Prosperity: A Blessing or a Curse 

The most powerful spiritual invasion the devil will ever see is a Church that's aware of the right they have to prosper. Poverty is not God's creation. It's part of the curse and designed to destroy. Christians are blessed and empowered to prosper in every area of life, and must renew their mind with the Word of God, and what it says about prosperity.

Christians will never be free to prosper without finding out what the Word says about prosperity.

1. Without referring to the Word, Christians will continue to think there's something wrong with prosperity.

2. Satan has frightened some people into thinking there's something evil about prosperity.Money itself is not bad but the love for money is sin.
a) Because people in the world have gotten money through evil means, some people think it's evil.
b) Money does not belong to Satan; the Earth and the fullness thereof belongs to the Lord.

3. As Believers we must learn how to access the resources God provides.
a)Jesus demonstrated how to access the resources of Heaven when He supernaturally paid His taxes

Poverty is part of the curse.

1.To be cursed means you have supernatural power working against you (Deuteronomy 28:15-18, 20, 31).

2. God didn't create poverty.
a) Poverty is a result of the fall of man.
b) Poverty is Satan's creation (1 Peter 5:8).
i. Poverty ruins and destroys lives (Proverbs 10:15).
ii. Poverty robs and leaves you helpless and hopeless (Proverbs 6:9-11). iii. Satan is a thief; he's the one who robs.

3. Satan has promoted poverty by spreading lies.
a) If Satan can convince Believers to endorse poverty as a gift from God, he can rob you, and you'll believe poverty is God's will.
i. God will never endorse something that's designed to destroy.

4. Saying Jesus was poor is akin to saying He was cursed.

Jesus preached and expected faith not unbelief!

 God's Word is His will. And faith is what activates the promises of God. Jesus was the biggest Word of Faith Teacher. He majored in faith. He taught it all the time. To say that telling people faith can't guarantee answered prayer is to say that Jesus is lying or didn't really mean what He taught. Show me one time Jesus said that faith sometimes doesn't work. You cannot. Evangelicals don't preach the word of faith but the word of unbelief and as a result are devoid of miracles, signs and wonders and even prosperity!

Only deceived anemic evangelicals who deny miracles and tongues are for today  advocate that we can't take Jesus' teaching out of the context.  We  must ask who He was speaking to and under what circumstances. When the truth is Jesus faith teachings in the gospel  are for everyone and for today!  Jesus preached and expected faith not unbelief! And unbelief limited His mighty works!

Matthew 13

53    Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there.

54    When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, "Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

55    Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

56    And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?"

57    So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house."

58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Matthew 17

14    And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,

15    "Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.

16    So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him."

17    Then Jesus answered and said, "O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me."

18    And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

19    Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not cast it out?"

20    So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21    However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."

Mark 9

24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!"

Financial prosperity is not a sign of God’s blessing

 Kenneth Hagin wrote in The Midas Touch:

1. Financial prosperity is not a sign of God’s blessing. Hagin wrote: “If wealth alone were a sign of spirituality, then drug traffickers and crime bosses would be spiritual giants. Material wealth can be connected to the blessings of God or it can be totally disconnected from the blessings of God.”

2. People should never give in order to get. Hagin was critical of those who “try to make the offering plate some kind of heavenly vending machine.” He denounced those who link giving to getting, especially those who give cars to get new cars or who give suits to get new suits. He wrote: “There is no spiritual formula to sow a Ford and reap a Mercedes.”

3. It is not biblical to “name your seed” in an offering. Hagin was horrified by this practice, which was popularized in faith conferences during the 1980s. Faith preachers sometimes tell donors that when they give in an offering they should claim a specific benefit to get a blessing in return. Hagin rejected this idea and said that focusing on what you are going to receive “corrupts the very attitude of our giving nature.”

4. The “hundredfold return” is not a biblical concept. Hagin did the math and figured out that if this bizarre notion were true, “we would have Christians walking around with not billions or trillions of dollars, but quadrillions of dollars!” He rejected the popular teaching that a believer should claim a specific monetary payback rate.

5. Preachers who claim to have a “debt-breaking” anointing should not be trusted. Hagin was perplexed by ministers who promise “supernatural debt cancellation” to those who give in certain offerings. He wrote in The Midas Touch: “There is not one bit of Scripture I know about that validates such a practice. I’m afraid it is simply a scheme to raise money for the preacher, and ultimately it can turn out to be dangerous and destructive for all involved.”

(Many evangelists who appear on Christian television today use this bogus claim. Usually they insist that the miraculous debt cancellation will occur only if a person “gives right now,” as if the anointing for this miracle suddenly evaporates after the prime time viewing hour. This manipulative claim is more akin to witchcraft than Christian belief.)

Hagin condemned other hairbrained gimmicks designed to trick audiences into emptying their wallets. He was especially incensed when a preacher told his radio listeners that he would take their prayer requests to Jesus’ empty tomb in Jerusalem and pray over them there—if donors included a special love gift. “What that radio preacher really wanted was more people to send in offerings,” Hagin wrote.

