ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED?
The problem is that anybody who rejects the Baptism of the Holy Spirit does not have the assurance of their permanent Salvation. They claim on the basis of their misunderstanding that a person receives the Holy Spirit when they experience the forgiveness of their sin. In the book of Acts, this happened only once in the House of Cornelius while Peter was preaching, “While Peter was still saying this, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word. And the believers amongst the circumcised who came with Peter were amazed, because the Gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them all speaking in tongue and extolling God” (Acts 10: 44 – 46). Their rejection of the Holy Spirit Who is given to us is the proof that they do not want Jesus to be their Lord. And, the further proof is that they do not have the “Signs” to prove that they have receive the Holy Spirit Who gives us assurance of our permanent Salvation.
They also do not like the passages that tell us that we can lose our salvation (Matt. 25: 31 – 46; Mk. 3: 29; Lk. 12: 10; Heb. 6: 1 – 8; 2 Pet. 2: 17 – 22; Rev. 3: 5). Most of them blaspheme against the Holy Spirit because they attribute the works and gifts of the Holy Spirit as coming from the devil or demons. Recently, I prayed with a Baptist who was suffering from diabetes and when he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the neuropathy in his feet was healed and his tests proved that his insulin was almost normal. These people have a serious problem with Scripture when they deny that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today because we are told that the “perfect” end will not come until Jesus comes back on the Day of Resurrection (1 Cor. 15: 24f).
Unfortunately these people are todays Sadducees and are guilty of what Jesus said to the Sadducees who were always their to criticize Him. To them in His earthly days of ministry applies to our modern day Sadducees, Jesus said, “You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God” (Matt. 22: 29). Christian Sadducees, if we can call them this, deny the continuing work of Jesus Christ through those who have receive the legitimate Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the “Signs Following” (Mk. 16: 17 – 20) and the “Gifts of the Holy Spirit” (Rom. 12: 6 – 8; 1 Cor. 12: 8 – 10).

"Signs, Wonders and Miracles!
2014 - a New Year for "Signs, Wonders and Miracles! We are told, "this great salvation ... .. lt was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested (guaranteed) to us by those who heard him, while God also bore witness by signs and wonders and various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his own will" (Heb. 2: 3 - 4). In other words, it doesn't matter how great a preacher or speaker is, there must be "signs and wonders and miracles" to prove that they are preaching- the Full Gospel of Jesus Christ. Now, what are we talking about?" The "Signs" (Mk. 16: 17 - 18) prove that the Gospel has been preached. No Signs means No Gospel. Signs mean: Demons are cast out! "People speak in the new tongues-languages which is proof of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. If believers eat or drink anything poisonous they are protected. And, believers can iay hands on the sick and they shall recover. The 15 Gifts of the Holy Spirit must be used so that all needs can be met. If there are no Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Rom. 12: 6 - 8; 1 Cor. 12: 8 - 10) distributed amongst the church people and being used in services and meetings to meet people's needs, then, the Holy Spirit is not there. Jesus is not Lord and Christmas and Easter have no meaning. All so called worship services become religious entertainment. By the time that John received the Book of Revelation, serious deterioration in the churches had already taken its toll and Jesus gave His evaluation (Rev. 2 - 3). Look at them: compare them with the churches around you! Jesus warned us about the "desolating sacrilege" or "desolation of abomination"(Dan. 9: 27; 11 : 30; 12: 11) which refers to the days when the temple was destroyed in AD 70 and the daily sacrifices were stopped and there is no way to find forgiveness, signs and wonders and miracles (Matt. 24: 15;Mk. 13: 14). When there are no "Signs, Wonders and Miracles" (Dan. 6: 26 - 27) it is proof that people are not receiving forgiveness and are not having their needs met.
Many churches today are suffering from the "desolation of abomination". So, let's make 2014 the Year of Signs, Wonders, Miracles and a Year of the distribution and use of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Mk. 16: 17 - 20) as confirmation of the preached word .. A few years ago when I was doing ministry in Ecuador, I prayed with a young man who was studying in the U.S.A. He explained to me on Skype that he had been lied to for seven years because his pastor had told him that he had received the Holy Spirit when he received Salvation when he did not (Acts 8: 16). I suggested that if he wanted-to be Baptized wit11-the Holy Spirit with the "Signs Following" it was necessary to forgive his former pastor. He agreed and we prayed and he received the proof (guarantee) as he began to speak in his new tongues language and received the other "Signs Following" (Mk. 16: 17 - 18).
