DOUBTS

YOUR TIME IS COMING :

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time...though it tarry, wait for it.” - (Habakkuk 2:3, KJV)

If you’ve been standing in faith for the promises of God, I want you to know today that your time is coming! The dreams and desires in your heart, the things you want to accomplish, the situations you want to see changed will happen. Don’t give up just because it has taken a long time, or just because you’ve tried and failed.

I encourage you today — get your fire back! Don’t be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. It may be taking a long time, but God is a faithful God. No matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible it looks, if you’ll stay in faith, your time is coming. Every dream that’s in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God not only put it there, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass.

Declare today, “My time is coming...God is working behind the scenes on my behalf...I will fulfill my destiny...I will fulfill the plan God has for my life!” As you declare, expect, and wait for the appointed time, your faith will grow. Your hope will grow. And you’ll step into the destiny God has in store for you!

SUIT UP!

“Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” - (Ephesians 6:13, NLT)

God has fully equipped you today with everything you need to stand strong in the midst of any battle you may be facing. He’s provided His full armor to protect your heart and mind, and empower you for victory! Ephesians 6:14–17 tells us about God’s spiritual armor — He’s given us the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith which stops the fiery darts of the enemy, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. You put on the armor by receiving the truth of His righteousness, peace, and salvation through His Word. When you do this, you are fully protected to resist the enemy and stand firm.

Remember, your battle is not against flesh and blood. People aren’t the enemy. Your adversary is the devil. The good news is that God holds victory in store for the upright! As you put on His armor by faith you will be positioned to receive His victory all the days of your life!

DON’T PUT IT OFF :

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”
(Psalm 118:24, NIV)

Many people are waiting for their circumstances to change in order to be happy and enjoy their lives. All the time I hear things like, “As soon as I get out of this problem, I’ll be happy.” “As soon as I lose ten pounds...as soon as my business grows...as soon as my child straightens up...” No, if you don’t put your foot down and decide to be happy right now, there will always be something to keep you from being happy.

God never intended for us to put off our happiness. We have a choice to make each and every day. We have to set our minds in the right direction. That’s why David said, “This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.” He was saying, “This is the day to be happy; not tomorrow, not when the weather clears up. Not next week, when I don’t have to work so hard. Not next month, when I make it through this difficult time.” No, choose to honor the Lord right now by choosing to enjoy your life. Get rid of the excuses and rejoice because this is the day that the Lord has made!

 YOUR DOUBTS DON'T DISQUALIFY YOU

'...Do not be unbelieving, but believing.' John 20:27 NKJV

The Bible says: 'Now Thomas...one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands...and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace to you!" Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing." And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"' (John 20:24-28 NKJV)

The miracle in this story is not that Christ could walk through a closed door and suddenly materialise in their presence. That's impressive. What's even more impressive is that Christ would show up to talk to a doubter! The fact is, Jesus was not even in the room eight days earlier when Thomas expressed his doubts to the other disciples. But 'The Lord knows the thoughts of man...' (Psalm 94:11 NKJV) Some of us would have looked at Thomas and thought, 'Write him off, he's not qualified to be a disciple.' Not Jesus. He recognised an honest heart and a seeking soul, and He showed up to answer his questions.

Your doubts don't disqualify you! Just take them to the Lord in prayer, and when you leave His presence you'll be saying, 'My Lord and my God.'

GOD HEARS YOUR PRAYERS

The Lord…hears the prayer of the righteous. - Proverbs 15:29

In her sadness and aguish, a barren woman went to the temple of God to pray. Weeping, she poured out her heart to God. She didn’t pray audibly, moving only her lips as she talked to God about her request for a child.

When the temple’s priest saw the way she prayed, he assumed that she was drunk and promptly admonished her. She had to tell him that she wasn’t drunk, and that in her sorrow she was pouring out her soul to God.

The priest then told her, “Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him” (1 Samuel 1:17). It wasn’t long after that this woman, Hannah, conceived and bore a son, Samuel. Inaudible or soft as her prayer was, God heard it and fulfilled her wish for a child!

Beloved, it’s not about how long or short, how loudly or softly you pray, butwho you pray to that matters. Today, when you pray, be conscious that you have the ear and attention of your heavenly Father, who so loves you and hears your prayers because you are righteous in Christ. And if He loves you enough to give you heaven’s best—Jesus, how will He not with Jesus also freely give you all things (Romans 8:32)?

BLESSED IS EVERYTHING THAT COMES FORTH FROM YOU :

DEUTERONOMY 28:4 - Blessed shall be the fruit of your body…

The Bible records that Jesus’ spit healed a blind man (Mark 8:23–25),
Peter’s shadow healed the sick (Acts 5:15), and handkerchiefs and aprons from Paul’s body drove out evil spirits and diseases. (Acts19:11–12) This tells us that what comes forth from our bodies can be so blessed that it brings about blessings and miracles to others.

Indeed, God said, “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body…” He was not just referring to your children, or He would have simply said, “Blessed shall be your children.” No, God meant that everything that proceeds from your body will be blessed. All that is of and from your body will be of top-notch quality!

This includes your health. So even if your doctor has said that you have a particular medical condition in your body, just believe that God calls your health, the fruit of your body, blessed. And expect to walk continuously in divine health!

God calls your thinking ability, the fruit of your body, blessed too. You will impress your teachers and schoolmates in school with your mental prowess, or your superiors and colleagues at work with your innovative ideas and solutions. Your mental faculties will be of quality par excellence!

If you are a parent, God calls your children, the fruit of your body, blessed. This means that they are special, having exceptional qualities. So the child you are taking care of is not just a child. You are holding a champion in your hands. He will grow up to be a general in God’s kingdom!

Beloved, because Jesus has paid the price—His body was beaten, scourged and pierced for you, all these blessings are yours. Blessed shall be the fruit of your body!

OUR DEBTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED :

Luke 4:19, "To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

This scripture had been written prophetically by the prophet Isaiah about 650 years prior to this time. It was read in Jewish synagogues thousands of times. But the one this verse was speaking of had never spoken it before. With this pronouncement, Jesus began the year of Jubilee.

The Year of Jubilee was described in Leviticus 25. It was a year when everyone left their fields unworked and kept a sabbath unto the Lord. The Lord gave the people a miraculous provision the year before this jubilee started that sustained them for three years until their crops could once again be harvested.

This jubilee was different than the other sabbatical years in that every debt was cancelled. All property was returned to its original owner and anyone who had been sold into slavery was set free. It was a year of new beginnings.

Jesus proclaimed a spiritual jubilee. We now live in a time when all our debts to God have been cancelled and all the things the devil stole from us have been returned. Even our slavery to the devil has come to an end through the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a time for rejoicing.

Jesus is our jubilee.