STRANGE FIRE!

"AND NADAB AND ABIHU, THE SONS OF AARON, TOOK EITHER OF THEM HIS CENSER, AND PUT INCENSE THEREON, AND OFFERED STRANGE FIRE BEFORE THE LORD, WHICH HE COMMANDED THEM NOT.

AND THERE WENT OUT FIRE FROM THE LORD, AND DEVOURED THEM, AND THEY DIED BEFORE THE LORD." LEV.10:1-2.

NADAB AND ABIHU ARE THE SONS OF AARON THE PRIESTS, THEY WERE PRIESTS TOO, PRIESTS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT SACRIFICED AND BURNT INCENSE BEFORE GOD, AND TO STAND ON THE BEHALF OF ISRAEL.

ALSO, BEFORE ANY ONE COULD ENTER INTO PRIESTLY OFFICE THAT TIME, SUCH A PERSON HAS GONE THROUGH SOME DIVINE, CLEANSHINGS, AND SANCTIFICATION, SO THAT SUCH A PRIEST WILL NOT BE DEVOUR WHILE MAKING ATONEMENT BY THE FIRE OF GODS PRESENCE.

BUT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT, ALL BELIEVERS IN CHRIST HAVE ACCESS TO GOD, THROUGH JESUS. THE BIBLE SAYS JESUS HAS MADE US TO OUR GOD, HIS FATHER, KINGS AND PRIESTS. REV.1:6. AND REV.5:10. PLEASE READ.

SO WE HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO GOD THROUGH THE NAME OF JESUS, BECAUSE THE SUFFERING, DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS HAS TORN AND REMOVED THE MIDDLE WALL OF PARTITION THAT STOOD BETWEEN US AND GOD. EPH.2:14.

BUT ONE DAY, ABIHU AND NADAB OFFERED STRANGE FIRE BEFORE GOD.

THE STRANGE FIRE IS A CONTRARY BURNING DESIRES IN THE HEART OF BELIEVERS IN CHRIST TODAY, TO BE SINFUL, AND LIVES IN IMMORAL WHICH CAN LEADS TO THEIR ETERNAL DAMNATION IF UNREPENTED.

A STRANGE FIRE COULD BE DOING AN UNAUTHORISED DIVINE ASSIGNMENTS OR PROGRAMS. IT MAY BE SERVING IN A GROUP THAT IS NOT YOUR DIVINE ASSIGNMENT. FOR INSTANCE SOME PEOPLE LOVE TO BE IN CHOIR, BUT THEIR ASSIGNMENTS IS IN USHERING UNIT, SOME LOVE PRAYER GROUP BUT THEY ARE TO BE IN DRAMA GROUP! AND SOME JOIN A SERVICE GROUP BECAUSE THEIR FRIENDS SERVES THERE! AND THE LIKE. SO THEY GO ABOUT IN GODS PRESENCE WITH A STRANGE FIRE!

BECAUSE, YOU ARE NOT TO CHOOSE WHERE TO SERVE, BUT YOU ARE TO FIND OUT ABOUT GODS ORDAINED PLACE FOR YOU!

AND SO MANY MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL ARE GOING ABOUT WITH STRANGE FIRE TODAY, BECAUSE THEY RUN UNAUTHORISED PROGRAMS. A MINISTER OF GOD IS MAKING WAVES BECAUSE HE RUNS THREE DAYS BEGINNING THE MONTH OR ENDING THE MONTH WITH GOD. AND YOU ALSO STARTED OUT OF ENVY, WHEN GOD HAS NOT AUTHORIZED YOU TO DO IT. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!

THERE ARE SO MANY EVANGELISTS WHO SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE FIELD WINNING SOULS FOR CHRIST BUT HAS SUDDENLY BECOME AN ASSEMBLY PASTOR! WHY SO MANY PASTORS WANT TO BE EVANGELIST.

IN FACT THE OFFICE THAT SO MANY MINISTERS BOTH YOUNG AND OLD WANT TO BE TODAY IS A PROPHETIC OFFICE! ARE YOU A PROPHET?

THEREFORE, SO MANY PASTORS, EVANGELISTS AND TEACHERS HAS SUDDENLY CHANGE THEIR TITLE TO PROPHETS!

THAT IS WHY THERE ARE SERIOUS SPIRITUAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION TODAY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST, BECAUSE OF BELIEVERS AND MINISTERS WHO OFFERS STRANGE FIRE!

THE TRUTH IS, GOD WILL NEVER ASK FROM YOU ABOUT THE ACCOUNT OF THE ASSIGNMENT HE HAS NOT COMMANDED YOU TO DO!

THE BIBLE SAYS, JESUS GAVE SOME OF US IN THE BODY OF CHRIST, FIVE TALENTS, HE GAVE SOME OF US TWO, AND GAVE SOME OF US ONE, AND GAVE TO EVERY ONE ACCORDING TO THEIR SEVERAL ABILITY. MATT.25:14-30.

