Sanctify You Completely

What We Believe!

As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.  For who is God, except the LORD?  And who is a rock, except our God?  It is God who arms me with strength,  And makes my way perfect.  He makes my feet like the feet of deer,  And sets me on my high places.  He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.  You have also given me the shield of Your salvation;  Your right hand has held me up,  Your gentleness has made me great. Psalm 18:30-35

1.  That the Bible is the true Word of God and is the only standard by which believers may live.

2.  That the Holy Spirit is the teacher and that Jesus Christ is the author of all genuine revelatory truth. We further believe that Jesus Christ, who began the good work in each individual life, is faithful to bring them to maturity.

3.  That as we extend God's love to each other, Jesus will bring the church, His body, to maturity.

4.  That each and every person can and must come to a personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ and dependence on the Holy Spirit. And only those who do are truly "born again" and are the “sons of God” (Romans 8:14).

5.  That the Holy Spirit leads, guides, and speaks to the church and that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active and vital to all generations of believers.

6.  That Jesus Christ still baptizes His followers in or with the Holy Spirit and that all may receive His word of grace and power.

7.  God desires that people be whole body, soul and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23) and we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).

8.  That divine healing and deliverance are necessary and vital dimensions to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that Jesus still heals and delivers His people and makes them whole (Psalm 103:1-5).

9.  In the return of Jesus Christ, to consummate His Kingdom, in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

10. In water baptism which is the outward expression of the inward work of Christ in our lives and in the Lord's Supper which acknowledges the work of the cross in our lives.

11. That God has appointed in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:28).

12. Abrahamic covenant of blessings, health and wealth now belongs to his seed which we are!

13. God doesn’t expect uniformity in doctrine but He does expect a man to think and decide for himself what is true or is not true, what is real or what is false, what is applicable or not applicable.

'And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. "And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:30-31

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5:23

From generation to generation, God is God and He doesn’t change. But He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. All of His works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down. He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, "What have You done?" He rules in the kingdom of men, gives it to whomever He will, and sets over it the lowest of men. But God knows things about men that they don’t know. He knows that if they don’t love the Lord their God with all their heart, with all their soul and with all their mind and with all their strength and their neighbor as themselves, they will not be perfect, whole and complete! Hence He has given men in His word the solution to all their problems that is found in Jesus Christ. His word is true:

Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.  Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction; For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:1-12

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21

Man who is born in sin and is full of egotism, pride and self sufficiency that comes from his father, the devil, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, has an inflated sense of one's own importance and is conceited. Man must come to a realization that he must trust in God with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding but to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord, Savior, Healer, Deliverer and Provider who will bring health to his flesh, strength to his bones, prosperity and correction where needed. Man needs to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith; that being rooted and grounded in love he may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; so that he might be filled with all the fullness of God. Yes, man needs for God, Himself, to sanctify him completely and to preserve his whole spirit, soul and body!

Just because a person is born again by the Spirit, that is his spirit is regenerated, doesn’t mean he is whole, body, soul and spirit! Many times because of sin and generational curses there resides real sickness in his body, emotions, and spirit which Jesus Christ needs to heal and deliver from. Most people are unaware that they have physical and spiritual sickness in their bodies but God’s word is unchanging:

Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. Matthew 4:24

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2

The problem with many Christians is that they stop at process of being born again or being filled with the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as though this is all there is to the full gospel of Jesus Christ, and don’t go on to being made whole body, soul and spirit. They rob themselves of having heaven’s best in every area of their lives and being. And since God respects the will of each person He doesn’t force upon them all the blessings that He has for them. Hence Apostle Paul prayed for Christians:

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,  and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,  which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:15-23

For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.  And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God Philippians 1:8-11

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;  that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;  strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;  giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. Colossians 1:9-12

God’s presence, mighty power, wisdom, discernment, love, miracles should be a constant reality in the lives of God’s people to meet whatever need they have or face! They are to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding so that they might walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father. Because of the mind and life of Christ in them they also laborer fervently in prayers for other Christians for their deliverance and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:19) that they may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God (Colossians 4:12).

People try all kinds of new things seeking health and happiness, but to no avail.  Only Jesus can satisfy the soul, calm the storms of life and establish our goings.  Only God can supply all of our needs spiritually, physically and financially and we can rest in Christ who changes not and enjoy His peace. His word is unchanging:

"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!" Luke 11:13

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. John 16:7

The Holy Spirit, the Helper, has come to be to us all that Jesus was to His disciples. He has come to guide us into all truth and to give us God’s best in everything. He wants to be a friend and Helper to us just like Jesus was to His disciples.  He is the Third Person of the Trinity, the personality in the order of the Godhead.  He is in charge of the affairs of the kingdom of God and is the Chief Executor of divine programs on the earth.  He is the Motivator, Energizer and Operator of every revealed plan or vision from God.  He is the Revealer of the hidden treasures of the kingdom of God.  He holds the key to the inheritance of the saints of God. He is the most valuable asset to Christian living.  He is the central figure in any breakthrough in life. He is the only One worth leaning on. He has come to reveal wisdom, knowledge, abilities, enablements and mysteries to us to show us our significance, value and power.  He has come to reveal our God-nature to us and cause us to live in a new dimension.  He has come to comfort us! He’s our invisible Partner, who causes things to work for us that won’t work for others.  We are to trust Him with everything big or small and aren’t to do anything without Him!  He gives us the mind of Christ! God’s word is unchanging:

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.  These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.  But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one  For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:12-16

The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to instruct, minister and reveal truth to us.  His wisdom is supernatural and as we yield to His wisdom we become successful and prosperous and victorious. He pours the love of God into our hearts (Romans 5:5) and enables us to live a life of love towards God and others. However He can be grieved when there is envy, bitterness, strife or unforgiveness. He can be grieved when we reject the truth or allow ourselves to be deceived. These things prevent Him from giving us the answers we need for our life. Though His anointing and giftings we can do all kinds of things. God’s word is unchanging:

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:  for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,  to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 1 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel. Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret.  For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.  What is the conclusion then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding. 1 Corinthians 14:12-15
