MY DELIVERER

PETITION NOT REPETITION :

Mark 8:24-25, "And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking. After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly."

It was unusual for Jesus to inquire about the results of His ministry as He did in verse 23. It was even more unusual that Jesus laid hands on this man a second time. This is the only example in the New Testament where Jesus had to minister to any need more than once to affect a total healing.

Many people request things from God and then look at their circumstances to see if God answered their prayer. That is walking by sight and not by faith. If they can't "see" God's answer, then they pray again asking for the same thing. This is not the way Jesus taught us to pray and receive. We can be certain that Jesus didn't lay hands on this man a second time because He thought His Father hadn't heard Him the first the time. Since the man received partial sight, it is evident that God's healing power was at work in him. Jesus was not petitioning His Father again for healing.

Through His spirit, Jesus knew that unbelief was hindering a perfect manifestation of God's power in this man, and He simply gave him another "dose" of the anointing power of God. Satan may hinder, but cannot overcome someone who continues resisting him. Believe that you received when you prayed and continue to apply the power of God. Press in such a degree that you can confront anything that is contrary to what you have asked and overcome it. Perseverance in prayer is the key to overcoming Satan - not God.

 THE CRASH

He will bring me forth to the light; I will see His righteousness. —Micah 7:9

For years after the Great Depression, the stock market struggled to win back investors’ confidence. Then, in 1952, Harry Markowitz suggested that investors spread their stock holdings over several companies and industries. He developed a theory for portfolio selection that helped investors in uncertain times. In 1990, Markowitz and two others won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences for their theory.

Like those jittery investors, we followers of Jesus may also find ourselves frozen in fear after a “crash” in our personal lives, unsure how to pick up the pieces and move on. We might even spend our remaining lives waiting for a “Markowitz moment,” when one big idea or action can help us recover from a previous failure.

We forget that Jesus has already done that on our behalf. He covered our shame, and He set us free to fellowship with God and serve Him daily. Because He gave His life, and rose from the dead, when we “fall,” we can “arise” with Him, for “He delights in mercy” (Micah 7:8,18).

The moment we find Jesus, our eternity with Him begins. He walks alongside us so He can change us into the people we long to be and were created to be.

Father, my actions aren’t adequate to fix my
failures. Thank You for doing that through
Your Son Jesus who gave Himself for us.
Help me to look up and walk with You.

Look up from your failure, and you’ll find God standing ready to receive you

THE FINGER OF GOD (1)
:

'When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers...' Psalm 8:3 NKJV

Let's look at the finger of God in Scripture: the finger of God in creation. The Psalmist David said, 'When I consider...the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him?' (Psalm 8:3-4 NKJV) The Bible opens by telling us, 'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.' (Genesis 1:1 NIV) In a day when many challenge the inspiration and infallibility of the Bible, we need to teach our children Who made the universe, Who runs it, and to Whom each of us is ultimately accountable. In 1961 Yuri Gagarin, the first Russian cosmonaut to go into space, is alleged to have boasted, 'I looked and looked but I didn't see God.' Guess what? One day he will see God and stand before Him and be judged (Romans 14:11-12). We all will! Faith and reason are not necessarily opposed. But when reason won't take you another step, faith keeps on going because it connects you to God. The stars convinced David of God's existence. They say if you counted stars at a rate of 125 a minute, it would take 2,000 years just to count the stars in our Milky Way. And that it would take ten billion human beings standing side by side to span the diameter of the average star. Awesome, isn't it? Paul says: 'For since the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities - His eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.' (Romans 1:20 NIV) If you look you will see God at work everywhere - including your own life.

 REST IS SPIRIT-DIRECTED ACTIVITY

JOHN 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth…

Resting in the finished work of Jesus is not inactivity or laziness. Rest will always result in Holy Spirit-directed activity.

While you are trusting God for your healing, you may need specific wisdom to deal practically with your physical symptoms. This comes from the Holy Spirit. He wants to guide you into all truth and lead you to victory.

For example, if you have a stomach ulcer, He may tell you, “Stop that stressful activity,” or “Spend more time playing with your kids.” You see, He knows exactly what the problem is and has the perfect solution that will bring about the results you desire!

Beloved, choose to tune in to the Spirit today and follow His promptings. You will find life, peace and victory!

"THE DEVIL PROMISES PROSPERITY" BAPTIST PASTOR JOHN PIPER
2 Kings 18:7 And the LORD was with him; wherever he went he prospered. And he rebelled against the king of Assyria and did not serve him.

1 Chronicles 29:23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father; and he prospered, and all Israel obeyed him.

2 Chronicles 14:7 For he said to Judah, "Let us build these cities and surround them with walls and towers, gates and bars. The land is still ours because we have sought the LORD our God; we have sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side." So they built and prospered.

2 Chronicles 26:5 He continued to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding through the vision of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God prospered him.

But is John Piper a liar and a twister of God's word because the bible doesn't say that the devil delivers on so called prosperity promises since the devil is a liar and powerless while God does deliver on His prosperity promises such as:
Psalms 1: 1 How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

Psalms 35:27 Let them shout for joy and rejoice, who favor my vindication; And let them say continually, "The LORD be magnified, Who delights in the prosperity of His servant."

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

Yes John Piper is a stupid shepherd who should heed God's word which states about the lack of prosperity:
Jeremiah 10:21 For the shepherds have become stupid And have not sought the LORD; Therefore they have not prospered, And all their flock is scattered.

JOHN PIPER IS A LIAR AND DECEIVER BECAUSE MY BIBLE SAYS WEALTH , RICHES AND PROSPERITY COME FROM GOD NOT THE DEVIL

1 Kings 3:13 I have also given you what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there will not be any among the kings like you all your days.

1 Chronicles 29:12 Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.

PRAYER TO START THE DAY :

“In the morning, O LORD, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation.” (Psalm 5:3)

Dear Lord God, I praise You. I honor You. I see Your face in every sunrise. Your smile breaks through the cloud with radiant sunshine. You brighten up the world and light up my life. Your Spirit comes upon me that my life is on revival. You put a song of heaven in my heart that my soul shouts loud of Your praise. May God bless me good health and every success in all areas of my life from today till eternity! Let the Holy Spirit come and fill me that I can achieve as many as good deeds daily. O God! Please strengthen me, empower me, use me and treasure me like a shining pearl in Your hand.

Gratefully, in Jesus’ holy name. Amen !!!
