GOOD THINGS

RELIEVE EACH OTHER'S BURDENS :

Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? - Luke 19:23

The Greek word for "usury" means primarily "a bringing forth, birth, or offsprings." It is used metaphorically for the profit received by a lender.

The Law of Moses attempted to protect both borrower and lender. In Israel, borrowing and lending was not for big, commercial enterprises but rather to help the poor and needy who lacked everyday necessities. In lending, the lender had the opportunity to help the poor in need. It was an act of love in which the lender actually lifted a burden by helping his fellow Israelite through a crisis, but was forbidden to charge usury. To relieve the burden of the poor, debts were released every seven years and property restored during the year of Jubilee.

In the New Testament, the practice of lending money at interest seemed to be accepted as normal business procedure. Although Jesus never condemned interest directly, in general, He was hard on the improper attitude toward riches and on the oppression of the poor, just as was the Old Testament. The principle of making money from someone else's hardship is not really a godly way of doing business. It was permitted, and even encouraged in this instance, but Deuteronomy 23:19-20 makes it clear that interest was never to be charged to a fellow Israelite. Today, that would be equivalent to never loaning money with interest to a fellow Christian. Borrowing money is not condemned in scripture unless you interpret Romans 13:8 as speaking of borrowing. However, the scriptures make it clear that borrowing is not God's best. Deuteronomy 28:12 lists never having to borrow as a blessing, while Deuteronomy 28:44 lists borrowing as a part of the curse of the law. Proverbs 22:7 says, "The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender."

NEVER STUMBLE :

Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble. - Psalm 119:165, NKJV

Everything you need in this life is found in the Word of God-direction, healing, peace, joy and provision. No matter what situation you may be facing today, you can live in peace and victory and find your answer by studying God’s Word and applying it in your life!

Notice this verse says that the people who love God’s Word have great peace. How do you love God’s Word? By studying it, meditating on it and obeying His commands. That’s when you can walk in the fullness of His blessing. That’s when you will see His promises come to pass in your life.

When you hold God’s Word in your heart, there’s nothing that can take it away from you. There’s nothing that can make you stumble and fall. His Word is complete protection from offense, from worry, from bitterness, from fear. His Word is truth that sets you free and gives you His total peace! Love His Word and never stumble!

PURE SPIRITUAL POWER :

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. – Galatians 5:22-23

So many believers think of the fruit of the Spirit as little more than a passive list of pleasant qualities that can help improve their personalities. But they're far greater than that! They're pure spiritual power.

Love is so powerful, the scripture says, that it never fails. Patience is so powerful it cannot be stopped. No matter what the circumstances, it will not quit. Temperance is so powerful it can master all the unruly desires of your flesh.

The fruits of the Spirit are not weak; they're strong. So strong all the demons of hell can't stop them. So strong that if you'll let them flow out of you, they'll correct the problems in your life. They'll keep you steadfast when all the people around you are falling down. They'll keep you on your feet when governments fail and when the storms of life come.

We are living in dangerous days. There's only one way you can make it through in victory. You must begin to release those powerful fruits of the Spirit God has placed inside you. Believe me, if you're born again, they are there. Learn to yield to them and as 2 Peter 1:10 promised, you shall never fall!

STEP UP!

[Asa] took courage, and removed the abominable idols from all the land . . . ; and he restored the altar of the LORD. —2 Chronicles 15:8

When a woodchuck started eating our garage (well, just the trim), I bought a live trap with plans to transplant the little guy to a park. I baited it with an assortment of goodies and opened the trap door. The next morning, I was excited to see a little critter in my trap—until I noticed that it was no woodchuck. I had snared a skunk.
I went online to see how to untrap the skunk without having it . . . well, you know. The solutions were extremely cautious in their descriptions of how to protect yourself while releasing the animal. Plastic bags. Gloves. Tarps. Blankets. Goggles. The task looked daunting and dangerous.

Then my son-in-law Ewing stepped up. He simply walked over to the trap, opened the door, and coaxed our striped friend on its way with a few sprays from the garden hose.

Sometimes our fears can lead to inaction. We worry so much about protecting ourselves that we fail to simply step up. When King Asa learned that the Lord wanted him to remove the idols from Israel, he “took courage” (2 Chron. 15:8). He could have had a rebellion on his hands for doing this. But he stepped up, and as a result the nation rejoiced (v.15).

Facing a spiritual challenge? The Lord will help you step up with courage and trust Him for the outcome.

Let the road be rough and dreary,
And its end far out of sight,
Foot it bravely, strong or weary;
Trust in God and do the right.

Courage is fear that has said its prayers

FAITHFUL MAN

A FAITHFUL MAN WILL ABOUND WITH THE BLESSINGS.. Proverb 28 : 20.

Wen God has to get His works done He NEVER searches for More Talented , more Smart or more Gifted people but He looks for FAITHFUL Men ..

Our Problem is tat we look for talents , gifts & smartness in worldly sense in ppl.

Wen Paul was in his last days he told Timothy to commit the Gospel truth to the FAITHFUL MEN ( & not unto the very talented or Gifted people ). 2 Tim. 2:2.

Let it encourage u today .

U may not be tat smart , tat talented or tat Gifted person ,
u may not be able to preach or sing impressively like others ,
u may not be tat rich & influential in society ,
u may not have tat Godly influential family background

but

we can ALL have one thing by His Grace i.e FAITHFULNESS in our day to day Life..

FAITHFUL in prayer life ,
FAITHFUL in seeking God,
FAITHFUL in honoring God,
FAITHFUL in Reading God's word..

Faithful in caring for poor whoever comes on our way ,

FAITHFUL in giving God Wat Belongs to Him,

Faithful in leading A GODLY LIFE at our Work Place..

FAITHFUL in small small things ..

Bible says such Man will ABOUND With BLESSINGS ..

He will be RICHLY rewarded by God..

We dont have to worry about Gifts ..

ABILITY (Gifts) will flow as GOD Will find Us " FAITHFUL " in Every small things.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY :

“Do good to Your servant according to your word, LORD.” (Psalm 119:65)

Dear Lord God, I praise You. I honor You. The law of the Lord is perfect; reviving my soul this morning. Let the word of God fill my empty heart and bring me joy throughout the day and days ahead. May the light of God shine upon me and lead me to walk on the righteous path that guides me to reach the great reward in heaven! O God! Show me the way I should go and bless me every success in all areas of my life from this day on.

Gratefully, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen !!!
