With God

Now as He was going out on the road, one came running, knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?" So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.  "You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal,' 'Do not bear false witness,' 'Do not defraud,' 'Honor your father and your mother.' "  And he answered and said to Him, "Teacher, all these things I have kept from my youth." Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."  But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.   Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!"  And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, "Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!  "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."  And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, "Who then can be saved?"  But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible! Mark 10:17-27

One of the great reasons to be a friend of God’s and to put your trust in Him is that with God all things are possible! And that includes not only salvation of the soul for the word salvation or soteria means being established in "protection, preservation, prosperity, promotions, provisions, soundness, healing, deliverance and the ministry of angels. The Word of God says that confession is made unto salvation!  Salvation means deliverance!  Deliverance from all sin, sickness, disease, pain, and the works of the devil! God’s word is unchanging:

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." Romans 10:10-11

When we get into agreement with God and expect to receive by faith in His Word/will, we will be healed, because God said we were healed!  God says we are healed, we are healed!  We must lay claim to the promise of God!  If we do not waver or doubt, we will see the manifestation of the promise of God for us!  God’s word is unchanging:

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;  he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:6-8

So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.  "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:22-24

Many people never received the manifestation of their healing because they did not see instant results.  They went away disappointed and discouraged believing that God didn’t heal them.  The Truth is He did heal them.  They just didn’t see immediate results.  Sometimes people do not see immediate results.  Sometimes it is “as they go” the manifestation occurs.   God’s word is true:

Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!" 4 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.  And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,  and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.  So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?  "Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?" And He said to him, "Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well." Luke 17:12 –19

All the ten lepers were cleansed but only the grateful one was made well or whole! It’s is possible to get an impossible miracle from God and still not be made whole body, soul and spirit which God is able to do as well even though God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask pray or think! But we alone determine by our choices and actions what God can or will not do for us. Jesus told the rich young ruler, "One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me."  But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

Yes, it is hard for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God, but not impossible! The things that are not possible with men are possible with God and many times God does strange things to bring about a solution.  A Christian woman asked for prayer for her husband to be saved. She expected that he would go to church hear the salvation message and give his heart to the Lord? Instead he started to drink and became a drunk. One day while driving in a drunken stupor, her husband was about to have an accident and hit a pole, so he cried out, “Lord! Save me!” And God saved him from the accident and his soul as well!

With God all things are possible. There is no problem that He cannot solve, no mountain that He cannot move, no sickness that He cannot heal, and no need that He cannot meet! God can do everything for those who have faith in God. His word is unchanging:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.  By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.   By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.  By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, "and was not found, because God had taken him"; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.  By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise;  for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.  By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:1-11
