Todd Bentley, Rick Joyner, Bill Johnson and other Third Wave leaders are dangerous as they don't introduce people to Jesus who is the centrality of the gospel and all thing but to a Kundalini demon - The jerking in Toronto, Brownsville or any other revival place is not a sign of the Holy Spirit but of a Kundalini demon which infiltrated Christianity mainly in North America through Rodney Howard Browne!
The fact is the bible never talks about “jerking” being an attribute of the Holy Spirit but rather it states but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control THE KEY WORD HERE IS SELF-CONTROL AND WHEN YOU ARE POSSESSED BY A DEMONIC KUNDALINI SPIRIT THERE IS NO CONTROL AND THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG AND AGAINST SCRIPTURE.
Given the gravity of the heresies and unbiblical experiences that Bob Jones, Todd Bentley, Patricia King, Rick Joyner. Wendy Alec GOD TV AND OTHERS encourage, it is evident that Bentley’s experience-oriented “revivals” are not based on the gospel of Jesus Christ or repentance and faith of the Bible. Bentley’s definition of faith has nothing to do with having Biblically defined faith in Christ. His high-flying claims are of the sort that Paul warned against in Colossians and 2 Corinthians. May the Lord open Christians’ eyes to the perils which they are exposed when they listen to such men and women who are practicing the psychic paranormal variety of religion.
Bob Jones claims that when he makes his daily trip to heaven he feels wind and is greeted by angels. The visits to heaven that Bentley and Jones practice and under the influence is the working of the pagan strain of mystical deceptions. Jones claims that the reason he can go to the third heaven daily is that he has faith for such an experience. Actually, his spiritual blindness has led him into this direction of spiritual delusions because the Bible does not teach that if we have enough faith a Christian can do this sort of soul travel that is akin to pagan astral projection because this is a common practice by wizard’s and witches worldwide.
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” -- Matthew 24:11-12 KJV
“In a bizarre YouTube.com video of “prophet” Patricia King’s TV program, fellow “prophet” Bob Jones and revivalist Todd Bentley discuss the practice of visiting “the third heaven”. Jones also professes to have taught Bentley and King the practice. [i]
In the clip from her aptly-titled show, “Extreme Prophetic” (which has been viewed more than 50,000 times), she introduces Jones as a seer: “Many people don’t understand seer prophets because they see visions and revelations and supernatural encounters and mystical experiences, and Bob Jones in our day, I think, is one of the champions of the seer realm. In fact, as a prophet he’s probably the most accurate prophet in our generation, but he is going to share some insights with us.” King evidently has low standards for accuracy. In 1997 Jones prophesied that an earthquake would destroy Los Angeles and that terrorists with nuclear bombs would also attack the city.[ii] He told Christians to flee, which means he considered the events to be imminent. Also, Bob believes that prophets are only about 66% accurate.
Bob DeWaay continues, “The topic of the day for this particular interview, however, was
not predictive prophecy but travel to the third heaven. Bentley had previously called King and described traveling into heaven. Here is the account of how he learned this:
Bentley replies, “Yeah, well the first time that I had met Bob was actually in Grants Pass, Oregon and we were sitting in a restaurant and I was real hungry and I knew Bob was a real seer prophet and I thought Lord I am going to get an impartation. I’ve been having all these encounters and all these visions and experiences already soaking, but I thought Lord I need to talk to someone who has been walking in this that’s really a senior prophet. So when I met Bob I thought Lord, I am going to get an impartation. (Transference of demons).
