FROM ‘DELIVERANCE’ TO ‘NO EVIL SHALL TOUCH YOU’ :
Job 5:19 - He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.
God will deliver you from all your troubles. (Psalm 34:19, 2 Timothy 4:18) But deliverance is actually not the best that God has for you because it implies that you are in trouble. God’s best for you is the place where no trouble or evil can touch you. And with His help, you will come to that place because the Bible says, “He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.”
This does not mean that God will only deliver you six times. It just means that as you keep believing God’s promises of protection, after some time, you will come to a place where no evil will touch you!
So when trouble comes, God does not want you to be discouraged. He wants you to know that it is only the devil trying to steal His Word from your heart. The devil is afraid of leaving God’s Word in your heart for even one second because he knows that it will lead you to a place where no evil will touch you. That is why he comes immediately to steal God’s Word from your heart.
He will do so by telling you, “Look, your child is sick. Where is God now?” You must not respond by saying, “Well, I guess it does not work. Maybe God’s promises of deliverance are not for my family.”
No, you must continue to stand on God’s promises. Say, “The previous flu my child had did not stay. God promises me deliverance and He did deliver my child then. So I will live life believing His promises of deliverance because His Word is true. And I will come to a place where no evil can touch me and my family!”
Beloved, even if in the next moment you happen to stub your toe against something hard, don’t be discouraged and wonder why God did not protect your toe. The devil had meant to cause greater harm to you, but thank God that he could not because God is watching over you. And keep standing on His promises until you come to the place where no evil will touch you!

KEEP CLIMBING THAT MOUNTAIN … YOUR DUE SEASON OF HARVEST IS ON ITS WAY !!!
Galatians chapter six warns us not to grow weary in well doing. If we do, we might miss our due season of harvest. As I was meditating on that scripture, I was thinking about all the kids going back to school, and how sometimes, they get anxious or weary about it. But really, everyone gets weary about the learning process at times, especially when we think it’s something we already know.
Sometimes we give ourselves credit for knowing things, but when we go through an experience that causes us to apply that knowledge, we discover we are in uncharted territory. For example, reading about mountain or learning about mountain climbing is very different from actually climbing a mountain. You might think you know what to do until you actually do it! Putting into practice what we’ve learned is what causes us to rise higher. And sometimes, we have to go around the mountain again before we are ready to rise up to that new level!
I can remember times when I’ve gone around the mountain of learning and then walked right into another level of increase in my life. I could tangibly feel in my spirit what the Lord had done. When I think about those times, I am reminded that we must never grow weary in the learning process. We must never grow weary in obtaining knowledge. We must never grow tired of improving ourselves or our relationships and becoming all that God has created us to be.
Anytime you feel tempted to quit because you don’t think you are getting anywhere, remember that oftentimes, we have to grow in the unseen realm before we grow in the seen realm. We grow spiritually, we grow emotionally, we increase in wisdom and maturity before those doors of opportunity open before us. Don’t ever get tired of learning the lessons. Sometimes we have to learn the same ones over and over, but that’s when it sticks and we are equipped to grow to another level. Remember, you can’t fail if you don’t quit! Stay in the process and keep climbing that mountain of learning because your due season of harvest is on its way!
“Let the wise listen and add to their learning. . .” (Proverbs 1:5, NIV)
DIVORCE IS NOT GOD'S BEST :
And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him. - Mark 10:2-6
The Pharisees didn't really want to know what Jesus taught on divorce and remarriage. They didn't value His opinion but were tempting Him and desired to get Him mired in the big dispute of their day between liberal and conservative views on divorce. This was a very emotional issue then, just as it is today, and they thought they had Jesus in a "no win" situation.
However, as always, Jesus proved to be more than their match and He gave them much more than they asked for.
The Pharisees didn't question whether or not divorce was right. They took the right to divorce for granted. But Jesus, instead of expounding on acceptable grounds for divorce, went to the very root of the problem and showed that God never intended there to be any divorce at all. If they really understood the extent of the one flesh covenant between a man and his wife, they would not be looking for an excuse to get out of marriage. This approach amazed the Pharisees and brough forth the question "why did Moses in the law make provision for divorce?"
