MY SALVATION

Salvation Is Of The Lord

"I will sing to the LORD,  For He has triumphed gloriously!  The horse and its rider  He has thrown into the sea!  The LORD is my strength and song,  And He has become my salvation;  He is my God, and I will praise Him;  My father's God, and I will exalt Him. The LORD is a man of war;  The LORD is His name.  Exodus 15:1-3

But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;  He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them;  He shall deliver them from the wicked,  And save them,  Because they trust in Him. Psalm 37:39-40

Now some religionists, to their own hurt and demise, limit the word “salvation” to mean that their soul is “saved.” But God has not limited the word salvation to one single area, for He provides for those who believe salvation for the body, soul and spirit.   His word is unchanging:

Bless the LORD, O my soul,  And forget not all His benefits:  Who forgives all your iniquities,  Who heals all your diseases,  Who redeems your life from destruction,  Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,  Who satisfies your mouth with good things,  So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.  The LORD executes righteousness  And justice for all who are oppressed. Psalm 103:2-6

Now the Greek word “be saved” is “swqhsin” which comes from the Greek word “sozo”  from a primary sos (contraction for obsolete saoz, "safe")  Sozo is defined as to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction, one (from injury or peril),  to save a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health, to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue.

So God, through His word, has the ability to make well, heal, restore to health, to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue those who believe and accept His word with patience?

He is our God and our friend and in Him is all we need or desire. He has trust, peace, rest, joy, long-suffering, hope, love, goodness and financial provisions. He  has all we need and we  will see the manifestation of these harvests, as we keep in quiet trust. Because we  will reap in due season as God’s word is true:

"My heart rejoices in the LORD;  My horn is exalted in the LORD.  I smile at my enemies,  Because I rejoice in Your salvation.  "No one is holy like the LORD,  For there is none besides You,  Nor is there any rock like our God.  "Talk no more so very proudly;  Let no arrogance come from your mouth,  For the LORD is the God of knowledge; And by Him actions are weighed.

"The bows of the mighty men are broken,  And those who stumbled are girded with strength. Those who were full have hired themselves out for bread,  And the hungry have ceased to hunger.  Even the barren has borne seven,  And she who has many children has become feeble.

"The LORD kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. The LORD makes poor and makes rich;  He brings low and lifts up.  He raises the poor from the dust  And lifts the beggar from the ash heap,  To set them among princes  And make them inherit the throne of glory.  "For the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S,  And He has set the world upon them.

He will guard the feet of His saints,  But the wicked shall be silent in darkness.  "For by strength no man shall prevail.   The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken in pieces;  From heaven He will thunder against them.  The LORD will judge the ends of the earth.  "He will give strength to His king,  And exalt the horn of His anointed." 1 Samuel 2:1-10

There is no salvation  like the Lord provides to His own. He girds with  strength those who stumble, gives bread to the hunger, and makes the barren to have children.  He makes alive, brings up and makes rich. He raises the poor from the dust  and lifts the beggar from the ash heap to set them among princes  and make them inherit the throne of glory.  For the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S.

Hence God guards the feet of His saints and exalts the horn of His anointed.  For God’s word is true:

"The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust;  My shield and the horn of my salvation,  My stronghold and my refuge;  My Savior, You save me from violence.  I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;  So shall I be saved from my enemies. 2 Samuel 22:2-4

Truly my soul silently waits for God;  From Him comes my salvation.  He only is my rock and my salvation;  He is my defense;  I shall not be greatly moved.  How long will you attack a man?  You shall be slain, all of you,  Like a leaning wall and a tottering fence.  They only consult to cast him down from his high position;  They delight in lies;  They bless with their mouth,  But they curse inwardly. Selah

My soul, wait silently for God alone,  For my expectation is from Him.  He only is my rock and my salvation;  He is my defense;  I shall not be moved. In God is my salvation and my glory;  The rock of my strength,  And my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people;  Pour out your heart before Him;  God is a refuge for us. Selah Psalm 62:1-8

God desires to care for His  children and see them through to victory in all their affairs of life. He desires that they put their entire beings into His  capable hands. If they would open their ears and listen only to His Voice they will receive the right directions for their lives and they would not be spinning their wheels in things He has not called them to be doing.

What they may be doing may very well be good but it is not what He has called them to do. It is important that they follow His purposes for their life and not their own ideas, no matter how good they may be. For He is their provision and even when it seems nothing is happening He is always at work. He is working His  purposes on the earth and men are being led of His invisible hand without their even knowing it. He has not changed. What He has been doing in the affairs of men He has done since the beginning of time. He will not be overridden.

No, God  will never forsake His true ones! He is their  security and inheritance and provision in the deserts of life. He is their  hiding place and salvation! He will move out every mountain, deal with every enemy and dispel  every lack in their life. As a result their prosperity will come upon them just  as the dawning of a bright and new day. They will not be able to contain their joy and ecstasy at the provision and security He will provide. He will multiply back to them one hundred fold all they have done for Him because He  loves them. His word is true:

"Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. "And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it.

"Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. "But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away.

"And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop.

"But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred." Mark 4:3-8

Blessed is the man who trusts in the God of His salvation. The God who answers by fire, miracles, signs and wonders and satisfies His people with good things as His word is true:

Blessed is the man You choose,  And cause to approach You,  That he may dwell in Your courts.  We shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Of Your holy temple. By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us,  O God of our salvation,  You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth,  And of the far-off seas; Who established the mountains by His strength,  Being clothed with power;  You who still the noise of the seas,  The noise of their waves,  And the tumult of the peoples. Psalm 65: 4-7

Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah Psalm 68:19

Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him,  That glory may dwell in our land.  Mercy and truth have met together;  Righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth,  And righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the LORD will give what is good;  And our land will yield its increase.  Righteousness will go before Him,  And shall make His footsteps our pathway. Psalm 85:9-13

God’s  salvation is near to those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in their  land. The LORD will give what is good and their  land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway.

His true ones can walk in God. Walk in His  integrity. Walk in His  peace. Walk in His  healing power. Walk in His  provision and supply. God has all the supplies and desires they  have meet. He  has all they need in Heaven and Earth. He  will provide. He will bring a miracle of provision their just like He gave Jesus to be their Savior and everything they need. He has  done it and He will continue to do it.

God  will not let His true ones go or down. He has said it and so it will be. There is no other like Him. He is the great I AM.  They can  depend on Him and trust Him and walk in Him. They have given to Him  ALL so He will give them  ALL! Expect it. For He is their provider and friend. He holds their  circumstances in His  very hands. They are in capable hands and He will not let them go.  God will provide  as they Walk faithfully in Him and keep very close and stand very still and watch His salvation.

For the road of life for God’s true ones is full of His  truth and wisdom and peace. It is full of His  person, power and promises. It is full of His  strength and teachings and courage. It is full of His  gifts and callings and opportunities. It is full of His  provisions and priorities and protection. It is full of His  safety and saturation and solace. It is full of His  courage and conscience and character. It is full of His  goodness, love and caring. It is full of Himself!
