Jeremiah 17:5 Thus says the LORD: ” Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD.
ISAIAH 30 1 “Woe to the rebellious children,” says the LORD, “Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin;
2 Who walk to go down to Egypt, And have not asked My advice, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
3 Therefore the strength of Pharaoh Shall be your shame, And trust in the shadow of Egypt Shall be your humiliation.
4 For his princes were at Zoan, And his ambassadors came to Hanes.
5 They were all ashamed of a people who could not benefit them, Or be help or benefit, But a shame and also a reproach.”
6 The burden against the beasts of the South. Through a land of trouble and anguish, From which came the lioness and lion, The viper and fiery flying serpent, They will carry their riches on the backs of young donkeys, And their treasures on the humps of camels, To a people who shall not profit;
7 For the Egyptians shall help in vain and to no purpose. Therefore I have called her Rahab-Hem-Shebeth
ISAIAH 31:1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, And rely on horses, Who trust in chariots because they are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong, But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek the LORD!
2 Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster, And will not call back His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of those who work iniquity.
3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; And their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out His hand, Both he who helps will fall, And he who is helped will fall down; They all will perish together.

MANY TV PREACHERS ARE ENTERTAINERS AND NOT TRUE MEN OF GOD OTHER WISE
GOD WOULD CONFIRM THEIR PREACHING WITH MIRACLES, SIGNS AND WONDERS
I was thinking about the real useless parasites in society and many of whom go into politics and I am talking about lawyers. Jesus Christ, Himself, cursed not blessed lawyers with “Woe to you” which doesn’t mean something good is going to happen to you?
Luke 11
46 And He said, “Woe to you also, lawyers! For you load men with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.
52 “Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.”
This group is really from hell charging much money, doing nothing and playing around with words. They are totally useless and a necessary evil in our Canadian society
Business professionals live and play in the dimension of words and by networking with friends and contacts. It’s amazing that they accomplish anything of value as they are very inefficient and many of them are thieves
Being a former project manager and working with many managers. You would be amazed how many of them are incompetent and absolute bluffers and poker players who used their education to make very crappy reports and decisions
Many people are naive and too trusting of business professionals never mind politicians or preachers! The real staggering amount of financial losses that occur through trusting in so called professionals is very great. Never mind the Ponzi schemes that are conducted by many of them including by the son of a preacher and graduate from Oral Roberts University, Dan Strader, who is presently serving a 45 year jail term in Florida. In February of 1993, Karl Strader, pastor of Carpenter’s Home Church in Lakeland, Florida, and his wife, Joyce, were in Hawaii for a Worship ‘93 conference, where Norvel Hayes prophesied that a tremendous great wind of the Spirit was about to come to them. Joyce Strader wrote in Ministries Today (July/August 1993, p. 38), “We arrived home Saturday night. That Sunday morning Carpenter’s Home Church began a planned one-week series of meetings with South African evangelist Rodney Howard-Browne But God had a surprise for us. The meetings went on for four weeks—with thousands flocking to the church to see and taste the new move of God…. But God never intended for it to last only a week. Full-blown revival has come to Central Florida and Carpenter’s Home Church.”
During the first few months of 1993, Rodney Howard-Browne spent a total of thirteen weeks at that church, and Christian leaders from many parts of the United States, including Richard Roberts, chancellor of Oral Roberts University, came to the meetings to observe and participate, and minister in the new anointing. Charisma (Aug 1994, p. 24), stated that people flew in for these meetings from Africa, Great Britain, and Argentina to see what was happening.
The effect of this so called revival in Carpenter’s Home Church and its lasting impact on the community, as documented by this book, included the robbing, raping and murdering of innocent God fearing elderly people by the Straders.
FAILED PROSPERITY http://tinyurl.com/35msnwl
In 2006, the church gained notoriety when Hammond took to the pulpit to endorse Rep. Michele Bachmann for her first election to Congress. Hammond’s backing prompted complaints to the IRS and raised eyebrows, since Hammond didn’t live in Bachmann’s district.
Hammond’s financial troubles come after years of financial growth for the church and for Hammond personally. The “prosperity gospel” Hammond preaches asserts that financial gain is a sign of God’s love. The church has several prayers about becoming debt-free.
“We, the body of Believers of Living Word Christian Center, declare we have been carved out for an end-time expression of El Shaddai, the God of abundance and no lack,” reads one such prayer on the church’s website. “We are taught how to live independent of this world system and how to have dominion over it, therefore, in Jesus’ name, we declare we are debt-free! The spirit of debt is destroyed over our lives and over this local church because of the anointing. We are the lender and not the borrower, the head and not the tail.”
