THE GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE
PSALMS 32:7 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him. 11 Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."
Mark 10:27 But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."
No mattter what negative situation or circumstance God's trusting ones are going through, they are not to forget that they serive the God of the impossible with whom all things are possible!
Christianity is a mountain moving miracle religion whose founder was raised from the dead by God. It’s a religion of miracles, signs and wonders where the impossible becomes possible. Those who have a problem with all of this should take the matter up with God for God’s word tell us "For with God nothing will be impossible" (Luke 1:37)."The things which are impossible with men are possible with God" (Luke 18:7). For with God all things are possible" Mark 10:27. Yes the things that are impossible with men are possible with God. What things? All things including healing and deliverance from incurable diseases! Nothing is incurable for our miracle working God who healed all types of sickness, cast out all kinds of diseases and raised the dead!
The eternal supernatural realm of God is more real and powerful than the temporal natural realm that we live in. God’s power is far greater and bigger than any earthly power including the atom bomb or a tornado and is available to each blood bought spirit filled child of God. God’s word is unchanging:
'Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. Jeremiah 32:17
"And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. Luke 15:31
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease. Matthew 10:1
Yes, God’s power can be used on our behalf to heal and curse all sicknesses diseases and infirmities today and to move out any mountain in our lives through the use of faith the size of a mustard seed. Jesus Christ who doesn’t lie told us, “if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” The American heritage dictionary defines nothing as:
noth•ing pron. 1. No thing; not anything. 2. No part; no portion. 3. One of no consequence, significance, or interest. --noth•ing n. 1. Something that has no existence. 2. Something that has no quantitative value; zero. 3.
Faith is not quantifiable or restricted except by the user. Whatever you believe God for is what you get. God’s word is unchanging:
When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out and saying, "Son of David, have mercy on us!" And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you." And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, "See that no one knows it." Matthew 9:27-30
Faith grows as you use it. Greater things and miracles become a reality for those who start believing God in little things. It takes God no more effort to heal cancer than to heal a headache! It’s easier to believe God to heal a headache and then later move on to believe God to heal cancer. God is a miracle working God who loves to do miracles for those who accept and loose them by faith. Faith is not some intellectual idea in the mind of man but is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Faith causes the impossible to become possible in the natural realm. Faith like muscles in a body that are not used grows weaker. But faith that is continually used results in greater miracles. To God it makes no different in restoring spiritual sight or physical sight. Both require a miracle and God is a miracle working God. He is constantly moving across the land to show Himself strong on behalf of those who believe Him. His word is true:
"For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9a
"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:8
"And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21:22
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7
God puts no restrictions on the words ‘And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive’ while men do? Whatever could be a house, a car, a healing, a financial blessing, or anything. Jesus promised ‘If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.’ So as long as there is not sin in the heart or the enemy is allowed to steal the Word of God, with God all things are possible. The problem is not the lack of faith but the use of faith. Everybody has faith but people use it for different things. Many trust the word of their doctor more than the Word of God! Yet God’s word is unchanging:
"Woe to the rebellious children," says the LORD, "Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin; Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
Therefore the strength of Pharaoh Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt Shall be your humiliation. For his princes were at Zoan, And his ambassadors came to Hanes. They were all ashamed of a people who could not benefit them, Or be help or benefit, But a shame and also a reproach." Isaiah 30:1-5
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, And rely on horses, Who trust in chariots because they are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong, But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek the LORD! Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster, And will not call back His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of those who work iniquity.
Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out His hand, Both he who helps will fall, And he who is helped will fall down; They all will perish together. Isaiah 31:1-3
Yes, woe, trouble, shame, humiliation, distress and destruction come to those who put their strength and trust in the arms of flesh above the arms of God. But victory, prosperity, joy, healing, health, wealth and deliverance come to those who trust in God. God’s word is unchanging:
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1:1-6