Todd continues, “I remember talking to Bob in a restaurant about going into the heavens and what it was, and we were talking about the third heaven and going into the immediate abode into that place; the dwelling place of God. I thought—that’s awesome, I’m hungry for it too. I wanted more because up into that point, sovereignty God was just visiting me. And Bob said to me, He said, we can go right now. And I said what do you mean we can go right now? Like we can just make a decision, right now, and enter into that realm of the spirit? And he said sure we can, don’t you have faith boy? (or something like that)—that’s what he said to me (laughter). And I remember Bob took my hand and everyone else sitting at the table; I don’t know maybe 20- 30 of the people were yakking at the table, it was quite noisy, a lot of the other leaders there; and Bob just takes my hand, like this, and he says “Alright, here we go, close your eyes. And I remember closing my eyes and Bob saying “Okay there it is, can you feel it, alright here we go, we are going in, whoa we’re going in”; and all of a sudden I felt myself going up. I felt my body being lifted up and it was moving really fast and then he was like “can you smell it? Ah hah, there it is, can you smell it?” That’s what he said to me Bob and he said “it’s the vanilla and right when Bob said “the vanilla” I said “I smell vanilla” and then we started smelling all these other fragrances of the anointing, and then he said “Let’s bring them back with us now”.
During the King interview, Jones claimed that he goes up to the third heaven at will and does so every day. He also claims that once one gets past the second heaven, the “hooks” of Satan come out and the angels come to greet such soul travelers. He also claims that he teaches children how to have such experiences and that they are naturals at it.
DeWaay asked the key question is whether Christians can validly practice occult astral projection (even if they do not call it that)?
It is to be noted that The Third Wave is a revival of the theology of the Latter Rain tent revivals of the 1950s and 1960s led by a false prophet, William Branham and made popular through ministers such as Paul Cain, a prophetic legend and a living bridge to William Branham and the Latter Rain of the 50's, has now been revealed to be an alcoholic and a homosexual. Bob Jones former Kansas City prophet who was scandalized for using his 'prophetic office' ... Third Wave's chief guru spiritual experiences are extraordinary as a ruse to get women to disrobe) spoke of a female angel called Emma; has a huge impact on false minister, Todd Bentley.
Bob Jones' Third Wave's chief wizard who introduced trance trips and taught how to "visualize" your way into the 'Third Heaven' through star gate portals to Third Heavens; “Be carried away into a prophetic journey into the Eye of God with Bob Jones, Jeff Jansen & Ryan Wyatt as they flow in the spirit of revelation. This soaking music is filled with impartation from the Throne. The spirit of revelation, the fire of healing and oil of the Spirit are released in this project! A "wonder “full CD to use for soaking and impartation. IMPARTATION SIMPLY MEANS TRANSFERENCE OF DEMONS. Christians are being powerfully deceived!
Third Wave doctrines are based on the idea that in the end times there will be an outpouring of supernatural powers on a group of Christians that will take authority over the existing church and the world bringing them into perfection and then Jesus will return. Of course, this false doctrine elevates them over all who are not part of their heresy; therefore, they are called to conquer them. They teach that the believing Christians of the world will be reorganized under the Fivefold Ministry and the church restructured under the authority of Prophets and Apostles and others anointed by God; the young generation will form “Joel’s Army” to rise up and battle evil and retake the earth for God. These strange doctrines are not found in the Bible.
Canadian Evangelist Pastor Gordon Williams http://gordwilliams.com/ believes that God sends people even those in
the Third Wave strong delusion that they should believe the lie because they
did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved!
Thessalonians 2: 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Most
people’s death experience of leaving their bodies is what is called a
"vain imagination". He/she did
not leave his/her body and what occurred was all within his own
imagination. Astral Projection is
what this is called in the Occult world.
It is a human attempt to grasp at Eternal Life. What "Astral Projection" is about
is what often occurs when somebody within their own imagination projects
themselves in their mind only outside of their body. Most people with an active imagination can go
to other places or step outside of themselves only in the wildest stretch of
their imaginations. A lot of fantasy or
fiction stories are developed and written because of what they are
"dreaming up in their minds or imaginations.
The
definition of the word "imagination" according to my dictionary is: 1.
(a) the act or power of forming mental images of what is not actually present.