SO EVERY BODY HAS ONE ASSIGNMENT OR THE OTHER TO CARRY OUT IN THE BODY OF CHRIST.

SO IF GOD GIVES YOU A MISSION, HE GIVES YOU MESSAGE TO BACK IT UP, AND HOW TO FULFILL IT, WITHOUT DUPLICATING THE ASSIGNMENT OF ANOTHER PERSON.

EXCEPT FOR THOSE WHO ARE CALLED TO SERVE AS A MINISTER IN ANOTHER MINISTRY, YOU HAVE TO JOIN YOUR G.O, G.S OR YOUR PRESIDENTS, TO ECHO THE MINISTRY MESSAGE. YOU HAVE TO DO IT FROM YOUR HEART, BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE YOUR EARTHLY AND ETERNAL MERITS LIES.

NADAB AND ABIHU SUFFERED THE EARTHLY AND ETERNAL CONSEQUENCE, BECAUSE THEY OFFERED STRANGE FIRE!

THE SAME THING IS APPLICABLE TO OUT TIME, THOUGH WE ARE IN THE TIME OF GRACE. SO MANY JUDGMENTS ARE BEING POSTPONED UNLESS THERE IS GENUINE REPENTANCE.

GRACE DOES NOT COVER SINS, BUT POSTPONES IT, AND WATCHES MAY BE THERE WILL BE GENUINE REPENTANCE BECAUSE OF HIS PRESENCE IN YOUR LIFE!

IN THAT BOOK OF MATTHEW 25 FROM VERSE 14, THE SERVANTS WHO COLLECTED ONE TALENT AND BURIED IT FALLS INTO THE CATEGORIES OF THOSE WHO NEVER STAY ON TO DO THEIR OWN DIVINE ASSIGNMENTS THE WAY GOD HAS ORDAINED IT, BUT LOVES TO BE A DUPLICATOR.

AT THE END OF THE DAY, THIS SERVANTS ENDED UP IN CONDEMNATION!

JESUS SAID IN MATTHEW 25:30, THAT "..CAST YOU THE UNPROFITBLE SERVANTS INTO OUTER DARKNESS: THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH."

THEREFORE, ANYTHING GOD ASKED YOU TO DO, AND YOU DO IT FAITHFULLY ACCORDING TO HIS INSTRUCTIONS, WILL BRING ETERNAL PROFITS TO HEAVEN AND YOU TOO!

FINALLY, EVERY ASSIGNMENT HAS A MESSAGE TO BACK IT UP, AND HOW TO GO ABOUT IT. THERE IS A DIVINE ASSIGNMENT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU TO CARRY OUT, THERE IS A PARTICULAR SERVICE YOU ARE BE DOING IN THE BODY OF CHRIST.

DOING CONTRARY WILL AMOUNT TO YOU OFFERING STRANGE FIRE BEFORE GOD, AND IT WILL END YOU UP AS AN UNPROFITABLE SERVANT!

AND EVERY UNPROFITABLE BELIEVER WILL END UP IN HELL. MATTHEW 25:30.

The Healing Power of God

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed" (Is. 53:5, NIV).

Is there faith in your heart to believe in the message of the cross? You must believe—for in the cross, there is healing and wholeness for you.

The cross is God's plan and His provision to provide fully for fallen, hurting humanity—the whole person. Westerners like to break us up into little parts—body, soul and spirit—but Jesus' ministry touches the whole man.

There is nothing fancy or glitzy about Jesus. Isaiah says there was nothing beautiful or majestic about His appearance. He was despised and rejected by men and unrecognized for who He was—the Savior of the world!

As Jesus drew nearer and nearer to the cross, the Bible says that despite all the miraculous signs Jesus had done, most of the people still didn't believe in Him. Their eyes were blinded, their hearts were hard and they couldn't turn to the One who could heal them!

Eyes were being opened, crippled arms straightened, children raised from the dead and legions of demons being driven out, and yet most of the people who saw these things still did not see. They still did not believe! That can't be you.

There's no benefit, no life, unless we believe and appropriate all of Isaiah 53. Surely, he said, surely He took our infirmities on the cross. Absolutely, surely, when He was hanging there with His hands nailed and His feet pierced, He carried the burden of our sicknesses, our pains and our diseases. Every disease, every infirmity, every traumatic thing done, every birth defect, every heart disease, every blood disease, every form of cancer, every burn—He carried the burden of it all.

You must believe! He carried the weight of those things. Why would we want to carry it one moment longer? How dare we say, "This is my burden to bear," and belittle what Jesus did on the cross?

Don't miss Jesus. Don't miss what He has done for you. Let the cross bring complete wholeness to your broken body, soul and spirit, and be made whole.

He said, "It is finished." Your work is simply to believe and appropriate the message of the cross in your life.
