Do Not Divorce

Sometimes the pastors give messages pleasing to the congregation just for the sake that they will not give him much trouble.

This what Moses did for the Israelites when he gave them the law on divorce forgetting God's law?

The Pharisees asked Jesus, “Then why did Moses command us to give a divorce certificate & divorce her?”

Jesus replied, “Moses allowed you to divorce your wives because your hearts are unyielding. But it was not that way from the beginning. I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual unfaithfulness & marries another woman commits adultery.”

Jesus said, “Have not you read that at the beginning the creator made them male & female? & God said, ‘Because of this a man should leave his father and mother & be joined together with his wife & the two will be one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore, humans must not pull apart what God has put together.”

Any one divorcing his wife is actually cutting one flesh into two!!!!

How cruel it is?

What are the consequences of a divorce? Just think!

One of them is doing a great injustice to the other and leaving the other into a desperate life & go commit the sin of adultery with another person.

Their children are made to live as loveless ones as they have seen their parents as model for their life.

May not selfishness make you to do such inhuman acts in your life & it is really a wicked act in the sight of God.
