The Year of Jubilee

Leviticus 25:8 'And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years.9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land.10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.11 That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine.12 For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field.

Romans 8:17 and if children, then heirs --- heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Most Christians love and relate to the story of the prodigal son:

Luke 15:11 Then He said: "A certain man had two sons.12 And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood.13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living.14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.
17 "But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants." '
20 "And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.21 And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
22    "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.23 And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry;24 for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry.

But most Christians don’t appreciate how the father removed the curse of poverty from his prodigal son and restored to him the best robe, put a ring and sandals on his feet, killed a fatted calf and had a Jubilee!

Well Jesus said "your Jubilee has come in me".  In Christ Jesus God has removed from us all curses including the curse of poverty and  restored everything we had lost. Yes God’s heart is never for you to suffer crippling illnesses, die prematurely or live a life that is miserable. Psalm 91:16 says, “With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.” That is God’s heart for you! In the verse, the word “salvation” is the Hebrew word Yeshua, the name of Jesus. So God will satisfy you with a long life that is full of Jesus and His grace! Chronic illness, depression and a short life are not, and will never be, part of God’s plan for you. He wants you to experience a long, full life in which you walk in all the blessings of health, wholeness, provision, peace and joy that He has given you through Jesus!

The Jews knew what Jubilee entailed. They had to wait 50 years for the year of Jubilee.

During the year of Jubilee they were given back all of their land that was taken from their families.... They were able to walk back in the door and owned it once again. God gave them houses they didn't build. Yes, all the squatters were thrown out!! Praise the Lord also, all their financial debt was "wiped out" and they owed no one not even a penny!!

By the blood of Jesus Christ, by faith, we are to believe and receive "all" that he shed his blood to give his beloved children. We do not have to wait 50 years for this gift. By faith, in Christ Jesus, we are to "live" daily in his Jubilee for you and me!! God's promised land every day of our lives. His land flowing with milk and honey.

Jesus was bruised for our iniquity. Iniquity is generational curses.... Poverty is a generational curse.

God wants to supply all of our needs according to "his riches in glory" through Christ Jesus.

Yes, people can and do reject God's will.... But, it is their loss!!

Choose life.... Yes, life more abundantly!!

Stop believing the devil and thinking you are begging for something??? There are "no beggars in the kingdom of heaven". Jesus, paid in his fullness for everything on our behalf.

It is not about being "rich" to be greedy. It is about taking our limits off God's will for our life. Yes, God wants to bless us. He wants us to be able to be a blessing to others.

God never in all the accounts in the bible wanted his children poor..... In the Old Testament it was a sign to the world that you were God's holy people because you were "blessed of God"....

Just like God doesn't force us to accept his love or to love him. God never forces us to accept his blessings. God has given us free will.... We reject God.

Yes, it so  sad! The last will and testament for God's children says we are joint heirs with Christ Jesus. Sure, people can still live in poverty, in a cave, without lights and heat, freezing cold even when they have plenty of money in their bank accounts.... That analogy is how many Christians are.

In the world standard we would call that person "crazy"???

You  live like a homeless beggar and you are a millionaire???
