I Will Bless You
Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." Genesis 12:1-3
"Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased him." For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody. Isaiah 51:1-3
Yes, God desires to bless every area of our life just like He blessed Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, David, Solomon and others. He desires to give us the same anointing that He gave Jesus and each of His disciples. His word is unchanging:
Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. Luke 9:1-2
"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19
For all those who are born again and filled with the Spirit of God, Jesus gives an anointing to heal the sick and cast out demons. As a result there are seven things that we can do for those who require healing and deliverance:
1) Praise the Lord and praise in the Spirit for wisdom and discernment.
2) Pray (focused) for only two things:
(1) Remove the pain in Jesus’ name
(2) Heal the cause of the pain in Jesus’ name
3) Bind the Strongman (the devil.) “Satan, I bind you in Jesus’ name and render you powerless. Loose this person and let them go.”
4) Cast out the demon (Spirit of Infirmity.) “Foul spirit, come out of this person and take your pain, disease, sickness and damage with you and go to the pit and stay there.”
5) Command the pain to leave the person’s body. “Pain, in Jesus’ name, come out of this person’s body and go to the pit.”
6) Kill the disease with words. “Sickness, in Jesus’ name, die at the roots, dry up and come out of this person’s body.”
7) Speak healing into the person’s body. “In Jesus’ name, be healed! In Jesus’ name, be healed! In Jesus’ name, be healed!”
Through the anointing we can receive the bowel of mercy to touch hurting people with the love of God. Bind every sickness or disease that the enemy wants to use to stop our destiny. Break the power of the sickness that will try to hinder us from achieving our vision. Give God the praise for the opportunity to be alive and healthy today. Pray that we will be used of the Lord to heal the wounded and broken around us. Plead the blood of Jesus against every form of torment, whether physical or spiritual. Cancel the curse that may have caused spiritual barrenness in the name of the Lord. Cancel every bondage of genetic diseases in our family to ten generations. Break the hold of every evil pronouncement made into our life in the past in Jesus name.
We can also pray that the anointing of God will flow from our life to bring healing, deliverance and hope. Thank the Lord for healing the sick and setting people free as the glory increases in our church. Release ourselves by faith from every disease that may have come on us through unforgiveness. Thank God because out of our barrenness shall come forth that which glorifies God. Confess and renounce all the sins or mistakes that may have caused our barrenness. Take the time to give God the praise for His faithfulness in keeping His word. Bless His name because He will never keep any good thing from those who love Him. Take the time to give Him praise for the miracle of His healing in our life in the past. Lift His name up in praise, because He said if He is lifted up, He will draw men to Himself.
We can also thank Him and as we do so, confess the fact that we will be healed as the brass serpent brought healing in the wilderness. Pray for the members of our household to receive the healing of the Lord. Take authority over every affliction and destroy its impact on our body in the name of Jesus. Thank the Lord for His covenant name of Jehovah Rapha. As we lay our hand on the area of our affliction, we can remind the Lord of His covenant to heal. Ask the Lord to remember the tears of our affliction as we call Him for prayer. Pray that the miracle of our healing will be a sign and wonder to the unsaved. Commit our business and work to the Lord and ask Him to heal the ailing area. Pray for the people who worship in our congregation and are been afflicted by the enemy, that they will be healed of the Lord.
We can also command every disease in the bones to die in the name of Jesus. Take authority over every binding disease like arthritis and command that they break their hold. Receive inner healing for the ailments we cannot see in Jesus name. Take the time to remember and thank God for we were healed and set free from our distress. If we remember any connection between sin and the sickness, we can ask the Lord to forgive and heal us. Stand on His word that says He heals all diseases and confess our healing of all the diseases in our body. Take authority over every disease of the heart and receive our healing in the name of the Lord. Speak the Word of God to every virus and command the viruses to die. Thank the Lord by faith and confess that the time to be healed of every diseased has come. Pray that any affliction that has come through disobedience will be healed by Him. Take authority over every trace of stroke and blood problem and receive our healing. Reject every lie of the devil that makes us think sickness glorifies God.
We can also rejoice in the Lord because He is pleased with our ways and He will heal. The Lord says He will create the fruit of our lips, so confess our healing in Jesus name. Take a step of faith and declare our healing before the physical manifestation. Receive healing for the areas of our life that are afflicted because of our backsliding. Hand over the ailment which experts said cannot be healed and receive our healing. Take the time to acknowledge and testify the healing from the Lord. Thank the Lord for loving us so much, to be healed by the stripes of His been flogged. Ask the Lord to heal your backsliding and other areas of our Christian life that is unhealthy. Pray that every source of our blessing which may have been polluted will be healed and cleansed. Pray for our minister that God will use him to bring healing and deliverance to the people. Pray for an outbreak of healing revival in the land in the name of the Lord. Receive the anointing to bring healing to the masses of the people. Thank the Lord because His healing will flow as we praise His name. Receive the anointing to move in the power gifts of healing in the name of Jesus.
We can also confess by faith that our healing will spring forth in the name of the Lord. Give God praise and confess that we are coming out of the bed of illness. Thank the Lord because we shall still know His power in old age. Thank the Lord because His healing will bring joy to our life. Speak the Word of God to the problem area of our life and receive His healing. With our mouth, pronounce healing, deliverance, and salvation. Ask the Lord to send those who will always speak the word of life into our situation. Pray that the word of the Lord will bring healing to the innermost parts of our life.
Now the Angel of the LORD came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites. And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, "The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!" Gideon said to Him, "O my lord, if the LORD is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, 'Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt?' But now the LORD has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites." Then the LORD turned to him and said, "Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?" So he said to Him, "O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house." And the LORD said to him, "Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man." Judge 6:11-16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. James 5:16-18
A great host of men and woman in the Bible from Genesis through to Revelation experienced trances, visions, dreams, angelic visitations, prophecy, visitations of the Lord and the audible voice of the Lord. Gideon, Daniel, Joseph, Mary, Zacharias, the Father of John the Baptist, Peter and Paul had a visit from an angel and why shouldn’t all of God’s children? They should! They can have whatever they desire because they are King’s kids! The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much and can have whatever they pray for! There is no logical reason just to live in the natural world when we are living in the Spiritual world at the same time! We should partake and enjoy of all that God has to offer us including trances, visions, dreams, angelic visitations, prophecy, visitations of the Lord and the audible voice of the Lord. We need to learn how to touch, access and experience that invisible realm on a daily basis.
We need to ask for the Holy Spirit to impart to us that supernatural anointing of eyes and wings eyes to see what He is doing and the wings to go into the heavenly realm with Him. We need for our Lord open up our eyes to the realm of angels, trances, visions and dreams and remove every thought and belief that hinders us from seeing into the heavenlies. We need to have the supernatural realm become totally natural for us. We were created for signs and wonders to be a a supernatural testimony to the world – to be a vessel, a channel for signs and wonders in heaven and on the earth. We need to walk in the reality of the ministry of Jesus on a daily basis—seeing into the heavenlies; healing every sickness and disease; casting out demons as well as preaching and teaching God’s word. We need to do those things that we see the Father do and be filled with the spirit of wisdom and revelation that our lives would be a living testimony of the reality of the supernatural realm and our God, our LORD and Our King. God’s word is unchanging:
"And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, ' These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. "So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. "Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'-and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked- "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." ' " Revelation 3:14-21
