ONLY A FOOL

THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Luke 9:2 He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
Luke 9:60 Jesus said to him, "Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God."
1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

In the book The Unchurched Next Door author Dr. Thom Rainer writes, "Only 2 percent of church members invite an unchurched person to church. 98% of church-goers never extend an invitation in a given year." But only a fool would invite a person to a dead church devoid of miracles, signs, wonders and power!”  The word of God is very clear what happens in a true authentic church of Jesus Christ:

1 Corinthians 14: 26 How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. 27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, let there be two or at the most three, each in turn, and let one interpret. 28 But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in church, and let him speak to himself and to God. 29 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others judge. 30 But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent. 31 For you can all prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be encouraged. 32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. 33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

In a true church of Jesus Christ there is life, operation of the gifts of the Spirit, and the participation of a multiplicity of believers, unlike in dead churches where words are preached, even deceiving ones,  devoid of confirmation of God, through miracles, signs and wonders! It clearly states “Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation!”

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever as well as a miracle working God. And people today have need of salvation, healing and deliverance just as much as in Jesus days. Those who says they believe in God and His power must demonstrate it through miracles signs and wonders just like Jesus said true believers would do in Mark 16 for the benefits of the gospel including healing, miracles, love and righteousness must also be seen in their lives also.  Otherwise they are just a clanging empty cymbal deceived and devoid of the real truth and Jesus!

Mark16:19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

It’s to be noted that the gospels don't put much emphasis on singing songs or loud rock music unlike many of the churches of our day? The New Testament doesn't say that Jesus was a singer or a praise worshipper or a fairy or a fairy god mother or gay?

Whether people believe it or not Jesus doesn’t go to most churches today while the devil with his counterfeit Jesus does! If Jesus went to a church today we would see the same things that happened in Jesus day

Matthew 4:24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
Matthew 8:16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
Matthew 12:15 But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew from there. And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all.

Many so called believers are unbelievers! They are not true authentic Christians. Preachers today preach by intellect and not by the Holy Spirit. They lie and convince people that they are saved and filled with the Holy Spirit when they are not!

They also lie and say study your bible and you will be a great man of God. They leave out the importance of praying in tongues daily and obeying the voice of the lord never mind hearing the voice of the Lord.

The 1st half of being born again which is water baptism for repentance.  The second half is receiving the baptism of Jesus, the first occurrence was on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2).  We all must have our own experience of or our personal day of Pentecost when, like the disciples on the day of Pentecost received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Without the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the proof of the “signs following” there is no personal relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

And many Charismatics/Pentecostals/Third Wave today believe much in praise worship with loud music but don't go out and help the poor and needy. Yes they are lousy doing the social gospel. They ignore what Jesus said:

MATTHEW 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
32    All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
33    And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.
34    Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35    for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
36    I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.'
37    "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
38    When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
39    Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?'
40    And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'
41    "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
42    for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
43    I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.'
44    "Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?'
45    Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.'
46    And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
