FOOLS DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT DOING NOTHING AND SITTING AND GAZING ON YOUR NAVEL DOESN'T BRING ABOUT VICTORY
VICTORY COMES FROM BELIEVING, DOING, CONFESSING AND STANDING ON GOD'S WORD!
MATTHEW 7:24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. 26 "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.
THE NOT BIBLE!
It no longer surprises me how people will isolate certain Scripture verses by which the develop a powerless religion. For anybody to claim that they are “covered by the Blood of Jesus under the New Covenant” as an excuse to deny the finished work of Jesus which was done on the Day of Pentecost equipping Christians to do the work of Jesus Christ places them in a very unsaved and rebellious position. He is saying, whether he knows it or not, that “All Scripture is not inspired by God and is not profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may not be complete, not equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3: 16 – 17 – quotation from “THE NOT BIBLE!! - my term for people who decide that they do NOT want to accept some Jesus` teaching).
“THE NOT BIBLE” DENIES ALL THE COMPLETED WORK OF JESUS CHRIST, GETS RID OF THE NECESSITY OF BEING BAPTIZED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE “SIGNS FOLLOWING” (MK. 16: 17 – 20) WHICH CONFIRM THE PREACHING OF THE WORD OF GOD.
And, the word “confirm” means “to substantiate, corroborate, verify, authenticate, and validate”. And so, if there is no validation of what is being preached and taught, then it is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The work of Jesus Christ is always validated by the Signs, Wonders & Miracles. And, if there are none, then it is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “THE NOT BIBLE” (my name for the kind of Bible that exists in people’s rebellious minds and which Paul described as “holding the form of religion but denying the power of it. Avoid such people” (2 Tim. 3: 5).
Away back in the second century AD, there was a man by the name of Arias, like this person who doesn`t want the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in order to complete being what Jesus calls `born again of water and the Spirit` (Jn. 3: 3, 5, 7) who didn`t believe most of the New Testament. He did extensive writing denying most of the NT and ended up with a part of the Gospel of Luke and part of the Book of Acts. The New Testament is God`s Last Will and Covenant. You either take it all or you take none of it.
I WISH YOU ALL SPOKE WITH TONGUES
AS WE THINK ON SOMETHING WE SEE WHAT WE ARE THINKING BETTER AND ARE ABLE TO EXPRESS IT BETTER AND CLEARLY ESPECIALLY ABOUT THE BAPTISM OF THE SPIRIT AND TONGUES!
AND IT BECOMES VERY ANNOYING FOR US TO SEE IDIOTS DENY THE OTHER TONGUES WHICH THEY SPIRIT GIVES TO THOSE WHO ARE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AS DEMONIC AND NOT FOR TODAY
ACTS 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
1 Corinthians 12
10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
1 Corinthians 14
5 I wish you all spoke with tongues, but even more that you prophesied; for he who prophesies is greater than he who speaks with tongues, unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.
13 Therefore let him who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret.
14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.
18 I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all;
21 In the law it is written: " With men of other tongues and other lips I will speak to this people; And yet, for all that, they will not hear Me," says the Lord.
26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.
27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret.
39 Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues.
Moved By The Spirit, Not Human Honey
‘No grain offering which you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey in any offering to the Lord made by fire. Leviticus 2:11
Imagine yourself walking past the prodigal son sitting in the pigpen. (Luke 15:11–24) You look at him and see him salivating for the pigs’ food. Believing that it is good to show kindness, you give him money to buy food for himself.
That is human kindness which says, “I am a Christian. I should be kind, good and forgiving.” Such human sweetness or kindness may be likened to honey. Interestingly, while we elevate it, God tells His people not to bring Him a grain offering with honey in it.
The grain offering speaks of Jesus’ life on earth. Not mixing honey in the grain offering speaks of how the compassion and goodness we see in Jesus during His earthly ministry were all divine. There was no “honey” of human goodness that is tainted with human weakness.
In retrospect, the worst thing one could do for the prodigal son was to give him money when he was in the pigpen. Not only would he not have gone home, but what the Lord was doing in his heart would also have been spoiled. This is what happens when we go by the goodness of our human hearts instead of the goodness of God in our hearts, which is directed by His love, wisdom and perfect timing.
My friend, God does not want you to be moved by what you see but by His Spirit. There were many needy folks surrounding Jesus during His time on earth. But He did not heal every sick person around Him, feed every hungry stomach he passed or raise all who were dead. Isaiah 11:2–3 tells us that the Lord was not moved by what He saw or heard. He was moved only by the Spirit.
You too have the Spirit in you. (1 Corinthians 3:16) Be moved by Him. Follow the peace that He puts within your spirit to do or refrain from doing something. That peace is the peace of God. Acting on that peace will cause God to be exalted, and His divine goodness and kindness to really be a blessing to you and others!
