Our Wonderful Redeemer
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: "I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself; Who frustrates the signs of the babblers, And drives diviners mad; Who turns wise men backward, And makes their knowledge foolishness; Who confirms the word of His servant, And performs the counsel of His messengers; Who says to Jerusalem, 'You shall be inhabited,' To the cities of Judah, 'You shall be built,' And I will raise up her waste places; Who says to the deep, 'Be dry! And I will dry up your rivers'; Isaiah 44:24-27
But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for "the just shall live by faith." Yet the law is not of faith, but "the man who does them shall live by them." Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:11-14
Jesus Christ our kinsman Redeemer came to set free, rescue and ransom us from all things. It’s a fact that salvation through Jesus enables us to return to the original position Adam enjoyed with God. In that original state, Adam was healthy. No sickness or disease existed in his body, because no sickness or disease existed on earth. Adam enjoyed divine health, a sound mind and every need met before he sinned in the Garden. All he had to do was obey God's command and stay away from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the midst of the Garden. But when the serpent said, "Go ahead and eat from it," Adam disobeyed God and chose a new master (Gen. 3:4-6). At that moment, he lost all the blessings that had been his to enjoy. From that point on, Adam and all his descendants were plagued with hate, murder, poverty and sickness.
But God didn’t leave man to his curses of sin, suffering, poverty, lack and death. He prepared a day of atonement. Jesus became the sacrificial Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. (John 1:29.) He was the last Adam, who redeemed - or purchased back - for us everything the first Adam lost. Through Jesus, we can come into the family of God and have all our original possessions restored! God sent His Word, Jesus, to heal us (Ps. 107:20). He "Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). His word tells us, "By whose stripes ye were healed" (1 Peter 2:24). God’s word is unchanging:
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 3 John 1:2-3
God created Adam and Eve in the beginning not only to live healthy, wealth and prosperous lives but to have dominion in the earthly realm, to have authority to make decrees on earth. However the devil deceived them and caused them not only to disobey God's instructions, but to steal their dominion from them (Genesis 3). Their real failure caused all of us to live inferior and defeated lives, to suffer under the curse of sin and to lose our dominion over the earth. We also lost the power to make kingly decrees. However God did not leave us in this helpless estate forever! He sent Jesus Christ to redeem and rescue us (Isaiah 53). And He gave us His living word to come boldly before the throne of grace to obtain mercy and wisdom and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews. 4:16).
God not only restored all things that we had lost but has given us a better dominion than in the beginning. Our dominion includes the physical and spiritual dominion where we can take authority over the devil in the heavenly realm. As sons of God and joint heirs of God we have been given the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. We can also speak to any mountain and say 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and it will be done. But for many of God’s people this doesn’t work because they have failed to heed what Jesus told them:
Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant." Jeremiah 1:9
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:22-24
"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. John 15:4-8
We are to look to and abide in Jesus and His words and then we can make decrees that will work for God raised Jesus Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. So everything must bow at the decrees that are spoken in Jesus name as we speak what the Father tells us to speak.
It’s to be noted that we have no choice but to abide in Christ or we will be defeated and even destroyed by the onslaught of the enemy that will come against us from Satan who is very jealous of us. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore we must take up the whole armor of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6:12-13). God’s word is unchanging:
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." Romans 10:8-13
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Ephesians 1:15-23
Everything that we get from God including the new birth must be first conceived in our spirit and then proclaimed with our mouth. But we cannot conceive in our spirit what has not been revealed to us! Hence we need to ask God to give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of our understanding being enlightened; that we may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead. God’s word is unchanging:
Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: "I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. "Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. "Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you." Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it." Genesis 28:10-16
Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him. Matthew 4:11
But to which of the angels has He ever said: "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool"? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:13-14
We need an encounter with Jesus and with angels to see the promises of God’s word fulfilled in our hearts and lives. The rational ascent and belief in the Word of God will not cut it. Scriptures are meant to lead us to a supernatural encounter with God and His Son, His Holy Spirit and His angels. God’s word is unchanging:
"But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. "You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. "But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. John 5:38-40
Mighty promises of God in the bible are birthed and manifested on earth through those are who in direct fellowship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Believers can't just go to the Word and claim the Lord's promises and expect to see it happen just because they read them. God’s word says that we are "blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." (Ephesians 1:3).
In the intimacy with the Holy Spirit anything and everything is possible but without Him we can do and are nothing. Jesus Christ was totally dependent on the Holy Spirit for all things and so should we be. We must get to know the Holy Spirit! We are not to be afraid to worship the Third "Person" of the Godhead in addition to the Father and the Son. Holy Spirit is just as much God as the Father and the Son. God consists of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We need the intimacy of the Spirit for those who develop an intimate relationship and exchange with Holy Spirit will have the strongest anointing and power in their lives and ministry for it's the Holy Spirit that brings the manifestation of heaven to earth!
Yes, we need to fellowship with God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit, for then we will have our delight in the Almighty, and lift up our face to God. Then we will make our prayer to Him, He will hear us, and we will pay our vows. We will also declare a thing, and it will be established for us. God’s word is unchanging:
"Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you. Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents. Then you will lay your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks. Yes, the Almighty will be your gold And your precious silver; For then you will have your delight in the Almighty, And lift up your face to God. You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you, And you will pay your vows. You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways. When they cast you down, and you say, 'Exaltation will come!' Then He will save the humble person. Job 22:21-29
We need to press into God as never before and get to know and experience Him more in all His facets. Then the glory of heaven, the deposits of heaven, will rest on us and will simply overflow and people will be filled with the Holy Spirit and be blessed by us. We will be vessels who cause heaven to invade earth. God’s word is unchanging:
"And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Matthew 16:19
"And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among the remnant whom the LORD calls. Joel 2:28-32
