Nothing To Do, Only Believe
28… “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” 29Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” John 6:28–29
When I was a young Christian, I attended a seminar on what we must do to “work the works of God”. I was told that we had to pray more, fast more, know our enemy and so on. I came away from the seminar confused. Then one day, I found the same question in the Bible. But the answer was very different!
In the Gospel of John, we find Jesus being asked the same question by the multitude who had been awed by His miracles — “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” The people had seen Jesus healing the sick, and feeding 5,000 men with only five loaves and two fish.
Notice how Jesus answered them: “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” My friend, the greatest doing is believing — believing in Jesus the sent one, who has done it all for you at the cross!
If you are asking, “What must I do to receive my healing?” the answer is this: Believe in Jesus, who “Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses”. (Matthew 8:17) We have seen members of our church delivered from life-threatening conditions such as cancer and kidney failure. They had simply believed that Jesus bore their diseases on His own body. There was nothing for them to do, except to believe.
When the jailer asked Paul and Silas, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:30–31) The greatest miracle in your life happens not by you working and trying to save yourself, but by you simply believing in Jesus who died to save you from eternal damnation and to give you eternal life. Why then, should the lesser miracles of healing or financial breakthroughs be any different?
Beloved, what is the miracle you need today? There is nothing left for you to do, but everything for you to believe, because Jesus has done it all for you!

EVERYTHING IS MADE BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT IN HIS TIMING
Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Everything has a season.. a time for everything under the heaven is decided by the LORD.... His timings are always perfect....
He knows what to give and WHEN to give....you may be in a need of certain breakthroughs in your life... for instance, you may be waiting for a promotion, a financial growth, or may be a relationship.... you may say to me that your friends are getting married but you are still single... you may feel that u r getting old..... but remember that the LORD is always on time...
see my dear, the LORD has planned everything perfectly for you even before He laid the earth's foundation.... do u think that the LORD is unaware of what u need...???? come on!! He is ALMIGHTY, OMNISCIENT GOD.. He is so concerned even about the number of hair in ur head... then how much more He is concerned about all ur needs and necessities...
As He told in JEREMIAH 29:11, He knows what He is doing in your life in order to prosper u and to give u an awesome future... all u need to do is to cast ur cares and needs upon Him.... and He will give u what u need, of sure, in His perfect timing....Amen...
When He brings everything to pass, I am sure that u ll stand in awe of His awesome Love towards u.....
EVERYTHING IS DIVINELY PLANNED
Romans 8:28 KJV - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Does your mind asks u the following questions?? Why all these things happen to me..? Why am I going through this situation right now? Does
GOD really cares me??? Why then my life is like this?? Why ...why .... why... The why...s may be many... but the answer is "IT IS ALL FOR YOUR GOOD" ... You may ask me 'if it is for my good, then why it hurts?'
My dear beloved, the LORD is ready to bless u with the awesome things.... but before that He wants u to get molded...
For instance, u can't gift a 5 yr old a bike to ride... that child may ask u that.... but u know when to give and what to give... being a human, u try ur best to give ur child the best... then how much more the LORD would have in store for you...
Now the things u go through may seem so odd for u... but trust me... its all for your good.... I tell u the day is coming... the day in which u ll exclaim "wow!! All things worked for my good... GOD IS AWESOME"... My dear beloved... CHRIST really cares for u... so just stop worrying and keep praising.... and see the miracles getting manifested...
GOD BLESS U ONE AND ALL.
RIGHT BELIEVING PRODUCES RIGHT LIVING :
LUKE 19:8 - Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.”
Zacchaeus was a tax collector. He was despised because he was a deceitful man, cheating people of their money and resorting to false accusations to get what he wanted.
One day, Jesus visited him. The Bible makes no mention of Jesus rebuking him for his dishonest lifestyle the whole time they were together. Instead, Jesus showed him grace and honor by spending time with him. Before long, Zacchaeus stood up and declared to Jesus that he would restore fourfold to anyone he had taken from illegally, and would even give half of his goods to the poor.
A moment with Jesus completely changed Zacchaeus’ heart. A moment with grace in person—without accusations, condemnation or judgment—caused such an inward transformation that in a short time, Zacchaeus was doing outwardly what was right and in a measure no man would have expected of him!
Many people want to live right. Their concern with right living makes them focus on themselves and the things they struggle with. But it is right believing that produces right living. If you are trying to break free from an addiction that has bound you for many years, believe that Jesus loves you so much that at the cross, He paid the price for you to be completely free from any addiction. Believe that by His stripes you are healed and delivered.
One member in our church had a smoking addiction. But each time he lit up a cigarette, he would believe that God was not judging or condemning him, and that he was still the righteousness of God in Christ. One day, he woke up impressed by the Spirit that that day would mark the start of a smoke-free life. Expecting to be assaulted by the usual cravings to smoke, he prayed this throughout the day: “Thank You, Jesus, for by Your stripes I am healed.” Before he knew it, the day passed without him lighting up or suffering any withdrawal pangs! And since then, he has been totally free of this addiction.
Today, if you want to experience right living, find out what Christ has done for you and what you have in Him—and believe it!
GOD IS THE GREATEST GIVER :
John 4:10, "Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water."
Jesus asked this woman for a drink of water, but it wasn't water He was interested in. He wanted to give this woman eternal life.
God is the greatest giver there ever was. He lives to give. When He asks something of us we can be assured that it is only so He can multiply it and give it back to us.
God is not interested in the water we can give Him. We don't have anything to offer God that He doesn't already have. God wants us. And by asking us to give of our time and money or desires, He is really asking us to give ourselves.
Many a person has walked away from God sad, like the rich young ruler because all they could think about was what they would have to give up (Mk. 10:22). All of our achievements and possessions are nothing compared to what God offers us in exchange.
Just as Jesus turned this woman's attention toward what He had to offer her, we need to focus our attention on what the Lord has given us in Christ. He is no fool who gives up what he can not keep to receive what he cannot lose.
