WITH US

The LORD Of Hosts Is With Us

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear,  Even though the earth be removed,  And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;  Though its waters roar and be troubled,  Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,  The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.  God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;  God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. Psalm 46:1-5

There is no one and nothing greater than God, who is for and not against His trusting ones. Just think of it, the God who created heaven and earth is the refuge, strength and very present help in time of trouble of His trusting ones. He shall help them and that right early. Mind you God doesn’t think like a man or does things the ways men do things. He has a wisdom, understanding and knowledge that are beyond those of men. Nevertheless the God who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, and restored all things back to Him is for and with His trusting ones. He will do if need be greater miracles for them for He is their God!

God’s true remnant soldiers do not march alone or to their own tune. They march to God’s tune and serve Him in spirit and in truth. They desire all of His truth and hunger for it as one hungers for real food.  The health His truth brings runs true to all God promises to His children. His life is health to their very bones. It is healing and covenant blessings. It is strength in the midst of the storm. It is victory in battle. It is courage in the face of the enemy—mainly man. It is wisdom in the hour of debate or moment of truth.

But, can God lie? No, He cannot! His promises are irrevocable. They cannot be changed or deterred from their purpose and intent. He is the God of integrity and Truth and The Law. He has established the covenants He promised to Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus and all who follow Him.  He has a covenant with the heirs of the Promise. His word is true:

“And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you. “Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” Genesis 17:7-9

“Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.  “Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him.

“But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.   “For My Angel will go before you and bring you in to the Amorites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hivites and the Jebusites; and I will cut them off.

“You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their works; but you shall utterly overthrow them and completely break down their sacred pillars.  “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.  “No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.

“I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.   “And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite from before you. Exodus 23:20-28

Hence God’s true ones are to walk in their new inheritance in Christ.  For when they have accepted Christ and surrendered all to Him, they have inherited the New Jerusalem. The bounty of the Rainbow Jesus Christ is theirs with all the benefits and provisions that are promised in its covenant.

God has made a covenant with His people to be God to them and their descendants after them. He has promised in the covenant that if they would indeed obey His voice and do all that He would speak to them, then He will be an enemy to their enemies and an adversary to their adversaries.

They shall serve the LORD their God, and He will bless their bread and water. He will take sickness away from the midst of them. None shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in their land and He will fulfill the number of their days.  He will be an enemy to their enemies and an adversary to their adversaries.   His word is unchanging:

"If any of you are driven out to the farthest parts under heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you.

"Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.

"And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.

"Also the LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you. Deuteronomy 30:4-7

Fear not, for I am with you;  Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,  I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

"Behold, all those who were incensed against you  Shall be ashamed and disgraced;  They shall be as nothing,  And those who strive with you shall perish.  You shall seek them and not find them- Those who contended with you. Those who war against you  Shall be as nothing,   As a nonexistent thing.  For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand,  Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.' Isaiah 41:10-13

All those who were incensed against God’s trusting ones shall be ashamed and disgraced and they shall be as nothing. And those who strive with them shall perish.  Those who contended with them, those who war against them shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing.  An enemy cannot be more nothing then when he or she becomes a nonexistent thing? Yet this is what God has promised to do to the enemies of His trusting ones including put all the negative curses on those who hate and persecute them! Yet His word is unchanging:

"Then I said to you, 'Do not be terrified, or afraid of them. 'The LORD your God, who goes before you, He will fight for you, according to all He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, Deuteronomy 1:29-30

"When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.

"So it shall be, when you are on the verge of battle, that the priest shall approach and speak to the people.  "And he shall say to them, 'Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them;  'for the LORD your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.' Deuteronomy 20:1-4

"There is no one like the God of Jeshurun,  Who rides the heavens to help you, And in His excellency on the clouds.  The eternal God is your refuge,  And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, 'Destroy!'   Then Israel shall dwell in safety, The fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine;  His heavens shall also drop dew.
Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD,  The shield of your help And the sword of your majesty!  Your enemies shall submit to you,  And you shall tread down their high places." Deuteronomy 33:26-29
