments of such ministers have become corrupt these days because the Babylonian system has pervaded their establishments. They have become money changers who create idol worshipers. The ministry of the Holy Ghost is perfect but the establishments through which they perform their ministries have become corrupt.

Many churches and ministries  have become money making business establishments whose pastors and evangelists use flattering words, and have a cloak of covetousness to seek their own best interest, not the best interest of the sheep. Their desire is to fleece the sheep, not to bless the sheep. They covet offerings from the sheep they are supposed to serve and tend for. Evangelists expect offerings of those people that have been blessed by their ministries. They make elaborate advertisements for their products and spend little time ministering effectively to the sheep. The pastors are mostly concerned about filling their own coffers than those of the sheep.

Many ministers give long sermons to their congregations and lead them in long worship services on Sundays. According to these ministers, ministry means giving messages, conducting worship services, extracting tithes and offerings, and praying for the sick in their churches. They forgot that  ministry means taking care of the sheep, ministering to the poor saints and widows and edifying the faith of the weak sheep during their trials and tribulations.

We have many preachers who are devoid of power preach the gospel in flowery languages and exhibit their oratory but not in the power of God. Oratory takes the place of the power of God. Gospel is preached from the church pulpits as a matter of routine, at times, mostly from texts already prepared.   In the churches of today, the glory of men rules the roost. Men with good family background or rich men are honored when commonplace people are shown the backseats. The churches do not call "poor saints" or evangelists with poor financial background for giving messages but prefer only "renowned" ones.

These days, we find the ministers of God covet "service" from the people whom they are supposed to serve. They boast that they had resigned from their secular jobs to serve God but expect offerings from the people whom they serve. They do not work with their own hands even in their own offices established by them for running their ministries. They want "service" from the staff working in their offices.   Recently,  a T.V. Evangelist USA preached a message of "prosperity" to his sheep.  He quoted Jesus' words in Luke 4:18: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor...".  This preacher replaced the word "gospel" with the word "prosperity" and preached that prosperity should be preached to the poor so that the poor may become rich. And then we have Evangelists who mainly preach on healing and miracles and not on cross-bearing and discipleship. The apostles during the New Testament period preached the gospel to the people with the result that the sick and the demon-possessed were delivered. They did not focus on healing and miracle ministries. But, miracles and signs followed them. They did not follow miracles and signs. God’s word is unchanging:

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.  For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.  But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit," and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire." 2 Peter 2:20-22

There is an aspect of the prosperity gospel that keeps the minds of the people on the material and not the spiritual, and is leading many away from the truth, therefore causing many to focus on the things of the world and not the things of God! Do not be fooled by these false teachers my brethren, who by covetousness will exploit you with deceptive words ( 2 Peter 2:3)! This message applies to many pastors, TV ministers, evangelist, and preachers who are fleecing the flock. This is a word for you. And he said to them, it is written, my house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of thieves (Matthew 21:13).

Stop preaching prosperity, and start confronting sin, and the need that all must repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!(Matthew 3:2 ) stop using scripture to fatten your pockets, and shepherd your church, because, thus says the lord God: behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouths, that they no longer be food for them (Ezekiel 34:10) brethren, please wake up! And run from these ravenous wolves (Matthew 7:15)!

The coming of Jesus is on the horizon and the world is in chaos and yet the prosperity gospel is still being preached, especially by your TV evangelist. They are very cunning in imparting the sowing of seeds (money) into their messages (subtly) when the scripture that they are using does not pertain to money!! You may have been following them for years and they may seem charming to you, but remember the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9 ) today there are many ravenous lawless wolves not doing the will of the Father living lifestyles that you who struggle financially, support.

15 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.
19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! (Matthew 7:15)

For there are many who are following and are being deceived by false prophets and teachers :but there will be false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. There is a famous pastor with a huge following, who absolutely does not preach the true gospel of Christ! People are blindly following a man who is tickling their itching ears and has turned them away from the true gospel of Christ ( 2 Timothy 4:3-4)   It was so sad to watch the congregation so fixed on every word that was spoken, but was not feeding their souls the true spiritual nourishment they needed. Only the true word of God can satisfy our souls. We cannot believe every spirit, but we must test the spirits, whether they are from God ( john 4:1 ) only in our time with God in prayer will He reveal this to his children, so that they are not deceived.

We need to understand what Jesus meant when he said: because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it (Matthew 7:14) many will not find it if they continue to follow these men/women blindly! Just because  a pastor or TV preacher has a huge following means that he is leading you to the kingdom. Spend quality time with God(father) Jesus(son) and the Holy Spirit each day, ask God for wisdom (James 1:5 ) so that you can discern and not follow them into darkness. Blessed is the man to whom the lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit (Psalm 32:2)

While false demonic preachers preach on how to get great material wealth by giving money to them, do you appreciate that Solomon got super super rich by an accident?
Yes he asked for wisdom to rule over god's people and discern and give out justice, not money and god gave him much much more including a super abundance of wealth

Solomon didn't tithe to get rich and probably didn't tithe to stay rich. And he was also a great adulterer and whore monger who didn't repent of these sins. He is probably in hell not heaven because he made God mad at him many times!
