RHEMA WORD

Jesus Has Borne Your Diseases

Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows…     Isaiah 53:4

Imagine the dreadful disease leprosy eating a man alive. The poor leper in Matthew 8:2 could stand his suffering no longer, so he came out into the open to look for Jesus. He needed to know if Jesus was willing to heal him. When he saw Jesus, he fell at His feet and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” (Matthew 8:2) The Son of God looked at the outcast with love in His eyes, reached out His hand, touched him and said, “I am willing; be cleansed.” (Matthew 8:3)

Perhaps you are suffering from some disease and wondering if God is willing to heal you? You are not sure if He is willing because just as you have seen people get healed, you have also seen people not get healed. My friend, don’t look to people’s experiences. Look to the cross! As surely as Jesus bore away your sins, He also bore away your diseases!

I want to give you a solid foundation today for believing this truth. In Isaiah 53, the chapter on our Lord’s crucifixion, it says in verse four: “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows”. Now, let’s learn a little Hebrew. The words “griefs” and “sorrows” here mean “sicknesses” and “pains” in the original Hebrew text. So Isaiah was referring to physical healing.

Once, I asked a Jewish friend to read this verse in his Hebrew Bible and tell me what it means. He told me that his Bible says clearly that Jesus has borne our sicknesses and carried our pains.

If that is not enough, look at Matthew 8:16–17: “… they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: ‘He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.’” Matthew quotes Isaiah 53:4, saying that Jesus took our “infirmities” and bore our “sicknesses”. The context here refers to physical healing.

My friend, if you will just believe this truth, your days of sickness will be over. You will walk in greater health because the One who has surely borne your sicknesses and carried your pains says to you, “I am willing, be cleansed!”

Thought For The Day
As surely as Jesus bore away your sins, He also bore away your diseases!

Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.John 14:27

The night before Jesus died, He gave His peace to His disciples — “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you…” This peace was not just for His disciples, but also for us today. We have His peace.

The moment you believe in Jesus Christ, He who is the Prince of Peace comes to live inside you. And when the Prince of Peace resides in you, every blessing that you will ever need pertaining to your soundness and wholeness is already inside you.

“Pastor, if this is true, then why do I still see problems in my health, finances, family and relationships?”

The answer is a troubled heart. That is why after Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you,” He said, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

A troubled and fearful heart works like fingers that clamp down hard on a water hose. The supply of water is flowing from the tap, but little or nothing is coming out at the other end of the hose. God’s ever-present supply of blessings toward you is like the water flowing freely from the tap. But you don’t see the blessings when you allow your heart to be gripped by worry or fear.

So when fearful, anxious thoughts come, remind yourself of Jesus’ words: “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Even when things appear to get worse, say, “Lord, I refuse to worry about this. In the midst of all this, I see the finished work of Christ. He said, ‘It is finished!’ So my child’s healing is accomplished. My marriage is blessed. My debts are cleared. I will let not my heart be troubled by these things.”

Beloved, I cannot “let not” for you. Your family and friends cannot “let not” for you. Only you can “let not your heart be troubled”. So guard your heart from being troubled. You don’t have to guard your career, reputation, children or even health. When you guard your heart, God will guard everything else for you!

Thought For The Day
When you guard your heart, God will guard everything else for you!

IT IS GOD NOT MEN WHO REVEALS THINGS TO MATURE ONES

PHILIPPIANS 3:14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.
16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.
17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.
18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame --- who set their mind on earthly things.
20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

NOTHING IS MORE POWERFUL IN LIFE THAN A WORD OF GOD GIVEN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT WHICH CREATED AND SUSTAINS HEAVEN AND EARTH! BUT WHAT FALSE ONES DO IS TRY TO CLAIM THAT THEIR PROPHETIC (PATHETIC) WORD IS AT THE SAME LEVEL AS THE WRITTEN INSPIRED WORD OF GOD!

