THE GOD OF VICTORY AND PROSPERITY

THE GOD OF VICTORY AND PROSPERITY

Deuteronomy 26:11 So you shall rejoice in every good thing which the LORD your God has given to you and your house, you and the Levite and the stranger who is among you.

1 Chronicles 29:11  Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

For a Christian the world has no answers for him concerning victory, success and prosperity. And unless your faith and thoughts line up with the Word of God, you are not going to be very successful in life!  And the Word tells us that God is the God of victory, power, prosperity, and every good gift and every perfect gift! It all comes from Him and He delights to give good things to His sons and daughters:

Matthew 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

The Word of God is also very clear

Psalms 35:27 Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, " Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant."

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Hebrews 11: 30  By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. 31 By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace. 32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.

Now any mariner knows that it is the sail not the gale that determines the direction of a ship. And for each Christian that knowledge and obedience to the Word of God determines success and prosperity in spite of any kind of opposition! Yes the Word of God tells us that by using their faith Gideon,  Barak, Samson, Jephthah,  David, Samuel, the prophets and others through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,  quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the alien. So if they were able to become victorious, prosperous, successful and more than conquerors  each son and daughter of God can do the same especially as they live under a new superior covenant where God Himself lives in each one of them and prayers and intercedes for them as they live and walk in the Spirit and not the flesh!  God’s word is unchanging:

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God --- and righteousness and sanctification and redemption

1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

2 Kings 6: 15       And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, "Alas, my master! What shall we do?" 16 So he answered, "Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them." 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 18 So when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, and said, "Strike this people, I pray, with blindness." And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha. 19 Now Elisha said to them, "This is not the way, nor is this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek." But he led them to Samaria. 20 So it was, when they had come to Samaria, that Elisha said, "LORD, open the eyes of these men, that they may see." And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and there they were, inside Samaria!
