LOVE AND GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
"And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. Mark 16:17-20
Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city. Acts 8:5-8
Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles. Acts 15:12
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?- Galatians 3:5
Yes, God is unchanging and is a miracle working God who not only supplies the Spirit to us but works miracles amongst us by the hearing of faith! So if people are not seeing and receiving miracles it’s obviously they don’t have faith or have the wrong kind of faith? They don’t have faith that through faith in Jesus name gives men perfect soundness including physical and emotional healing.
Demonic ones who say they are Christians but are not cannot produce the fruit of the spirit because they live and walk in the flesh and not the spirit. They are deceived and demonized ones who have a form of godliness but deny and cannot show God's power. They forget that love defined in 1 Corinthians is part of the gifts of the spirit of 1 Corinthians 12 and 14 and not devoid of them!
Sadly, many Christians, in their search for God's truth has been taught wrongly about the gospel of Christ. They only know in part and have been duped to accept whatever the enemy throws their way. But they have no choice! Without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, we are powerless because we rely on our own power? The devil easily is able to lie, steal, destroy and usurp from those that allow him.
God wants to rebuke the devour on our behalf and restore all that the locust and canker worm have stollen from our lives.... From the very beginning. God wants us to take authority over satan and take back all that we've allowed satan to steal from us. God intended it for us and it doesnt belong to satan.
By faith, in Jesus name, we speak God's word and watch it perform. We must pray in the Holy Spirit, God's prayers, for then He curses the root of the problem. Often we don't know what we don't know. But, God knows all things!
Without the Baptism of the Spirit so called Christians are carnal and humanistic but not true believers! They cannot walk in agape love without infilling of the Holy Spirit. Nor, pray as they ought without praying in the Holy Spirit prayer language of tongues.
They are no better off than a nonbeliever without the power of God in them. In their humanism , or so called humanity, they are powerless to overcome anything on their own apart from God anyway. So what can we expect from them? The works of the flesh, defeat and failure! Nothing more and nothing less!
Having Jesus is one thing which most Christians think they have but having the Baptism of the Spirit is another thing! Most Christians are not Christians otherwise they would be baptized with the spirit with a strong prayer language, confess and teach 1 Corinthians 2, operate in the gifts of the spirit and be filled with agape love by the Holy Spirit.
Too many people do not understand that “agape love" which we can only have by being Baptized with the Holy Spirit -- (because God’s love (agape) has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us: Rom. 5: 5) is a correcting love which does not overlook sinful behaviour. “’For the Lord disciplines him whom he loves and chastises every son whom he receives.’ It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons” (Heb. 12: 6 – 8). God does not over-look any sin (Acts 17: 30).
The greatest is love but love doesn't bless heretics and deceivers? Love tells them the truth
Revelation 2:23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
What is sad is that they are so blind they cannot see they need to repent from their apostasy and being dead. They need to repent or perish:
Luke 13: 1 There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."
The other tragedy is that most Christian lack discernment which is an integral part of the the Gifts of the Spirit which produces the gift of knowledge,
To deal with sickness a healthy change to proper eating is the right approach in the natural. But fighting the giants from one’s feeble body, self strength and will power is not!
Many speak from a defeated position rather than position of victory! Their take on sickness is when his body is strong enough they will take the giant down?
They don't speak from faith that they are already healed by the blood of Jesus! They don't speak of god's faithfulness of never leaving them, nor forsaking them and that Jesus is closer than a brother! They speak of strangers loving and remembering them. But, not of God's unfailing, everlasting, agape love! They ignore speaking the word of God of victory including:
Psalms 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. 6 The LORD executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD.
1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness --- by whose stripes you were healed.
Christians who are in the flesh, not in the spirit, are capable of anything including bitterness, hatred, murder, unforgiveness, witchcraft, hersies, etc
GALATIANS 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