(b) the act or power of creating mental images of what h as never been actually
experienced, or of creating new images or ideas by combining previous
experiences; creative power. Imagination
is often regarded as the more seriously and deeply creative faculty, which
perceives the basic resemblances between things, as distinguished from fancy,
the lighter and more decorative faculty, which perceives superficial
resemblances. 2. anything imagined;
mental image; creation of the mind; fancy. 3 a foolish notion; empty fancy. 4.
the ability to understand and appreciate imaginative creations of others,
especially art and literature. The word
"imagine" is defined as 1. to make a mental image of; form an idea or
notion of; conceive in the mind; create by the imagination. 2. to suppose; guess; think.
Whenever,
people start telling us about leaving their bodies and traveling anywhere via
the spirit, it is the work of an overworked sinful mind trying to avoid having
to repent and be baptized with the Holy Spirit with the accompanying proof of
the "signs following". It is
the sinful attempt to create an alternative way to receive salvation without
dealing with their sin embossed with conversations with dead people and
imaginary trips to heaven and hell.
As Paul
said, "I have applied this to Apollos and myself, that you may learn from us not to go beyond what
is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favour of one against another"
(1 Cor. 4: 6). More clearly, the Greek
says, that no one will be "inflated with pride" or "exaggerate
one's own importance" which is exactly what people do for themselves by
means of their overactive imaginations which allow them to go on fanciful self-exaggerated
mind trips which they want to use to convince others that they are more
spiritual than others.
Paul
warns us, "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as
God, neither were they thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and
their foolish heart was darkened" (Rom. 1: 21; KJV) . Basically, the Greek
it is saying, that their thoughts were directed to worthless things.
When will
these fools learn to read the Scriptures: "What shall we say then?
Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no
means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not
know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were
baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by
baptism into death, so that as Christ has been raised from the dead by the
glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life" (Rom. 6: 1 -
4). "For if, after they had escaped the defilements of
the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they
are again entangled in them and overpowered, the last state has become worse
for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to
have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it turn back from the
holy commandment delivered to them. It has happened to them according to
the true proverb, The dog turns back to its own vomit, and the sow is washed
only to wallow in the mire" (2 Peter 2: 20 - 22). In other
words, they have lost their salvation (Rev. 3: 5). Only fools can think
that God overlooks sin and think they can sin with immunity.
And the best proof that nobody can have trips to heaven and back again is what Jesus said, “No one has ascended to heaven but he who descended form heaven, the Son of Man” (Jn. 3: 13). In Greek Grammar, Jesus is saying that “not one person except Himself has ever ascended into heaven. Unfortunately, most pastors and teachers do not know that nobody goes directly to heaven when a person dies. We either go to a temporary heaven called Paradise or a temporary hell called tartarus. This is described by Jesus in the story of the poor man and the rich man who both died (Lk. 16: 20 – 25). Until Jesus comes back to raise all the dead and give us new permanent sin free bodies, nobody goes to Heaven. “But nothing unclean will enter it, nor any one who practices abomination or falsehood, but only those whose names are written in the Book of Life” (Rev. 21: 27). There is no such thing as spirit travelling either. Until we receive our “new spiritual bodies” nobody can go to Heaven. When Paul described a man who claimed that he had travelled to the third heaven (2 Cor. 12: 2), he knew that there was no place called the “third heaven”. There is only ONE HEAVEN AND ONE EARTH. And, that is the reason why he wrote, warning us, “ heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter” (2 Cor. 12: 4). In other words, what he saw should not even be mentioned because there is no such place and anybody who has studied the Bible know this. Or, they should. Paul is being very sarcastic when he described the place that nobody can go to. He then goes on to say, “but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses. Though if I wish to boast, I shall not be a fool, for I shall be speaking the truth – referring to the man who claimed that he traveled to the third heaven or paradise from which there is no returning once a person dies. There is not such thing is the Scriptures called “Astral Projection” which is the belief that people can travel in the spirit to other places. This is another of those vain imaginations that people use to let others know that they are more spiritual than you or me.