Once a person begins to question, "How can I get a divorce?" instead of, "How can I keep this marriage together?" indicates, that there is already a serious breach in the marriage, that Jesus calls a hardened heart.
Jesus answered that divorce was permitted but never intended. God allowed something that He hated because of the hardness of people's hearts. This was also true of polygamy and slavery. Jesus came to remove our stony heart and give us a heart of flesh so that we could walk in God's best for us.
SEE YOURSELF RISEN WITH JESUS :
Constantly keep in mind Jesus Christ, the Messiah, [as] risen from the dead. – 2 Timothy 2:8
This is the key to holding onto the blessings of God. When pressure comes, when troubles and trials are bearing down on you, remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead!
Remember that when Jesus arose, you arose. When He came out of hell and defeated the enemy, you came out of hell and defeated the enemy. His victory is your victory because you're in Him.
In the hard places, remember that. When the devil tells you you're not going to get your answer this time, remember that. When he tells you there's no way out, you remember Christ, the Anointed One, the Victorious Conqueror, risen from the dead and seated at the right hand of the Father!
If there's an image Satan hates more than any other, it must be that image of Jesus, rising from the dead, stripping him forever of his authority, and openly displaying his defeat to all of heaven and hell. That's the picture you need to keep in the forefront of your mind. Think about it until it's etched into your heart so deeply that nothing Satan says or does can get it out of you.
That's when the gifts of God will be established in your life. That's when the devil won't be able to talk you out of your inheritance with trials and tribulations. Keep in mind Jesus Christ, risen from the dead!
LOVE YOUR CHURCH - JESUS DOES! (8) :
'...after you have suffered a while, [may God] perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.' 1 Peter 5:10 NKJV
It took seven years to build Solomon's temple. In Scripture the number seven represents completion. So when it comes to your 'position' in Christ, you're as saved right now as you'll be when you stand in Heaven. When Jesus cried, 'It is finished', everything required to reconcile you to God was completed. The word 'complete' means lacking nothing. And when you put your trust in Jesus, that's how God sees you. When He positions you in Christ, 'You are complete in Him.' (Colossians 2:10 NKJV) You say, 'But I still sin.' The Bible says, 'We all... beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image...by the Spirit of the Lord.' (2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV) Did you get that? The Holy Spirit is at work in your life every day, in every way, moulding you into the image of Jesus. God's ultimate plan for you is greater than you can comprehend. Jude writes, 'Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy... be glory and majesty.' (Jude 1:24-25 KJV) Note the words 'Him that is able'. This is something Christ does for you, not something you do for yourself! And one of the tools He uses to bring about your perfection (maturity) is trouble. Peter writes, 'May the God of all grace, who has called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.' It may take a while, but you'll get there!
FOLLOWING THE MASTER
At the command of the LORD they remained encamped, and at the command of the Lord they journeyed. —Numbers 9:23
At a dog show near my home, I watched a Cardigan Welsh corgi named Trevor perform. At his master’s command, he ran several yards away and immediately returned, he jumped fences, and he identified objects using his sense of smell. After finishing each exercise, he sat down at his master’s feet and waited for more instructions.
Trevor’s careful attention to his master’s instruction reminded me of the devotion God desired from His people as they followed Him through the wilderness. God led in a unique way. His presence appeared as a cloud. If the cloud ascended, He wanted His people to move to another area. If the cloud descended, they were to stay put. “At the command of the LORD they remained encamped, and at the command of the LORD they journeyed” (Num. 9:23). The Israelites followed this practice day or night, regardless of how long they had to remain in one place.
God wasn’t simply testing the Israelites; He was leading them to the Promised Land (10:29). He wanted to take them to a better place. So it is with us when God asks us to follow Him. He wants to lead us to a place of closer fellowship with Himself. His Word assures us that He is loving and faithful in leading those who humbly follow Him.
In fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.
God asks His children to follow the Leader.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY :
“You open Your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.” (Psalm 145:16)
Dear Lord God, I praise You. I honor You. I see Your face in every sunrise. Your smile shines through the clouds with radiant sunlight. You brighten up the world and light up my life.May God clothe me with the garments of salvation and renew my strength each day like the morning dews! Let the love of God pour out on me lavishly for I am Your chosen servant and wonderfully made child.
