PROVIDER

The Lord Is The Great Provider

And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, "In the Mount of The LORD it shall be provided."

Then the Angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, and said: "By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son-  "blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. "In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice." Genesis 22:14-18

Now the LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons." 1 Samuel 16:1

God has never lost His ability to provide for the needs of His people nor for Himself. This is something which He proved when He brought the children of Israel out of Egypt.  God's word records:

The children of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows,  Turned back in the day of battle. They did not keep the covenant of God;  They refused to walk in His law,  And forgot His works  And His wonders that He had shown them.  Marvelous things He did in the sight of their fathers,  In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.  He divided the sea and caused them to pass through;  And He made the waters stand up like a heap. In the daytime also He led them with the cloud,  And all the night with a light of fire.  He split the rocks in the wilderness,  And gave them drink in abundance like the depths.  He also brought streams out of the rock,  And caused waters to run down like rivers. Psalm 78:9-17

Over and over again God demonstrated to His people His ability to provide for all their needs physical and spiritual. He made a way where there is no way in the Red Sea and destroyed their enemies for them in the same sea. He led them with a cloud by day and a fire by night. He brought streams out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers. Yet they sinned even more against Him by rebelling against the Most High in the wilderness. They tested God in their heart by asking for the food of their fancy. The bible records:

Yes, they spoke against God:  They said, "Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?  Behold, He struck the rock,  So that the waters gushed out,  And the streams overflowed. Can He give bread also?  Can He provide meat for His people?" Therefore the LORD heard this and was furious;  So a fire was kindled against Jacob,  And anger also came up against Israel,  Because they did not believe in God,  And did not trust in His salvation.  Yet He had commanded the clouds above,  And opened the doors of heaven, Had rained down manna on them to eat,  And given them of the bread of heaven. Men ate angels' food;  He sent them food to the full.  He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens;  And by His power He brought in the south wind.  He also rained meat on them like the dust,  Feathered fowl like the sand of the seas;  And He let them fall in the midst of their camp,  All around their dwellings.

So they ate and were well filled,  For He gave them their own desire.  They were not deprived of their craving;  But while their food was still in their mouths,  The wrath of God came against them,  And slew the stoutest of them,  And struck down the choice men of Israel. In spite of this they still sinned, AND did not believe in His wondrous works. Psalm 78:19-32

God is able to provide but will they believe and trust God to provide?  Or will they work out their own solutions and answers and only add sin to sin. For men believe what they want to believe and they do what they want to do. But God's word remains true:

"Woe to the rebellious children," says the LORD,  "Who take counsel, but not of Me,  And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin;  Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice,  To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh,  And to trust in the shadow of Egypt!   Therefore the strength of Pharaoh  Shall be your shame,  And trust in the shadow of Egypt  Shall be your humiliation. Isaiah 30:1-3

Those who take counsel but not of God and who devise plans but not of His Spirit are rebellious children who only add sin to sin. As a result they shall be ashamed and humiliated when God moves against them as He has promised to do. For His word is true:

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help,  And rely on horses,  Who trust in chariots because they are many,  And in horsemen because they are very strong, But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel,  Nor seek the LORD! Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster,  And will not call back His words,  But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of those who work iniquity.

Now the Egyptians are men, and not God;  And their horses are flesh, and not spirit.  When the LORD stretches out His hand,  Both he who helps will fall,  And he who is helped will fall down;  They all will perish together. Isaiah 31:1-3

This is greatest hour in earth's history. For never in the history of mankind has circumstance so come together for victory or for freedom. The army of heaven is being marshaled and the battle is pending but before the battle will be great rejoicing and celebrating. The children will be given a time and a season of respite from the storm and the harmony of the Lord will descend upon all and bring healing, miracles and change.  For supernatural change is far more important than any other change. It is a change from the heart. It is a change from the Spirit. It is a change from the carnal. It is a permanent and total change. This change will raise up vast numbers in the army of the LORD and bring the battle to a head. It will unify the LORD’s forces and sanctify them for the battle.

Sweeping vast changes are on its way. Like the whirlwinds be it, it will devastate the status quo and rock the earth to its very foundations. Time is of no importance to God. Time is a thing God has  created for man to live by but time is irrelevant to God .  Nevertheless He is moving across the earth an mobilizing His great army. It is rising from the ashes of what once was. He is changing the land and the people. New faces are rising up from the ashes. Rising as from a great inferno. Rising to greet the new day for it has dawned. For never in the history of men has there ever been such a move upon the earth. Never from the beginning or ever will be again. This is the move of the final hour.

The warriors will be great and have much to do. The battle lines are drawing up and the war is about to begin but not before the church is purged and sanctified and glorified. It must walk where Jesus walked. It must do what He did. It must see what He sees. It must know what He knows. And when it is all finished, the bride must be reunited with the bridegroom. And those who are ready, with their lamps trimmed, will enter into the holy of holies with Jesus.
