FAITH WORDS: SURELY

May the LORD?

May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion; May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah May He grant you according to your heart's desire, And fulfill all your purpose. We will rejoice in your salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions. Psalm 20:1-5

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21

The word of God is very clear as to what God wants to do for those who have put their trust in Him. He wants to answer them in the day of trouble, help them, strengthen them, grant them according to their heart’s desire, and fulfill all their purposes and all their petitions. And being God almighty and unlimited in riches, resources, power and abilities He is able and will do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, the same power that enable Jesus to do miracle like raising Lazarus from the dead, and the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead!

Because Jesus Christ has gone through all that we are going through and understands all things we don’t have to be shy but can come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Yes, God is in love with us--so in love, He's given us everything He has! He's given us all the healing, all the wisdom, all the wealth, all the strength we could ever need. Bible victory is ours, and we can believe God, and no one else, to give us victory in all ways needed spiritually, physically and financially. Victory is far better than defeat and God’s word is unchanging:

Therefore David blessed the LORD before all the assembly; and David said: "Blessed are You, LORD God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever. Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all.. 1 Chronicles 29:10-12

Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! For He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory. Psalm 98:1-2

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. 1 John 5:4

As the words of the chorus by Eugene M. Bartlett, Sr “Victory in Jesus” tells us, “O victory in Jesus, My Savior, forever He sought me and bought me With His redeeming blood; He loved me ere I knew Him And all my love is due Him, He plunged me to victory, Beneath the cleansing flood.” And the word of God tells us in Roman 8:32 “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”

No man including any preacher give us the victory in life but Jesus Christ can and does! God gives us with Jesus freely all things and not without Him. Jesus is our victory and Victory is Jesus’ middle name. He won the victory for us. There is no victory in life without Jesus who told us all clearly:

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. "If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. John 15:4-8

And God has told us before that victory only comes by His Spirit not by any other thing:

For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, And hewn themselves cisterns-broken cisterns that can hold no water. Jeremiah 2:13

So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts. 'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" ' " Zechariah 4:6-7
