CALL

Seeing Him Who Is Invisible

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:3

By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. Hebrews 11:27

No one is going to have true success in life if he does see the invisible realm of God more real the visible and if he or she does not look to Him who is invisible for all His directions, counsel and guidance.  Those who see and live for the things which are seen are losers already before they even start for they ignore the reality of the Word of God which states:

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.  He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,  and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. Colossians 1:13-20

All things which were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers were created through Jesus Christ and for Him who sustains all things by the power of His spoken word. Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and the head of every thrones, dominions, principalities or powers. Those who fail to understand this truth are only spinning their wheels going now where. They definitely are not pleasing God but only themselves and others - which is an absolute waste of time and life both in the present and in eternity. For He who is the Judge of all the earth and who blessed Abraham and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah is going to judge them even in the current time of life. For God’s word is true:

Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!  Tremble before Him, all the earth. Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns;  The world also is firmly established,  It shall not be moved;  He shall judge the peoples righteously."  Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;  Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it.  Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice before the LORD. For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth.  He shall judge the world with righteousness,  And the peoples with His truth.  Psalm 96:9-13

The LORD has sworn And will not relent,  "You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek."  The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.  He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.  He shall drink of the brook by the wayside;  Therefore He shall lift up the head. Psalm 110:4-7

Men have a real choice to make in life. They can be His friend or be His enemy. The choice is theirs even for those who are called by God’s name. For God’s word is true:

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.  And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.  For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.  Anyone who has rejected Moses' law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:22-31

Those who sin willfully after they have received the knowledge of truth will not receive grace but a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation which devours God’s adversaries. While those who think they have an option to live life as they choose with out paying the resulting consequences of judgment from God are greatly mistaken. For there are consequences even in the current time of life, such as a shorten life span, suffering, poor health, financial losses, and other negative things. Heaven is not short of anything including health, wealth and wisdom while men suffer these kinds of losses and lacks.  Men do not understand the fear of the Lord even though God’s word states:

Come, you children, listen to me;  I will teach you the fear of the LORD.  Who is the man who desires life,  And loves many days, that he may see good?  Keep your tongue from evil,  And your lips from speaking deceit.  Depart from evil and do good;

Seek peace and pursue it.   The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous,  And His ears are open to their cry.  The face of the LORD is against those who do evil,  To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. Psalm 34:11-16

The face of the Lord is against those who do evil to cut off their remembrance of them from the earth. Judgment delayed by God is not judgment denied. It is just God showing His mercies and His grace for people to repent and to change their ways.  But inevitably through what is called the Act of God such as  war, famine, pestilence, storms and other disasters judgment does come to people and when they least expect it.  For the words of Jesus are true:

There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.

"Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."

He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. "Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?'

"But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. 'And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.' " Luke 13;1-9

Unless people repent sooner or later they shall perish.  Sooner or later the keeper of the vineyard shall cut down the tree which is not bearing fruit and is just wasting space.  God is patient, loving, kind and but even this has its limits. Every thing comes to and end and there is a new season or a new time. For God’s word is true:

To everything there is a season,  A time for every purpose under heaven:  A time to be born,  And a time to die;  A time to plant,  And a time to pluck what is planted;  A time to kill,  And a time to heal;  A time to break down,  And a time to build up;  A time to weep,  And a time to laugh;  A time to mourn,  And a time to dance; A time to cast away stones,  And a time to gather stones;  A time to embrace,  And a time to refrain from embracing;  A time to gain,  And a time to lose;  A time to keep,  And a time to throw away;  A time to tear, And a time to sew;  A time to keep silence,  And a time to speak;  A time to love,  And a time to hate;  A time of war,  And a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  Fear God and keep His commandments,  For this is man's all.  For God will bring every work into judgment,  Including every secret thing,  Whether good or evil.  Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
