JESUS CAN

GOD LOOKS FOR AVAILABILITY :

Luke 2:24, "And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons."

The Old Testament passage being quoted is from Lev. 12:6-8. There the Lord commanded a lamb and a young pigeon or a turtledove as the prescribed sacrifice. If the woman was unable to offer a lamb, then two young pigeons or two turtledoves were acceptable. Mary would not have offered the lesser offering if it had been in her power to provide the lamb.

This reveals that Joseph and Mary were not well off financially, yet the Lord chose them to be the earthly parents of His only begotten Son.

The Lord doesn't choose the way man chooses. Man looks on the outward appearance but God looks on the heart (1 Sam. 16:7).

Mary and Joseph were chosen when they were without: without fame, without position, without money. God entrusted the most precious gift He had to a couple who would surely have been overlooked if men had been conducting the search.

God isn't looking for ability, but rather availability. D. L. Moody once heard a preacher say, "The world has never seen what God can do with one man who is totally yielded to Him." In response, D. L. said, "By the grace of God, I'll be that man." This uneducated man went on to shake three continents for God.

God will choose you too, if you'll make yourself available to Him (1 Cor. 1:26-28).

REMEMBER

Even when the odds are against you, when the Greater One is for you, it doesn't matter.

Jesus will lead you to freedom in any area of your life, if only you're willing to follow Him.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. —Philippians 4:19, NLT

When Jesus cried out “It is finished!”, the wall of sin that separated us from God crumbled, and God unleashed a flood tide of His grace upon us. That grace is still flowing toward us today, supplying whatever we need in this life, daily loading us with benefits! Beloved, the essence of God’s grace is SUPPLY. When you are conscious of His supply instead of the demands on you, you will surely see His abundant provision for every need in your life! Amen!

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation (Psalm 118:14)

Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You. I honor You. This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Father, I call to You and You will answer me and tell me great and unsearchable things. Let me live in Your riches of glory and praise You with hymns everyday for You are my great Creator and Provider.

Gratefully. In Jesus' holy name I pray in faith. Amen !!!

JESUS CAN SET THEM FREE :

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. – Matthew 10:7-8

There are those who've said that some of the diseases that are on the rampage right now, diseases such as AIDS, are God's way of punishing immoral people today. There is absolutely no scriptural basis for that!

God does not bring disease on the human race. In fact, if there's anybody in heaven and earth who hates it, it's Jesus. The devil is the one who's trying to tell us otherwise. He's promoting a lie, trying to get us to believe God is the one who's inflicting these diseases on people because he knows that if the victims believe that, it will drive them further from God than ever. And that's his aim.

It's time you and I as believers put a stop to that lie. Some time ago, the Lord spoke to my heart and told me so. He said, "Reach out to those who are suffering. Let them know I didn't do this to them. Let them know I'm their Deliverer!"

That word was not just for me, it was for the whole Body of Christ. We need to tell people who've been afflicted with AIDS or any such disease that Jesus is Lord over it. We need to tell them that God loves them dearly, and He has the desire and the power to heal them.

God is not responsible for the suffering we're seeing around us. That's just a nasty lie the devil is passing around. And if you and I do our job right, very soon another word is going to start spreading through the streets. The news is going to get out that Jesus Christ is not their captor, He's the One who can set them free!

A NEW BEGINNING

God has a new beginning for everyone all over the world regardless of one's beliefs, mindsets, or even faith. It doesn't matter whether one is an atheist, a traditionalist, Hindu, an avowed unrepentant church goer, Muslim, Hare Krishna, and many more. God wants to meet you where you are. All you need to do today is to come to our LORD Jesus Christ genuinely today the way you are and leave the rest to him. My Bible tells me that: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus" (Romans 3:23-26, KJV). As you come to God genuinely today through our LORD Jesus Christ who is: "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6, KJV), you shall receive a new beginning with every old thing in your life passing totally away not by might or power but by the Spirit of God in the name of Jesus, Amen.
