Take Heed How You Hear
And He said, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that 'Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.' Luke 8:10
"For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him." Luke 8:17-18
The desires of God for each one of His children is that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith; that they, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that they may be filled with all the fullness of God.
In other words God’s desire is that they might experientially know the love of Christ which passes knowledge and be filled with all the fullness of God and not be intellectual fools devoid of God’s power.
Unfortunately for them, the emphasis amongs many Carnal Christians is on understanding and having correct doctrine and being in control of things rather than having experientially all that God has for them and God being in control of them.
Yes, eternal life is not knowledge of God but knowing God for God's word is unchanging:
"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:15-23
Apostle Paul emphasis was not on knowledge of doctrine but on an experience of God including having the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of the Father of God glory. Yes, they were to know things such as the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward those who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
The most important doctrine in the bible comes from an experiential position – “And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved” (Act 2:21). The word “save” comes from the Greek word “sozo,” which means the complete salvation for the spirit, soul and body. God desires that people be whole body, soul and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23) and we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).
Yes, each and every person can and must come to a personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ and dependence on the Holy Spirit. And only those who do are truly "born again" and are the “sons of God” (Romans 8:14). Divine healing and deliverance are necessary and vital dimensions to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Jesus still heals and delivers His people and makes them whole (Psalm 103:1-5). Jesus Christ still baptizes His followers in or with the Holy Spirit and that all may receive His word of grace and power. The Holy Spirit leads, guides, and speaks to the church and that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active and vital to all generations of believers. God’s word is unchanging:
Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call." And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation." Acts 2:38-40
"So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Acts 20:32
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption- 1 Corithians 1:30
Yes, through Christ Jesus who is our righteousness, sanctification and redemption, God is able to redeem and sanctify us completely and preseve blamelessly our whole spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). But we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will? God’s word is unchanging:
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. Matthew 18:18-20
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebres 10:23-31
Expect The Impossible
By Maria Magruder
This is the hour of the things, which have not been seen in the past or present to manifest. The things that appear to man to be impossible, will now emerge into the natural realm, according to your faith. According to your faith, so be it, for faith is a force, faith does the impossible, faith moves God to perform His promises and Words to you that He has spoken for all these weeks, months or maybe even years. Faith pursues your destiny. It is a pursuer of all God has promised you. For it is in faith that lies the victory, that overcomes the world.
Expect to see the impossible, I heard the Lord say. Expect to see the impossible begin to manifest in your life, in your ministry, in your businesses. For God desires to do more exceedingly abundantly, above ALL you could ever ask of Him or above all you could ever even think! (Eph 3:20) Allow your thoughts to go BIG. Expand your thinking, expand your tent pegs. Go beyond your mindset, to the mind of Christ, where nothing is impossible with Him. Stretch yourself in faith; stretch yourself in vision, for whatever you have in your heart to do for the Kingdom of God, He has something much grander, much larger, and much greater in mind for you. Be sure and ask in faith, believing you have received already, not doubting or wavering, lest that person shall not receive anything. God is calling you to a higher level of expectancy in everything you do. Settle for nothing less than the power of God in every area of your life. God is a liberal giver, and gives without reproach.
Expect to see the impossible emerge in your life. What has been impossible in the past is possible. Mission possible. The mission became possible 2000 years ago on the cross, which Jesus laid His life down and raised again, paralyzing the devil, and his little imps. Expect to see the impossible in your life turn to possible. For this is a turn around period for His children and those who are sons and daughters of the Most High, who are about to reveal the glory of God. Those things that have not moved in your life, that have been a wall, a barrier or a dead end, will turn around, as you continue to obey the voice of God in everything you do. Do everything by the Spirit, live and have your being in the anointing. For everything you need is in the anointing. For it is by His Spirit, and not by our own power or might.
This is the hour my friends where the blessings of God will hunt you down! As you make His Word the ultimate authority and final say in your life concerning His commandments and His promises to you, the blessings of God overtake you. Angles have already been released with blessings for you, the sons and daughters of God. They are on a mission to hunt you down and deliver the blessing no matter where you are- they will find you.
Duet 28:2 “And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God.”
For once again, you are entering a season of simultaneously sowing and reaping. This is the hour when the plowman will overtake the reaper. You will see results to your prayer life, quickly. Sow into Him and approach Him with thanksgiving for all that you have requested of Him, and watch them come to you ever so quickly. For there is acceleration in the Spirit realm that is and will directly affect the things of the natural.
Amos 9:13 (The Jerusalem Bible) “The days are coming NOW-it is Yahweh who speaks-when harvest will follow directly after plowing, the treading of grapes soon after sowing, when the mountains will run with new wine and the hills all flow with it.
Expect the impossible. Expect to see the things that you haven’t been able to shake or move, as you speak the word of faith, to move, it will move. Faith is the key to the supernatural. With faith you can go to the throne in confidence and boldness requesting whatever you need, KNOWING you have received it. For God desires to equip you with all you need in this last hour, from your personal needs to the things of building His Kingdom. For you have been commissioned to global impact, you have been commissioned to a mission, a mission that is possible with Him. The mission He has given you and ordained for you my friend, is “mission possible”.
It is a time for occupying, for the Church to occupy what has been stolen by the devil and take it back. It is time to take your place. The Church will bind the strong man, and rob his house. The Church will be the sign that will cause the world to wonder, because of the resources that are about to be released into the Churches hands. Ask BIG, ask beyond what your mind can comprehend, ask for the surplus. Ask for mantles, ask for anointings, as for ministry giftings, for God will give you all these things, and give them to you liberally, for He is a liberal giver.
So, what can you expect? You can expect for ministries that have been un-heard of to emerge overnight with signs and wonders. For ministries that are already established to not just go to another level in the spirit, but to jump levels, bypass levels, and going for a quantum leap. Expect every circumstance that looks impossible now to turn around quickly. Within 6 months for many will be a huge turn around in finances. Expect your prophetic destiny to manifest, and call it forth. Expect miracles like never before. Expect miraculous healings like never before. Expect sign’s and wonder’s that all of earth has never seen. Expect global impact, for it is a global commissioning. Expect global revival. Expect that Jesus is coming soon.
