THE BEST

YOUR BEST DAYS ARE STILL IN FRONT OF YOU !!!

I am excited about all that God has done throughout this year, and I am just as excited about what God is going to do in the future.

You may be saying, “Well, my year wasn’t so amazing. I didn’t see all of the things I wish I could have seen in my life.” If so, let me encourage you today...

God still wants to do incredible and amazing things in your life!

It starts with the way you view your current life circumstances, and the way you view your future.

There is a story in the Bible that illustrates this very well. In the book of Numbers, Moses sent 12 trusted leaders into the future land of promise. As they surveyed the land, they ALL saw incredible supply. They saw grapes that were larger than anything they had ever seen. They saw abundant resources and provision that were far above anything they had ever experienced.

But what they also saw in front of them were giants. There were enemies who possessed the land who were larger and very intimidating.

I think that’s something we can all relate to. Even though God has made us great promises, many times we tend to focus on the giants. Your giant may be:
• A relational disappointment you’ve recently experienced.
• Your finances that haven’t turned out the way you hoped.
• The fact that you’ve been sick.
• A disappointment you can’t seem to get past.

Here is a question I would like to ask you: Are you ready to position yourself to see the “God of more than enough” come through and meet your need?

The starting point is your willingness to let go of fear and doubt and anxiety. Take hold of the fact that God loves you, has a plan for you and really does want to show Himself strong on your behalf.

He wants to defeat every giant. He wants to overcome every obstacle. And He wants to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you ask or think!

EMBRACING CHANGE :

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland” - (Isaiah 43:19, NIV)

Change is one of the most difficult things for people to face; however, change is inevitable. In fact, Mark Twain once said, “The only person who likes change is a wet baby.” One reason people don’t like change is because they get comfortable with where they are in life. They get used to their friends, job or the place they live. And even if it’s not perfect, they accept it simply because it’s familiar. However, when we are not willing to change, we get stuck in life holding on to what God did in the past instead of growing and moving forward into what God wants to do in the future.

Today, I encourage you to be open to the new things God has in store for you. Always remember that just because God has blessed you where you are doesn’t mean you can just sit back and settle there. God wants to do something new in you and through you. He wants to see you grow, prosper and flourish. Get ready and keep your heart focused on Him. Embrace change and see the blessing God has in store for you!

THE LAND IS YOURS! GO IN AND POSSESS IT AND DRIVE THE ENEMIES OUT

Deuteronomy 11:24 Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory.25    No man shall be able to stand against you; the LORD your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you. 26 "Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: 27 the blessing, if you obey the commandment of the LORD your God which I command you today; 28 and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.

IN YOUR MIDNIGHT HOUR :

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose” - (Acts 16:25–26, NIV)

Paul and Silas were put in jail for spreading the good news. It wasn’t fair. They were beaten with rods without a trial. It was unjust. As they sat in the prison, bloody, bruised and uncomfortable, they began to sing praises to God. As they were singing praises to God, all of the sudden, there was a great earthquake. The prison doors flung open, the chains fell off, and they walked out as free men. What happened? They praised their way to victory!

Friend, if you’re going to live in victory, you have to know how to praise in your midnight hour — when things seem the darkest, when you’re in pain, disappointed, lonely or experiencing a loss. When you praise Him no matter what, that’s when God can enter your situation. That’s when He can break your chains and set you free!

Remember, a sacrifice of praise is when it costs you something, when you don’t necessarily feel like doing it. Praise Him, not because of how you feel, but because He is worthy! Praise Him in your midnight hour and get ready to embrace the freedom He has planned for you!