2 Peter 3:5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,
6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.
7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

TRUE AND MATURE CHRISTIANS WALK IN THE SPIRIT AND OPERATE BY THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT, AND CAN GET AND GIVE A RHEMA WORD CONCERNING ANY SITUATION AND PERSON. AND AS A RESULT THEIR ENEMIES ARE TOTALLY DEFEATED AND DESTROYED BECAUSE THEY CANNOT DO THIS!

CARNAL CHRISTIANS OPERATE IN THE LOGOS WORD NOT THE RHEMA WORD. THE LOGOS WORD HAS NO POWER AND ONLY TICKLES THE EARS OF PEOPLE. THEY HAVE A FORM OF GODLINESS BUT DENY IT'S POWER AND ARE EVER LEARNING BUT NEVER COMING TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH

MANY CHRISTIANS MISS THE IMPORTANCE OF 1 CORINTHIANS 2 OF BEING LED AND TAUGHT BY THE SPIRIT AND PUTTING ON CONSTANTLY THE MIND OF CHRIST

1 Corinthians 2: 1    And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God.
2    For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
3    I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.
4    And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
5    that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
Spiritual Wisdom
6    However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7    But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
8    which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9    But as it is written: " Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
10    But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
11    For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
12    Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
13    These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14    But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15    But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.
16    For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

YES OUR CARNAL MIND IS ENMITY WITH GOD

ROMANS 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6    For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7    Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8    So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9    But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
10    And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11    But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Do You Need a Miracle Today?

What is it that activates the miracle in your life? What is it that can turn everything around? What is it that can turn desperation into a joyful celebration?

When you can't think of a way out of your impending disaster, you must know this. God can make a way where there is no way. God doesn't just find a way of escape that you couldn't find. He creates one that you would never find, because it didn't exist. God is a creative miracle God. So, when your back is against the wall, quit looking for a way out and start looking to the Source of your deliverance.

The enemy has an agenda. His desire is to steal, kill, and destroy. (John 10:10). If you are a born again believer, then you carry within you the Spirit of God on this earth and you become the target for the attacks of the enemy. But the truth is the Spirit that is possessing you is greater than the spirit attacking you. (1 John 4:4). And when all the spiritual dust settles, the Spirit within you will be standing and the spirit attacking you will be fleeing.

It's time to choose sides. It's time to decide who you are going to believe and swear your allegiance to. Are you going to believe the words of the One who is victorious or are you going to believe the words of the one who will be fleeing? The words you agree with will determine the outcome of your situation.

You may be wanting a miracle, deliverance, and victory in your life. God's Word has promised you these things. But these promises are conditional. They are activated by faith. Faith is not just knowing that God can deliver you, but faith is hearing God's promise of deliverance, deciding to believe it, speaking it until it becomes so embedded in your heart that everything you do is based on that belief.

So, it comes down to this. Unless you know God's promise, you will not know what to believe in. Where are His promises? They are found in His Word, the Holy Bible. And unless we hear His promise, we have no foundation for our faith.

So, what is the practical application of all of this? If the miracle you need is healing for your body, then you must find God's promises in His Word and hear them, either from someone else or from your own voice. Quote God's healing promise every day. And eventually it will get into your heart and the miracle of healing will take place. To help you on this, here are a couple of healing promises from God.

"... By His stripes you were healed" (1 Pet. 2:24).
"... Forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases" (Ps. 103:2-3).

If the miracle you need is a financial miracle, then do the same thing. Find verses in God's Word that tell what God wants for you in the area of finances. Some good verses are:

"... For your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich" (2 Cor. 8:9).
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 2).
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you" (Matt. 6:33).
"Honor the LORD with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine" (Prov. 3:9-10).

If your heart is broken because someone has betrayed you or because of the disappointments of life, then you must know that Jesus said in Luke 4 that He came to heal the brokenhearted.

"... He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted" (Luke 4:18).

Find the verses that promise what you need and then activate them with the catalyst called faith. Remember, faith is not just believing. Faith is hearing, believing, and speaking God's Word until it is settled in your heart and then acting on your heart.
